    Above and beyond all expectations! We called JB Appliance at 1PM on a Saturday afternoon hoping to get an appointment by the following week sometime. John, from JB Appliance answered and with no hesitation, listened to our concerns and issues with the dryer and advised that he'd personally be right over. He was and in less than 20 minutes! He had all necessary tools and parts to repair the dryer on the spot and was there just over an hour. While here, he allowed us time to do a personal PM on the dryer by allowing us to clean up any unaccessible lint that had been hard to reach in the past without having the dryer apart. He also gave suggestions and personally demonstrated the tools needed & how to clean the outside accessible dryer vent. All in all, this was a great experience and would definitely recommend John, and the JB Appliance repair shop to anyone in need of appliance service work or preventative maintenance!!

    Called Dave in the morning on the very high recommendation of my regular repairman who had retired. Explained my issue, he got my machine model # and said if he could get the part he would be there this afternoon. Could not believe my dishwasher was up and running by 2:30pm. He was punctual, removed his shoes upon entering, knowledgeable, worked quickly, friendly and left no mess. He also adjusted my machine for me so I didn't have a gap. Could not have gone better.

    John showed up during the agreed-to window of time and was quick to assess the problem and had parts on hand to fix the washer. While he was looking the machine over, he noticed the belt was warping and wearing and (after showing it to me) we agreed to have him replace that, too. While working, John showed me everything he was doing and walked me through the inner workings of the washer. I noticed in some reviews that a few people complained about John taking phone calls while working. He took a couple of calls while working on the washer, but they were quick and just long enough to record a potential new customer's contact info. It did not interfere with the job and makes sense for someone running his own business. I would definitely hire him again!

    My initial call to John was because my freezer died. Because I had another freezer I told him it wasn't urgent. We set up an appointment. He was early! He explained everything and didn't try to just replace everything like a lot of companies do. The freezer is running very well. Next came the bathroom sink, which was leaking and is working fine now as well. John is a very nice person, very knowledgeable and kind. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again when something else breaks and would highly recommend his services to anybody I know.

    Mike found it quickly, and spliced in a piece of plastic water hose. Fast and he did a good job, checked his work. Way overpriced though, $2.00 worth of plastic 1/4 hose, ten minutes of his time. $129.60! Way over priced, if I have problems the next time I will shop around. Should have you tubed it and done it my self, cost $2.00!

    Sears Appliance Repair
    This is a letter I wrote to the 4th repair tech who visited my home. My goal is to share my experience with someone responsible for over-site of Sears Home services. However, my experience with Sears Home Services leads me to believe that this is a meaningless task. LETTER written to repair person because at this point I found it difficult to repeat myself one more time about the ongoing problem. I typically trust the repair person to correctly diagnose and fix appliances. This will be the 5th visit to my home. See attached part numbers purchased which did not resolve the original problem. PROBLEM the washer leaks intermittently and always the same way. Front of the machine -not a flood of water, possibly a quart. I am able to clean up without soaking the mat you see placed in front of washer. I am sure you can imagine my frustration as it relates to the time and expense with no resolution. All of Sears���s services Tech���s are polite, helpful and I was convinced after speaking to each tech the issue would be resolved by ordering the parts attached. No disrespect intended but I���m sure the Sear���s techs know the common issues and solutions with regard to this specific appliance. I honestly feel like this has become a guessing game based on this appliance typical problems more than technical experience or expertise. Unless I am convinced otherwise by you; I will only be ordering two parts today based on my own observations of when the leaking occurs. Tub ring & detergent dispenser. I am convinced there is a possibly a small hole or crack in one or both of those parts. I can see the water pushing up and over at times from detergent dispenser (actually splashes up on lid). I am assuming that typical water splashes ups/over are caught by the tub ring. Please order a tub ring & detergent dispenser. If that does not resolve this issue we are done. Again can���t tell you how disappointed I am in the service received to date. More disappointed because I am having a new stove delivered next week which I purchased from Sears. If there was any way out of that deal I would take it. One final note and I am hoping you can pass this along to someone who is responsible for the people who schedule appointments. TWO PHONE CALL CONVERSATIONS 1. I asked if I could be reimbursed for all parts ordered to date except door hinge, which was rusted and broken. I was told ���yes but we need the parts back���. 2. I asked if I could speak to a Manager or higher up about the problems not being resolved and was told by the person who answered the phone; ���I am the Manager. ���There is no one else you can speak with��� I asked her to imagine being the customer and what would she do in my place? She said ���I would go somewhere else��� Post repair update: the issue was finally resolved on the 6th visit to my home with a detergent dispenser which was my idea.
