    CMM did a great job. We had a situation that was going down a bad path and Paul and his team came in and saved us. Our house, built in 1992, has a shower leak that got into the drywall and started a mold problem that spread inside the wall beyond the shower area. CMM came in, took care of the mold, tore out the shower, replaced everything with great results. Even though we gave minimal direction on the materials to use, the end result was exactly what we hoped for. CMM even upgraded our ceiling fan and caught an issue with the way the fan roof vent was run. CMM is going to be our first choice when we look at remodeling other bathrooms because not only do they do great finish work, they would be ready for any surprises along the way

    They overcharge and they left a hole in my basement that they didn’t fixed.  Even the insurance company was unhappy with that. Our basement flooded and we had damage from mole that had grown.

    He set up an appointment with me to give us an estimate for a radon mitigation system,  which we needed, as soon as possible, in order to complete the sale of our house. I spoke to him on a Wednesday afternoon and he agreed to a 7:30 am appointment the next morning. We exchanged information and agreed to contact each other if a problem arose to prevent us from keeping the appointment. At 7:55 am, on the morning of the appointment, I called him to see if he was planning to keep the appointment, as he was 25 minutes late and had not called. He claimed to be held up doing some other work and could not give me set time to re-schedule the appointment , later that same day. He reluctantly agreed to meet the next morning at 7:30 am. He did arrive to keep the appointment and did give an estimate, which turned out to be $700 higher than the company we eventually hired.

    How did it go overall? Not so good. I initially contacted this company to do a mold inspection test (air test) at my home as I was smelling a mildewy smell. (I had contacted several companies up front, but selected this one as their initial testing to determine mold was the least expensive. I now suspect that this least expensive initial test is simply done to get you to select their company over the competition, but then the cost is made up with a more expensive remediation!) Anyway, I paid $300 for air testing, and the representative that came to my home to perform same was punctual, courteous, and acted professionally. Air test came back from lab indicating mold. I then received an estimate (scope) to remediate this mold, which remediation would cost $4,120.00, but I was uncomfortable with this scope since no mold was visible and we were really just guessing as to mold location, so I had representative return to my home to put a small hole in the wall and view inside with a camera (called boroscope). (And I'm glad I requested this, because no mold was found in the area that was to have been remediated had I signed their contract when I first received it, and I would have had a big torn up mess in my house of an area that was not the problem, and the issue would have remained unresolved!) So after looking inside the wall with a camera, the original scope was revised to encompass a different wall area of the room (which I pointed out to the representative as having been identified to me by a third party unrelated to this mold remediation company). The price of work on this newly revised scope was the same as on the initial scope, and I thought the price was too high so I didn't go forward with work. Also, in addition to being uncomfortable with the high cost and inaccurate initial identification of mold in an area where there was no mold, when I e-mailed the company's owner with some questions my father had asked me (my father would be paying for the remediation), the response I received from the owner was "call me." I replied that I would prefer he simply reply by email to the questions in my email to him so that I could print the email off and give it to my father, but I never heard from him again, and my questions went unanswered. I now see it would have been a huge mistake to use this company, and am immensely relieved I made the correct choice to not do business with them!
