Russell Renovations is the BEST contractor I have hired in 30-years. This statement should not be taken lightly as I manage multiple rental properties and have fully renovated three houses. This is a family owned business of two highly skilled craftsmen. They bring great ideas to the table, are very knowledgeable about what the current real estate market demands, and both are very efficient. Tim is a master wood worker. They keep you apprised of next steps and do not "job" hop. Your project is their focus whether it takes 1 month or, like in my case, 4 months. Their prices are very fair and they have outstanding connections with local vendors (carpet, flooring, cabinetry, etc.). They treat their clients like family! They can do it all and more efficiently than larger businesses! Stop looking for a contractor and hire Russell Renovations now! You should also save your money for add ons -- once you see their outstanding work you are going to want them to do more!

    Perkins Home Improvement
I never paid a contractor money for work that I could figure out myself so I decided that because of the extensive structural changes needed in my remodel I would go to Angies list. I read all of the reviews and Perkins Home Imp were so good that I asked the man when I met him if he wrote them himself. All I can say is that I took a flier on him just because he was very businesslike, punctual and seemed like a really good man. Well all I can say is that Perkins Home Improvement went above and beyond all my expectations . Chris and his crew are the best and my kitchen looks like it came out of Better Homes and Gardens and would highly recommend them. They were very responsive to our needs and anything we asked of them they did without a song and a dance. We would definitely hire him again and would not hesitate referring them to our friends and family !

    Vincent's Handyman Service
We were finally re-doing our kitchen and bathroom which we were very excited about. However, this experience was far from pleasant. Before the granite countertops could be installed, the sinks had to be removed. He uninstalled the sinks for both the kitch and the bathrooms. The very next day our ceiling was leaking through our kitchen (our upstairs bathroom is right above the kitchen) I called him and he sent someone to fix the problem the next day. However, it left a stain on our kitchen ceiling which he said he would fix- never did and the stain is STILL  on our kitchen ceiling. He also installed wooden corbels and said he would finish them at a later date but did not finish staining them or properly installing them (they are not properly installed on the island).
A few weeks after installing the countertops he installed the backsplash and said he would come back in a couple days to finish the rest of his work. He never did. I called him multiple times and he never called back or answered. I couldn't even leave a voicemail because his voicemail box was full!
We also had to remove our cupboard above our stove to install a microwave. We also had to install lighting fixtures in the kitchen that were ordered. We also had to fix our backdoor. We also had to paint our bathrooms. Mr. Vincent knew about all of these projects when we first met with him.
Very unprofessional to leave a job unfinished and not respond to your customers. If he was "too busy" to finish his work he should have at least informed us and finished what he started- the wooden corbels.
Not to mention the work he did do for us, we experienced similar situations where he would not answer his phone for weeks at a time and not let us know when he was returning.

    Handyman Extraordinaire
I had Mike do a variety of things for me around the house. Including putting a handrail in my two story home, build and install steps, and buy and hang a door. I have used his services several times and will use him again should the need arise. I highly recommend him.

    Sunroom Additions & Improvements, Inc.

We were originally told the work would be done before the end of April 2015, then we were told the work would be done by mid May 2015 but wasn't actually done until July 2015. The left a gap of nearly two inches between the bottom of the door and the ground.  Every time I called about the gap I was told someone would be out any day to take care of it.

I was told the materials used were nearly indestructible but one of the door panels ripped during the heavy snows & winds in October 2015. I have been trying to get someone to come out and replace the door panel since April 2016 and again, I keep getting the run around,   I'm told we're "on the list" and that "someone will be out soon".  The after-service has been terrible, really non-existent.  I couldn't recommend them in good conscious, although I do love my sunroom.  I'm very embarrassed about the tear in the door panel and reluctant to ask anyone over for a barbecue because of it.

    Comfort Windows & Doors

This was obviously a very large job. I chose Comfort Windows and Doors because they are a local company that does not subcontract out their work. The men who worked on my home arrived every day they were expected on time. They were friendly, professional and trustworthy. I believe the windows and doors I purchased are top quality, they are easy to clean and everyone has commented on how nice they look. I opted to do all of the installation of my doors and windows to be done from a rough opening due to the age and condition of the windows that were in the home originally, this did add to the cost but my windows are installed and insulated correctly I have brand new window sills and everything looks great. I noticed an immediate difference in the temperature of the house and I know that National Fuel will be receiving much less of my hard earned money this winter. I plan on residing my garage and house, I am also going to have a new roof put on my garage in the near future and I will definitely will use Comfort Windows and Doors. They did an excellent job and I couldn't be more pleased. I love a good deal as much as anyone but it is important to remember you get what you pay for.

Fantastic service. We met Chuck the owner at the Buffalo home show, and scheduled an estimate for a new vinyl sliding door with built in blinds, as well as 3 windows. All where full tear outs, with new insulation blown. They had to return the next day to stain all of the new window casings. And they also 'pushed' the windows out with extension jambs giving us window sills as well.Really can't say enough. They were fantastic, very professional, and neat in all their work including hall away of old materials.

The experience I had with this company was ideal. The installer arrived on time and finished much quicker than I would have imagined. I would definitely recommend this company if you're looking for an insulated garage door.

Home Depot did not impress us on any level from start to finish. We had numerous problems from the start. Home Depot had a contractor come out to measure and then Home Depot ordered the wrong size door, which we were told needed to be a fire door and later found out we didn't. The fire doors happen to be more expensive. When a sales associate from the millwork department at Home Depot called to inform us that they ordered the wrong door we were told the new door would be special order and would cost us more money. I called a couple of times to see when our doors would be in and was given a specific date. We were in the store after the date given and we inquired once again about our doors. We were then told that the installer refused the door because it was damaged and they were waiting on a transfer. Finally, the doors arrived and we set up an install date. The installer arrived and did a fine job on one entry and storm door, but once again Home Depot ordered one wrong door!
