AModern Home Contractors IncWe have hired Modern Home Contractors at least 4 times, being very pleased with their renovations at our home and most recently at our summer cottage. Vince is easy to work with, clear in the inventory, competent, professional, and friendly. He is very knowledgeable on all types of construction and meets his schedule. Besides the original agreed-upon renovations, he fixed a newly-discovered plumbing issue. Also we were very happy to see that his crew voluntarily fixed other, more minor, items such as attaching corners of some shelving. From the initial planning through completion, MHC took care of everything and gave us a very comfortable and functional additional living space over our garage whic we have now been using for over 2 years. Any minor issues were quickly attended to and taken care of. In addition, MHC turned out to give us the best price... We secured 4 total estimates for the project and MHC's cost was nearly half of what 2 other companies proposed. We would not hestitate to use MHC again.- Kenneth W.

We do all or part of your landscape project, listen to your needs and work within your budget. Landmasters, open seven days a week, has numerous inside and outside displays showcasing the construction companies work. Landmasters typically does not use sub-contractors unless it is more cost effective for the client.
Recent Review:
AOur large, pondless waterfall need significant rebuilding due to various problems over the year, including remove river rock, adding drainage under the liner, replacing the liner, pump box and spacers, rebuilding a five foot wall of field stone, returning river rock and finish work. The location meant the work had to be done by hand (i.e. no heavy equipment). Landmasters arrived within a week of signing the contract and performed all necessary work over three consecutive days. We were able to observe the work during the process and were impressed by their knowledge and attention to detail. The waterfall is up and running and we believe we finally found a company that could fix it correctly (after three other companies failed over the years).

AMaking the decision to replace windows on your home can be scary. I had 2 other companies come out before Pace and I picked them for they were willing to work with me on all issues. Sales representative Mark S. did a excellent demonstration on their product and was willing to take the time to answer all my questions. I was able to do back of my house (6 windows) in Fall of 2017 and front of house (8 windows) in the Spring of 2018 making it easier to come up with the money which I would owe. Their price was lower then the other companies and their customer service was excellent. Jessica in the office helped with any questions I had and the installers both times Fall and Spring did a great job. They have an excellent Lifetime Transferrable Warranty. If I did not believe in this company I would not have written a review on Angie's List. Very pleased with all that was done and with product and highly recommend this company. :)

AMatt has consistently gone above and beyond in his work. I have worked with many contractors in this area and he is the only one I will now use. The work is done quickly, beautifully and at prices that can not be matched. He is conscientious, on time, thorough and holds to his quoted prices. I have recommended him to several friends who are as equally happy with his work. Aside from the home repairs. He designed and made from scratch a gorgeous large shadow box to house my husband's guitar. Matt has also helped me figure out some redesign ideas that I will be having him do that I would never have thought of myself. I cannot recommend Matt highly enough. He is honest, respectful and his work is done to the highest standards!

ANick and his crew did an AMAZING job in our bathroom. The quality of his workmanship was outstanding. He was punctual every day, responsive to our questions and suggestions, and professional throughout. We had 5 respected contractors quote the job and Nick's price was the best of all of them. He also did a number of "extras" and never charged us for any of them. I would use Nick again and highly recommend him.
