  • Company was fantastic to work with. The owner came out to view our home layout and explain the different options available to us. They were very competitive on pricing. Installation went smoothly and the system has continue to function flawlessly for about year.

  • I called ADT and agreed to having an
    alarm system put in my home.It was done on August 7, 2015.I had to sign acontract?Which stated ADT Alarm Services, so I believed it was for ADT Services.
    The cost is $36.88 per month for three years.  Total contract $1331.64.  If I break the contract at this time it would cost me $803.  Then told $191 for permit.The system was hooked up, and I was never told that it was connected to my telephone ? I was never given the option of having it done cellular,
    The alarm went off once and I could not get assistance and my phone was dead.Then Defenders called back and said
    they were testing and I could not use my phone in an emergency. I called ADT and said I did not want
    it set up that way.  I did not want my phone blocked in an emergency.  And I wasentitled to have it set up without paying a penalty.  They refused. t was about 5 days after the date contract specified.
    At that time I wrote to ADT.  Surprisingly, ADT (Defenders) said it  would be done, free of charge for it was only
    a few days re contract.  They set a date,I took off work, and the serviceman
    never came.  I called again, and after   about l2 calls to all different
    numbers, a date was set for November 21, 2015 The technicians came, and told me there was a charge to change from landline
    to cellular.  I told them that ADT (Defenders) said there would be no charge. The technician, a kind man began
    trying to contact ADT, or Defenders , the phone number kept bouncing around.  Ultimately, we were told, there is no ADT,
    they have no responsibility, we have to go by what Defenders tells us.I then wanted to cancel my contract,
    but was told it would cost $803 immediately.Can you please help me, and of course
    others who believe they are covered by ADT, and are not?the subcontractorDefenders in my case makes all the rules
    and charges.

  • after numerous problems with ad&t  alarm company i decided to switch companys  and went  with standguard.and I am so happy I did not only did I get a better alarm for less money.my monthly rate is less . there was very professional and most all show up on time and clean up after them self. did not keep me waiting.

  • had a appointment for july 3 2014 to up grade my system.called me 2 and half hours after these was to be here.to say there have to reschedule my appointment.i said I need this done.i am going away on vacation on july 10.told me that I will be the first appointment on july 8 2014.when did not show up at 800am. I called them at 1030am.and there said be there by 12 noon.then called at 12 noon to say be there after 2000pm.then called at 440am.and said service men was running late.will have to reschedule my appointment.again.said to him you got to be kidding.this is not this first time had a problem with this company.last November my alarm go off at 300am.the lady that called my wife tell her to check the windows.my wife said she not doing that. tell her if she does not want to do it..wait until the morning.to do it.then my wife had to tell them to called the police.then there give 911 the wrong house number twice.need I to say anymore..called and cancel there service.there are the worst.
