    After a short wait,  all my questions were answered and was given 6 HD cable adaptor boxes to adapt the signal for older televisions.  I got a good deal on my service,  I have phone, cable  and internet.  You do need to call back once a year and have them rebundle your package to get the best rates.

    This was handled by a phone call to the provider.  The representative was very helpful and set up a package that saved me $11.00 a month with getting rid of unused services and keeping the ones I wanted.  It was a very pleasant and well spent phone contact.  The whole process took about 15 minutes.

    The repair man came to our house, and continued to repair everything until we had a perfect connection. He even ran new cable so we could move our internet connection. He was very professional and really knew what he was doing. We do have competion in Direct tv, but they have proved to be very unprofessional and incompetent. The company puts dishes on income property we own - without out permission on OUR roofs! These dishes cause leaks in our new roof and they are not grounded against lightening! When we request them to move them to the side of the house instead of the roof, they refuse! Direct tv told me only the Tenant can have anything moved, although I can remove it at my cost. Time Warner is more careful where they drill holes, and they ask us permission when they are dealing with a Tenant. Also, our cable is grounded against lighting! Time Warner is more expensive then I think they need to be, but our service is great.

    They are very pricey, that would be my first complaint. Our picture pixelates a lot, we have certain stations that don't come in correctly. We have had Time Warner out here at least 20 times and we have only lived here for five years. I think it might be more than that. They have run new cable and then the next person will say what bad job the previous person did. There always seems to be something new, some problem, and they're up in our attic, and basement. Nothing seems to change. I bought four different routers for our internet. They didn't buy them, we had to buy them. They were $200 and we had to keep taking them back. We finally found one that gave us internet access. The internet was fine for the first couple of years. Then all of a sudden it wasn't, and nothing worked in the house. They don't know what is wrong. We try to diagnose things ourselves if we can. My husband is a college professor so he has to have it. We have signature cable, which is supposed to give us special attention, and I don't see any benefit to that. They had someone call us, and had us do something with the modem. We had to shut everything down, the phone, and cable. I don't think they have quality personnel answering the phone. When they say they are going to be here, they are here. My time is valuable. We are close to cancelling it all. We are in the woods and don't have a good choice.

    The line was long, like it usually is. They tried to open a "bills only line" but other customer's don't always follow that rule. Overall, the experience wasn't bad but I will do my best to not go there if I don't have too.

    Great installers. Great repair people.  However, that is really the ONLY positive comment I have.  The extra lines are so minimal there is virtually nothing to them.  The box and remote are so slow and faulty in their operation, I almost miss DISH (ALMOST!).  When channels started disappearing from the "guide," I called and they scheduled a repair visit.  The very competent repairman informed me the problem was that I had set the guide to "subscribed channels only," which meant I wouldn't have to page thru 1900 channels to find the ones that were included in my package.  Unfortunately, when you do that, he said, your guide malfunctions.  So, in order to see all your subscribed channels, you have to work your way through all the extra pay ones.  Talk about annoying!  Maybe they think if we see all the offerings on the pay channels, we'll add them to our monthly bill, too.  It's difficult to believe that they cannot come up with appropriate technology to solve that problem. The biggest nightmare, though, was when I called them while on vacation to double-check and make sure the installation date was still a go, but then learned they had cancelled it when I wasn't at home when they called.  Unfortunately, I had already made my 1st month's payment.  When I signed  up again (for the SAME installation date), it took me an hour of vacation time to do so, they charged me again for the first month, saying my original payment would be refunded on my charge card, which it wasn't.  To make a long story short, after several months of battling, getting Visa involved and spending numerous hours trying to reach someone who could fix the problem, I have decided to go with Direct TV (which I'm sure has its own problems, no one's perfect, but my son In NC and daughter in WA love it!). In addition, the phone numbers they give you for "customer service" are a joke.  ALWAYS ask for a manager/supervisor.  They are the only ones who seem to (occasionally) fix problems (of their own company's creating).  The sales department is responsive up to a point (VERY responsive BEFORE the sale, of course).

    We were told by one repairman, that when the neighbors got time warner it reduced our strength for the internet and tv. Our phone still drops calls. How disappointing is that? No one seems to be able to fix it. Very disappointing for the amount of money. There is no fee for coming out to look for problems, but it is very inconvenient to have to have them come repeatedly. And sometimes you have to wait several days. And it is annoying to have dropped telephone calls and internet that dips for the price that we are paying. They need to upgrade their equipment or cable coming out here for the price that we pay.
