AFRUEHAUF ASSOCIATES INCExcellent!! A tree crushed a large portion my roof during a wind storm. After calling several contractors to no avail I was referred to Fruehauf Associates. Scott and company went out of their way to repair my roof. Took care of the necessary permits. They worked with insurance company and us to get the financial issues solved. The actual reconstruction is better than original structurally. Their work blends into the original structure perfectly. I can’t express my appreciation for the work they all put into helping my wife and I get our house back together. If you want a superior, stress free experience Scott and his people are the ones to get it done.- Dan H.

DD Allen & Sons ContractingHad 2 windows installed in December. Went outside in May and found they had not caulked around one of the windows. All winter snow and rain had entered. Had 2 other issues that were not rectified even after calling them....would not use them again.- linda c.

FWny Property KingsI don't enjoy having to write this review but I want others to avoid wasting their time like I did. I scheduled for Kyle to come out on 7/11 for an estimate. He did not show up, which is extra unfortunate as it was an early Saturday morning. However, mistakes happen and I don't believe that one scheduling mishap defines a company. I was willing to reschedule. Eventually, I got ahold of Kyle again via Facebook and was rescheduled for an estimate on 7/30. Kyle was on his way to a job and had very limited time to offer us at our appointment (<10 min). We didn't know that of course, until he got to our home. Rushing through his questions, taking his notes with a sharpie and scrap piece of paper, and not bothering to have a mask to wear were all pretty big red flags. I knew we would NOT be a priority to this company. Regardless, he was friendly enough and said he'd get the estimate to us in a couple days (it was a Friday so I figured by mid-first week of August). Well, not surprisingly, an estimate didn't come. Three weeks later and I notice him offering free estimates on the local community page and I took the opportunity to ask him if my estimate was on the way. I got "It will be ready early next week". Fast-forward to September and I have received nothing from this company. I have reached out to 4 other businesses in the meantime and their conduct has been more professional, friendly and structured by a mile. I am very confused by my experience with WNY Property Kings and their lack of professionalism, as they came highly recommended.- Emily L.

FKazmar Constructionthey suck. They caused our home addition project not to start. They sent us an original bid of 74k and then prior to construction going to start and finalize he upped the bid 40k to 115k. Guys a scam artist and doesn't communicate at all.- Russ C.

FFour Seasons ConcreteVery badly. Work was started in 3rd week of May and Michael Stroh told me on June 5th that his crew were finishing up the job and I should go to Citizen's Bank to pay in full to his account. I believed him and did what he asked. However, one section of the house path was incomplete, both paths were left unsealed and there is a hole in the concrete due to water dripping where a drain pipe was removed but not cut to size and replaced. Lastly, the electricity to my garage was lost because a wire under the garage path was damaged according to Master Electrician of Sloan, NY. Of course, now I face the cost of repairing that wire source.- Deborah M.

ARomeo's Superior Home ImprovementsFor anyone in need of a contractor I highly recommend Romeo's Superior Home Improvements . He went above and beyond what was negotiated. Before we started he was sure to inform me of his legally required accreditations. His price was beyond fair in comparison to other quotes I got. He was to stabilize my very dilapidated rotted garage and install siding. Without even being asked he removed a ton of trash that was in the garage waiting for big garbage day & built a new shelf without even mentioning it. A new gutter was installed & extra plastic was added to keep it dry... no change in cost! Everything was left clean, immaculate, and wayyyyyyy cleaner than he found it. He removed more rotted wood and cedar shake that he noticed mid project had to be removed again without changing my cost. He and his workers were on time, super polite, skilled, efficient and professional the entire time.... I can't say enough! Nothing but quality NEW materials (I assumed that was a given but last guy didn't!) Done in 2 days!!! I don't even think they took breaks that we noticed !!! What a difference and relief from the last loser contractor I hired!!!! We just had a terrible experience with another contractor who we had to take the court and were very nervous... but everything was perfect! I look forward to hiring him for more projects. ARomeo's Superior Home ImprovementsRomeo and his crew were professional and pleasant. When I first contacted Romeo he called me the same day to set-up an appointment to come to our home. He called when he was on his way so I knew when to expect him. Romeo listened to our ideas for a patio. His ideas and design were great and the outcome is more than we could've imagined. We kept it simple but it has character and is a great addition to our home, thanks to Romeo and his crew. Romeo called or texted when the job was delayed because of the weather. He kept us informed every step of the project from beginning to end. Everyday he texted, sent pictures and kept in contact to ensure we were pleased with how the project was going. He even replaced a slab of concrete in our driveway that cracked while he and his crew were working. It was most likely the result of poor workmanship by another contractor. But Romeo took responsibility for the damage without hesitation. He was on the job and worked as hard as his crew,. This speaks volumes about Romeo's commitment to his profession and the pride he takes in what he does. In addition to the patio he built a shed that came out looking like a Tiny House instead of an ugly building! He gave us a window for the shed at no charge and kept the costs in our budget. There is no doubt that we will hire Romeo for future projects. It is so hard to find honest, professional and dedicated contractors. We were burned by another contractor who took our money and never came back to do the job. It is nice to know that Romeo and his crew stand by their work and are honest, hard working people.- Mary Louise V.

AIt was a great experience overall. Dylan was able to give me a quote on the spot, other companies took weeks for them to quote me. His price was 20-40 percent lower than all the big companies. It came out great we love it. He was on time and very professional. I will definitely use him again.

AJD Construction was great for my bathroom and kitchen update. They did extensive work including replacing the subfloor and rotted joists in the bathroom. They did the floor installation in bathroom and large kitchen, put up new drywall, stained and installed cabinets, and installed water fixtures. Jeff and Derek are responsive, easy to get in touch with, very professional and polite, they are a great, fast-working team that I would hire again for future projects.

FDO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! You will be sorry. Mike was the worst person I could have hired to do my GC for my new build. In the beginning he was great. Really enjoyed meeting with him and talking about my project. He was your typical sales man, all talk and very lil if any actions. I would catch him multiple times lying to me and making up reasons why things were not getting done. He will over charge you way more than actual costs. He know the business and even better knows how to manipulate people into thinking he will over see the project. I hired him because I was assured he would be there everyday and make sure everything was done correctly. He never showed up and would never get back to you when there was a problem . Worst mistake I ever made contacting him. I would never recommend him to anyone. Your local paper boy would do a better job being your GC. I could write a book on the amount of problems I had with him.

AYour Renovation is worth the wait!! My wife and I wanted to renovate our Ryan Homes builders grade bathroom so it was more than just a shower, soaking tub, and toilet. Tim had previously completed a kitchen renovation for my mother and father in law so we immediately knew we wanted him to work on our next project. Due to his high demand and COVID Tim was booking out for months, but we found if you want quality work and attention to detail you have to have a little patience. Once the work began Tim and his team were meticulous about the work area, putting up multiple layers of plastic to contain the dust and debris and then ensuring everything was vacuumed and wiped down at the end of the day. Communication was very open with him and he would discuss the day prior what his team would be working on, this included what time they would be onsite and what they may need for us to have prepared (material and color choices, etc.). Their typical day started at 8am and they worked consistently throughout the day, not ending until everything they had anticipated completing was done. This may mean 5:30pm or 7pm ensuring they stayed on the timeline they provided us, he was even opened to working on random Saturdays (within our schedule of course) to ensure there were no delays to our overall schedule. Every other day or so my wife and I would have a question about material finishing color selection etc. Tim would always listen and discuss collaboratively with us, without making us feel like we had no clue what we were talking about. Warping up the work Tim has always picked up the phone to answer any questions or address any concerns with vendors. The best example our vanity was ordered on Wayfair and came in damaged. Even after the job was done Tim came back to change out the door. It wasn't a huge job by any means but he wanted to make sure that it was done perfect. The amount of passion Tim has for his work is unmatched by any other contractor. Every inch of our renovation alludes a perfection that you will not find anywhere else and we look forward to using him and his team for future projects.

Awe had 10+ double hung windows, a new slider & a new door installed. we selected our Sunrise windows & immediately noticed the difference in our comfort level this past winter; even in the summer with no A/C, the house stays a lot cooler than before. I was a little nervous since this was going to cost a good amount, so I researched forever (it seemed), interviewed a few folks re: costs, & decided on Ivy Lea. I wanted peace of mind in case of any issues, now & down the line. I wanted quality windows & professional install. the entire process of working with Russ, choosing products & securing financing was easy. the installers were prompt, skilled & personable. we were so happy with the window process that we're back again this year working with Russ on a much bigger project!

AIf you are thinking about going with Romeo’s Superior Home Improvements for work on your home - do it! In October of 2020, we found our selves in a pickle after a different contractor had damaged our property during the installation of a patio which resulted in him walking away from the project before it was finished. I reached out to Romeo that same night looking for someone to finish the project and by the next morning he was at the house to give an estimate. Not only was Romeo an absolute god-send but he’s timely, professional and passionate about his work. I know that we will have projects in the future that will need a professional and when that time comes you know we’ll be calling Romeo!
