Overall experience was excellent. I was contacted soon after I made my initial inquiry. An appointment was made and came to my home as scheduled to discuss the project and the various options that I had . After some consideration I decided to go forward. An install date was made and they came when scheduled. The work was done within the time frame that was estimated and was very professionally completed from start to finish including cleaning up before they left . Also Eddie very specific to tell me that if I had any questions or concerns in the future to please feel free to contact him.

    DF Construction
I hired DF Construction to replace windows, siding, garage doors, gutters and my front door. This is the biggest single project Id ever considered and I was very apprehensive about it. I kept imagining all the things that could go wrong! Don Frame and his crew were wonderful to work with. From the very first estimate, Don took the time and made plenty of measurements to make sure that he knew exactly what I was hoping to get. He explained the options and suggested some alternatives that saved me quite a bit of money. Dons crew encountered challenges as they worked bitter cold being the worst but they always remained courteous, pleasant and professional. Every time something unexpected came up, Don or one of his crew explained the options and made sure I was happy with their solution. They cleaned up after themselves every day and always arrived on time. DF Construction did a fantastic job! I am very pleased with the final result and I wont hesitate to contact Don again for future projects.

    Home Evolution Contractor LLC
Excellent! This company installed a new roof at my Latham property a month or so ago and did an amazing job! They are very hard working and don't mess around. They are there to get the job done and that is exactly what they did. They tarpped my home to protect the windows, etc. and also tarpped the grounds so that nails/woods would end up on the tarp and not the lawn. I found one nail three weeks later. Awesome job guys! I would hire this company again without hesitation!

    Bennett Contracting Inc
The 2 carpenters- Ric (no longer w/Bennett, I understand) and Julian- were great. They showed up every day, cleaned up behind themselves each time and were easy and fun to work with. The job took about 4 weeks longer than planned- 4 mos instead of 3. I have no idea why. It wasnt mentioned, but by week 10, it was clear to me it wasnt getting done on time. Each time I asked- So, how much longer? I got a list of things yet to be done. The take away answer in my head each time was as long as it takes. So, thats how long it took. I was tired of the disruption, but, since I liked the guys, it was tolerable. It cost what was estimated except for a few unforeseen issues, such as a buried hunk of concrete where they were digging the foundation (probably left over treasure from the addition the prior owner did) an add-on job (replace front porch deck) and, for some reason, an additional $500 for the oversized kitchen counter (which was the same size it started out to be- so, not sure why that was a surprise). Minor problems were dealt with and solved without much problem (E.G. kitchen faucet hole was drilled too close to the edge of the counter- water wouldve overshot and hit the floor when I swung the faucet from side-to-side), so, I ended up with a soap dispenser in that hole- way better than waiting for a do-over!). I was not happy with how the excavator covered his tracks, because he left some big ruts in the yard and didnt put the rock retaining wall on the street back very well. I believe several of the rocks were left in the path of the big trucks, got crushed, and couldnt be put back. The returned portion of the rock wall isnt even with the untouched part of the wall. There was about a 1 ft dip from one part of the yard to the temporary access road created and used by the trucks during the project. I covered some of that with 2 yards of soil I bought the following spring, but with all the dirt they carted away from digging the foundation and the equipment they have, I think they couldve done a better job of grading the soil and saved me $100 for top soil (and some back pain.) As I understand it, the excavator was not part of Bennett- that part was contracted out. The only other issue was the letters from the town a year after the job was begun (June 2018) because Bennett forgot to get the last inspection done at the completion of the job (Oct 2017). No huge problem in the end, but the letters threatening legal action if I didnt respond and needing to call the PM a few times to get updates and a final inspection date so long after the fact was frustrating. However, overall, it turned out well and Im happy with the results. And, from what Ive heard and seen from others, for the size of the job, it went pretty smoothly and they took care of A LOT of details.

    NML Contracting & Roofing
We were very happy that we hired NML to put a new roof on our home. Joe was very prompt in calling us to set up an appointment for a quote. He was very informative telling us about what and how things would be done. We were hoping for a quick turn around and we couldn't have been happier. He and his crew arrived exactly when they said they would. They were very professional and got the job done in one day. We are very happy with the results and would definitely hire NML again.

The job went very well. They arrived on time and building supplies came shortly after. Everything was covered and protected around the perimeter of house. It was explained to me everything they were doing and why. By late afternoon the job was finished and they did a great job of cleaning up. I was very pleased.

    Better Construction Services
They showed up at the time they said they would with an incredible crew of professional, mission-driven men. They were respectful of me and my property. They cleared debris as they removed it. The crew chief checked in with me periodically to inform me how the project was going. Better Construction Services was flexible and responsive when I told them the timeframe I needed to have the work done, due to the upcoming solar installation on my roof. I am very happy with the work that Better Construction Services provided and highly recommend them. My new roof looks awesome.

    Cousins Construction
The job went great, quality work, great price, great warranty and fit our tight schedule. Jason was a pleasure to deal with. He was the only contractor who stated up front we didn't need a whole new roof. Because we're looking to sell our house this summer we preferred to have the 20 y/o torch down replaced and were hoping to have the work completed by end of April. He was only one of two contractors who offered a torch down. All the others recommended EPDM with estimates $800-$2000 higher. Jason explained the job in detail and provide fascia options that resulted in easier long term maintenance. The original job included only the rotted gutter side fascia to be replaced but at the last minute I asked for the other two sides to be replaced as well. We agreed that I would reinstall the motion sensor flood light but Jason's crew reinstalled it at no additional cost because access to the wiring was easier while the fascia was being installed. The crew was friendly and did a great job keeping the work area and our yard clean during and after the work.

    L & H Construction Company
I thought he was really good, prompt, showed up, got the stuff done, we'll definitely use him again.

He's my go to guy for my roofing.

He was very good at explaining what he was going to do, he showed up, he did it, no problems at all, seem very honest, very straight forward.

I would recommend them without hesitation.

Great! The service provider was very good at communicating and scheduling the service. In addition, the service provider gave quotes on installing gutter shields to keep out debris. While we did not purchase the gutter shields, we appreciated the option.
