  • Hired this company to perform a bathroom remodel. They did a fantastic job. Very easy to get in contact with in order to discuss the project and were willing to answer any questions. The remodel looks great and they had a better price then any of the other estimates. We plan on hiring them again.

  • Kevin showed up on time and gave an honest and straight forward assessment of how the job needed to be done. He started the job on time and completed it in the timeframe he said it would be done. He gladly did a few extra jobs that we asked him to do. All work is outstanding. We are very happy with the outcome of the job and will happily hire him again for our next job.

  • This was a total home remodel, meaning a gut job to the studs in 2012. Jeff's work was below average, the apex of the roof where the siding and J Channel connect continually blew off in the wind because he cut the siding too short. I was counter sinking the header between the kitchen and main room, he ordered the lally columns and measured too short; the contractor I hired to complete the house and fix his mistakes trashed approx $1200- for the columns alone. Not including the costs associated with fixing the siding. The only thing done well was the demo. For the work that was completed I was totally over charged, then badgered to pay him more which I refused. I'm sorry I didn't have time to take him to court to recover some costs. I would not recommend him. He may have learned more since then but I believe this job was over his head in scope and he chose to not be straight forward about his skill set at the time. To make matters worse he was referred through a fellow Real Estate agent.

  • I first contacted Luis to give me a quote for interior painting of our new home. As we spoke in person he shared how much potential our home had and I told him the ideas we had in mind and he said "I know how to do all of that." I am big on a person energy/vibe and I received such a great vibe from him. I shared with my husband about our first encounter and he preferred to not do the painting. So I continued to remind him of how handy Luis is and all the great reviews I read on and suggested he meet him and get a quote for the major project on the house we had in mind. My husband liked what he had to say and decided let's knock down our chimney that was what you first seen when walking into our Levittown home in the kitchen. So Luis helped us with his fabulous team to remove the chimney which opened our space up a lot. Gut out the entire kitchen, paint the kitchen, move the boiler to the garage, redo the kitchen floors which we decided on Porcelain, paint the hallway that extended to the kitchen, cover up part of our kitchen window since we were relocating things in the kitchen and also installed our cabinets for us. Luis and his team are bilingual in English and Spanish and are so friendly and work quickly. Luis is a perfectionist and gave us his honest opinion on picking certain materials and items for the house which was super helpful. Customer service overall was Amazing. He answered every call and text and was always prompt to arrive on time to work. He also would give us updates on the next steps which was highly appreciated. We will post before and after pictures soon. We highly recommend that you go with Luis for any work you may need.

  • This review is well over do. Pat from islander home improvement , is the most honest and professional gentleman I have ever dealt with. His attention to detail is ridiculous , for example when his Carpenters where putting the trim around the windows from across the room pat realized that 1 of the windows didn't line up we went over and measured it was 3/8 off an inch off. He had them take then down and redo them. Also my water hose never worked the spout in front and back of my house were broken , without even telling me he had his plumber fix them and never charged me , I found out when my landscaper was using them. All the work his guys did exceeded my expectations. Pat tells alot of jokes and he treats you like family. The best part was at the end of the job I owed pat $15.000 at least I thought. I paid him he gave me a hug goodbye and 10 minutes later he knocked on my door and said you over paid me $7500 again he's a jokester and I thought he was joking, he said 2 weeks before that my wife gave him a payment of $7500 I had no clue and my wife forget as well. WOW What an amazing guy. I highly recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

  • They were professional and one time. They finished earlier than expected. We had a few minor things that needed fixed and they came back right away to make the adjustments. We are happy with the results. I have recommended them to other people.

  • Daniel our Production Manager, took care of everything. I made a little change here and there and he was very attentive and was able to adjust quickly. The gentlemen that came to do the work were so skilled and professional. It was a pleasure and before we knew it they were finished. We actually missed them!! We get compliments on our home constantly and I am happy to tell people Alure did it! Cant wait to do my bathroom over the summer!

  • We are so pleased with the work Kevin Cullen, Creatively Done Home Improvements, did for us with our kitchen remodel. Kevin and Tony installed an over-the-range microwave and vented it to the outside. They also installed crown molding on our cabinet tops. They matched the paint stain beautifully! The attention to detail they gave was extraordinary. We ran into difficulties hidden behind the wall layers in the middle of the job, causing them to redirect their planning. They always kept their pleasant attitude and Kevin said “we will find a way to get it done, don’t worry.” And they did. Kevin’s work ethic was very evident – arriving promptly at 8:00 a.m., putting clear plastic down everywhere, cleaning up thoroughly when leaving and treating our home and this job as their own. When we took the new microwave out of the box and found it to be defective, Kevin was determined to complete our job as promised, and they returned the next day (even though it was a Sunday!) to do this. We sincerely appreciate all the hard work, dedication and skilled craftsmanship of this company and how beautiful our kitchen looks now. We will definitely use again! Thank you.

  • They are the best! They are going to do more work for me. Always on time! We are in the middle of work now.
They were very clean, very neat, on time and whatever they quoted originally, they stuck by it, whatever the prices were.
They were very honest and above board.

  • In four short months, Ambassador Home Improvement turned our basic Levit cape into a beautiful 2700 sq ft mother-daughter home - all within budget and in time. More than that, the quality and craftsmanship of the work as well as the dedication of the Ambassador team gets my highest recommendation and wholehearted endorsement. If you need a quality job done properly, beautifully, and on time, don’t waste your time with others, just call Ambassador. After researching area contractors and asking around for recommendations, we decided to go with Ambassador mainly because of their stellar reputation for high quality jobs done in a timely fashion. We also brought a challenging set of circumstances to Gary Zaccaro and his team. My father, who was diagnosed with dementia several years ago, would have to move out of the house while the renovation was being completed. While we thought dad could handle this, it was important that our contractor work quickly and within a promised time frame. The situation only got worse as just when we were slated to move forward, he was diagnosed with colon cancer. The stress of my family was incredible but through all of this, Gary and Doug Foote (our project manager) made sure to work us into their production schedule and were incredibly sensitive to my family’s needs. We funded the project using a 203K Mortgage. This type of loan is very paper-work intensive, and it took a little effort on my end to follow the draws and disbursements from the bank. However, Michele and Kathy in the Ambassador office made sure that the paperwork was always in order and answered any of my questions promptly. One of the keys to Ambassador’s success, I think, is the very able and professional office support staff. They are wonderful. While we used our own architect, Gary and Doug worked seamlessly with him to ensure that our project was completed just as we envisioned it. As for the actual work, there was never a doubt in my mind that we were going to have the nicest house in the neighborhood once Ambassador was completed. From day one on April 24 when the demo crew showed up, the work moved along at an incredible pace. Within a week our home had a roof and windows, and we were well on our way to project completion. I developed a very strong working relationship and friendship our PM Doug. If I ever had a question or concern, Doug answered my text or call within ten minutes no matter what time of day or night, week day or weekend. In my opinion, Doug was the lynchpin to our getting back into the house on August 24 – four months to the day from when we began. We were promised a four month completion and that’s exactly what we got, due in large part to Doug’s skills and ability to coordinate and incredible number of subcontractors, tradesmen and craftsmen. Not only was Doug a great project manager, but he helped us envision a few alterations to the project along the way that made the finished project even better. He has a great sense of space and design and a keen ability to “get things done” that is impressive and a true testament to the skilled crew and quality work that Gary guarantees at the beginning of the process. To give you an idea of how impressed we are with Doug – he knows that our door is always open to him if he’s driving in the area day or night and we feel we could not have gotten through this stressful summer when so much “family stuff” was going on parallel to our renovation without his support and assistance. A few notes on other highlights of working with Ambassador. The rest of the Ambassador in-house crew couldn’t have been more courteous and professional. The guys (Anand, Jose, Sinbad) were quick to help me move a piece of furniture or help move building supplies around, even if it wasn’t their responsibility. The job site was always kept clean and safe and we could always rely on someone from the Ambassador crew giving us a heads up if a package got delivered or if they saw something at the house that they thought needed our attention as homeowners. Additionally, our plumber Anthony Belmonte really stood out as a man truly dedicated to his craft. My wife and I were due to go on vacation at the very end of the project but we needed to be sure that the house was livable for my folks before we left. Anthony and his mechanic Chris stayed until 9 PM one evening making sure the sinks were hooked up and ready to go so that my wife and I could leave my parents without worrying about them. The entire Ambassador team was really in tune with our family’s needs from start to finish. As for the nuts and bolts – our job was completed with the highest-quality materials and finishes including Andersen windows, Thermatru exterior doors and solid-wood interior doors (not the hollow core kind from the big box stores). You really get a sense that Gary and the team wouldn’t use anything but the best building materials because of the pride they take in their work. Even down to the joists (which were over-engineered vs. the architect’s specs) we know that everything in the house, on the house, behind the walls, and under the floors is top-notch. I cannot say enough about the Ambassador team, the company, and the speed and quality with which our project was completed. While anyone can use high quality materials, it takes a special group of people to make a high quality company. We were blessed and fortunate to work with Ambassador, lucky to have Doug as our project manager and could not recommend this company and these people enough. Please call them – you will not be disappointed!
