    Dealing with Peter was easy and professional from start to finish. Called him, he asked me to do a quick test on my dryer, he diagnosed the issue, we scheduled an appointment for the next day, he showed up exactly on time with the part in hand and he made the repair. He also called me afterwards to follow up on the repair and provided some info on a part we had discussed. I plan to call Peter the next time I need a repair and would recommend him to friends and family.

    Pauls Appliance Repairs
    Everything was great. Paul came originally to repair our dryer and after fixing that he was able to replace parts that had broken off our dishwasher that made it work intermittently. Both repairs were completed within 2 hours even though we had only told him about the issue with our Dryer. He was very knowledgeable about both repairs and he explained everything that he did. Thanks!

    • -Mike, the owner, spent an hour or two on a Saturday morning getting information and parts for my dryer.  Even looked at pictures I emailed to him.  
    - Came to my home the same afternoon, got to work right away.  
    • - Had everything he needed, explained everything that was going on.

    • - Charged me a reasonable price for a part and Saturday service call.

    After numerous calls to local appliance repairs, including the Haier company service number, I was having a difficult time getting someone to come look at my kegerator.  A few said they don't work on them.  Others said it is probably the a new one.  I finally called All Appliances.  After we talked on the phone he agreed to come to the house to take a look.  He checked the compressor and told me it was good.  He said it must be the relay.  He was going to check Haier for parts and would call me back at 4 that afternoon.  He called and said Haier didn't sell the relay without the compressor.  He said he would like to try something and would like to come back in a couple of days.  When he returned he had a generic relay.  After hooking it up temporarily, we plugged it in.  Sure enough it started right up.  I was very pleased with his professional ability and his diagnostic ability.  I haven't used repair men very often, and I thought $95 just to come to the house was steep, but ai may be wrong.

    Paul's Appliance service was great.  Punctual, knowledgeable, personable and completed quickly.
    He returned my initial call  in way less than the hour his message said it could take.  It was late in the day and he still tried to get someone to us that evening but it was too late.  He called back immediately and said they would be there between 10 and 12 the next morning.  The tech Rusty called and was there way before 10! That never happens!
    Was able to diagnose the issue quickly, price the parts, pick them up, install them and get us up and running in an hour or two.
    I would definitely recommend them and will call them again for any appliance repair.

    I had an appt w/ another company who quoted me $99 to walk through the door and gave me a 4 hour window of time of when they would arrive.
    I looked on Angie's List for other options, saw A to Z, called, received a quote of $86.50 and they scheduled me for an exact time (1pm) two days later. The service man arrived at exactly 1pm, attempted a multitude of strategies to figure out what was wrong w/ the machine, at one point he thought it was the motor, however he REFUSED to give up, until he was certain what the problem was.
    the end, it was a washcloth stuck in the water pump, he pulled it out and the machine was in perfect working condition again. This took about 1 1/2 hours of relentless attempts to fix my machine.

    Mike diagnosed the problem over the phone. He listened to the sound the dryer was making during our initial call. He was fairly certain that it was the fan. He had me read the model number from the inside door of the dryer. He obtained the part before arriving. After examination, he determined that it was indeed the fan, so he replaced it. He tested it before leaving and it ran and sounded fine. Later that evening it started to make a loud noise. Mike came the naxt day, dis-assembled the dryer, double checked the new fan and all connections and found that a large belt had moved from its original location. So he adjusted it and everything has been working fine.

    Our washing machine wouldn't complete the spin cycle without making some crazy noises.  Called Paul around 1pm on Friday after a couple of other places didn't return my phone call or wouldn't schedule anything until Monday.  Paul sent Rusty over and he was at my house by 1:45pm.   Fixed it in 20 minutes and even gave me the 5% discount they are offering without having the printed coupon.  Great guy!  And now I can do my laundry this weekend! :)

    1. August 2012; Our 3 year old GE washer started leaking from the bottom. I called Mike because of all the excellent reviews found here on Angie's List. This washing machine had had 1 transmission replaced already while still on warranty. It was no longer on warranty and I do NOT love Sears home service enough to bother with them off warranty. I called Mike on a Thursday afternoon and he came out Friday. He told us it was the transmission again and not to bother fixing it. His honesty is refreshing and he only charged us $20.
    2. September 2012; Our 10 year old Kenmore dryer suddenly would not start at 8pm on a Friday, 2 days before we were due to go on vacation. I called Mike that night, left a message, he called back before 10pm and said that he would be out on Saturday. He came out on Saturday, found that it was a fuse in the dryer, fixed it. We were realived that we did not have to buy a new dryer, since we had just purchased a new washer. $100 for the dryer. He is no nonsense and does it right. 5 stars for A to Z appliance repair.
