Lighting Installation reviews in Larchmont

    BNA Electric Corp
Rafael did the work neatly and cleaned up completely. He recommended new fixtures to replace antiquated recessed lights in our kitchen, did research and ordered the new lights, was polite and easy to work with and very communicative. He's got great ideas and is always looking for ways to be helpful. A pleasure to work with!

    Classic Construction Group
I hired German Ruiz, Classic Construction Group in January 2018 to start work on a charming, fixer upper I purchased in Larchmont, NY. The house had great bones but was outdated from top to bottom, including painted faux painted panel walls. I asked Classic Construction to gut and expand the kitchen by knocking down a wall and moving another, redo a bathroom, sheet rock walls, replace ALL window and door casings, replace doors, create custom radiator cover, tile work and address a structural concern. The work is superb and meticulous. The tile work and casings are perfectly even - no small feat in a 100 year old tudor house. The work was so well done that the kitchen cabinet supplier complimented his work. His workers were nice and polite and my new neighbors expressed that they were very friendly and neat. The base project was on budget any overages were due to my finish selection and a missing beam not indicated by my architect. His estimate was pretty close. The time was a little longer than preferred due to permits and suppliers - but I have yet to hear of a renovation project without a frustration. Personally, German is great to deal with and very personable. An enjoyable experience! I will definitely hire again and I am quite spoiled by the relatively smooth process.

    Tri-Phase Electric & A V Inc
At first they were super responsive, obviously a slow time. I had bought a coupon and they were ready to install -- but then I informed them that I was waiting for the lights to come in. When they did come in a few weeks later, suddenly they must have gotten busy again and I was blown off. At first they said they could come in a month...then it was gonna be 2 months...then finally they told me to ask for my $ back for the coupon. Bizarre exchange.

    Roger Billharz Electric
My experience for the big deal service from Roger Billharz Electric was good, it was fine. I used them twice. I used them a while back to put in a whole bunch of lights in my living room and I used them another time for just a small job. My experience was fine, everything was good.

    Ardee Electrical Construction
Have also replaced light switches and installed a new ceiling fan. They are always polite, on time, able to get to me within a reasonable amount of time from when I called them with my problems. I call them whenever I have electrical problems and I will never call anyone else!

    Wilmar Electric
I used Wilmer Electric because my past experience with them had been excellent. The price was reasonable for the services provided. They are not cheap, but I believe generally you get what you pay for. The workers arrived as scheduled. They worked efficiently, were professional and respectful, kept me informed of their progress, provided alternative choices when one of the electrical outlets could not be installed where I had planned, and cleaned the worked area. I would definitely use Wilmer Electric again. In fact, I have already received a quote to upgrade my electric planel. I plan to use Wilmer Electric for that service later this year. My only issue was that it took longer to get a quote than I had hoped. I think the delay was due to technology issues. Glad I waited for the quote. Overall minor issue in an otherwise very positive experience.

    Spirelli Electric Inc
Jeff from Spirelli stopped by to replace some light fixtures. We are also planning to do future work to add recessed lighting in the living room. They charged based on time and materials. The work was very clean and efficient. Think Jeff did a great job and they were much better value for money than some of the other quotes we got.
We are definitely planning to bring them back for more work at the house soon.

    Keating Electric & Technologies
Keating Electric is amazing. We moved into an older home that was like the Winchester Mystery House of electrical issues. We had switches that did nothing, lights that wouldn't turn off, lights that we couldn't find the switches to, lots of things that weren't up to code, and an electrical panel that was a mess.
As new homeowners we sought opinions from a few different electricians. When Keating came the electrician, Eddie, figured things out that the other electricians hadn't and seemed to know immediately what some of our issues were. He also had a good knowledge of older homes (ours is from the 1920s). Aside from being impressed by this, I liked that they bill by the task, not by the hour.
It seemed like everything they needed to do ended up being more complicated than they anticipated, but they took their time to explain what they found and what they were going to do to fix it. I felt like I got a good education in the process and am 100% confident in their work. Another plus: They are a big company, which means they do everything by the book.
These guys are honest, reliable and most importantly incredibly knowledgable. I wouldn't go with anyone else!

    Conte Electric Inc
Were recommended by my neighbor and architect. We have plaster walls and old electrical in our 1920's house. Every bedroom did not have a ceiling light or a light switch on the wall. Over the years we've had some real unprofessional people "install" a light switch (and light fixture) in a bedroom and leave a our place a wreck.
Conte/A Perfect Goldman didn't leave a mess and were in and out before I knew it. They saw our walls and told us beforehand where they were going to make their cuts. They neatly patched up the holes and I barely noticed anything.

    Ardee Electrical Construction
We needed a motion detector light installed outdoors above a terrace where we walk at night to let the dog out. We also needed existing exterior lighting fixtures repaired and/or reset, and some interior high-hat bulbs replaced in a high ceiling.

Ardee's man, Luis, showed up on time, fixed what he could that day, and came back a week later to install a part he'd had to order. At all times, he was professional and friendly and took great care not to damage our home. He even wore surgical booties when entering the house after mucking about outdoors! He managed to run wiring to the new exterior fixture from an inside socket without doing much damage to the interior wall. I'm not sure we'll even bother repainting the small hole he made and covered with spackle.

The office person actually responded to emails and was helpful and professional. We couldn't be happier with the work and the experience.  Would definitely use Ardee again.
