WOW! What you would say if you saw my bathroom. Watching my new bathroom materialize was so exciting. He was there for every step to insure a quality product. I did not have to worry because Chuck was on top of everything. There were no surprises and everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend Chuck to my friends and even my relatives.

Mark did a number of jobs the day he was with us. We usually have a long list to be done on our 1920s built house. Most challenging was the repair of the portion of an interior stucco wall which had been turned to mush by a broken steam valve. He repaired the wall and matched almost perfectly the look of the stucco.

The painter was subcontracted to by my contractor, Elite Kitchen and Bath, so I paid the contractor directly. He charged me about $7000.00 for the relatively small jobs and charged another $2000.00 for materials. The basement consisted of walls and trim, the kitchen had just a small amount of wall space, a little trim and ceiling. The laundry room had a small area of wall and ceiling. Outside painting involved entrance door, storm door, garage door, and a few pieces of trim which were replaced due to rot. The only materials could have been paint, and at $2000. it would have amounted to about forty gallons. If four or five gallons were needed it would be a lot. The paint job inside is sloppy and unprofessional. No sanding or filling in of irregularities was done. The guys simply slapped a coat of paint on everything, including those areas which needed some spackling and sanding. The contractor's comment when I complained was that they were there to paint, not "repair". Well, wrong. A good painter, especially when you are paying a premium for a job, does the spackling and sanding prior to painting, or why bother painting at all? They also got paint on the floors, doorknobs, window handles, window screens and/or glass, and more. I am still scraping paint after a few months past the job. There are a few areas on the ceiling in the kitchen which were not painted, and you can see where they missed those spots. The little bit of trim and a couple of doors outside were okay, although they did get some brown paint on my white trim. When I put a call into the painter ( three times) and left a message asking for the color and brand of the ceiling paint used, I was ignored. No response. I have had many painters over the years, and a few of them might not have been as professional as others, but this one wins the gold ring for the worst I could imagine.

Mark came earlier than he had said and got right down to work. Did meticulous prep work for the painting. All other work done was highly satisfactory. This is all stuff that I didn't want to do myself. It's a pleasure having someone like Mark in my home. His final words to us were, call if there's a problem. We don't expect there to be, but I don't doubt his sincerity in extending that offer.

Excellent. They did a great job spackeing and it is one reason I picked them. He worked on a wall that had water damage and was buckled. He was very kind, courteous, and helped move some of the furniture out.

Professional service and job well done. They came out to do an initial assessment before the actual paint job. On the day of the job they were punctual, professional and prompt. The job was done well. The two man crew were friendly and courteous. I would use them again, and recommend their services.

The design stage took the longest.  I worked with Delores from start to finish.  I worked with her on design from January until May.  Sal came and measured and Delores worked tirelessly with me on every detail.  The only piece of the job that was outsourced was the moving of air conditioning duct work. We picked out each and every detail together. She never ran out of ideas or solutions.  I used a semi-custom cabinet company that allowed me to save when I could use standard size cabinets and gave me the flexibility to create custom cabinets where needed.
She pointed out that instead of spending 5000 on a custom cabinet to house my existing oversized microwave, I could purchase a microwave/warming drawer combo and standard cabinet  for a total of 2500.  We must have done at least 15 configurations and layouts before we settled. In the end, I did not have to compromise on anything I wanted - including the pull out spice racks that posed as decorative columns on either side of my cooktop.  We then picked out granite, backsplash tiles and kitchen flooring. She worked with me to allow me to create my own design for the cooktop backsplash.
I went with high end appliances. I shopped around and got the best deal on appliances through their source.  I searched all of NY state and the internet for the perfect accent lighting and ended up finding the perfect lights from her source at her designer discount. Knob and pulls were another huge project which she helped me research and when I found what I wanted from my own source, she congratulated me on my great find and moved on to the next item on her checklist.  We picked out sinks, faucets, garbage disposals, and instant hot water spout. She had an endless supply of design knowledge and resources. Even as we got down to the final decisions, like paint colors and grout colors for between the tiles, she took the same care and effort to make sure each detail would be perfect.
We created a custom fireplace in the livingroom made from the same wood as my kitchen cabinets and the most beautiful marble.  Marble and granite were purchased from her source and they were a pleasure to work with. When I had a problem with a scratch in the granite, they worked with the provider to fix it.
Before the project began, I received and signed off on a very detailed estimate. We knew down to the dollar what the project would cost. And it ended up running almost exactly as they estimated.  The only glitch was that when the floors were taken up and the rooms were merged into one, they noticed that there was a need for a building up of the floor in the living room.  1500 was the only unforeseen cost in the entire project.
I had 2 small children and was very afraid of the actual work getting done. I have one child with severe allergies and was very afraid of the mess and the dust. They put up heavy plastic barriers which did a decent job of keeping the other areas of the house clean.  I was told that the entire renovation would take 6 weeks.  I was skeptical, but their team came in and they had all the contractors on staff. We never had to wait for a plumber to move a gas or waterline, they had their own.  We had a one week delay when my Brazilian teak for the living room/dining room got caught up in customs, but I had a working kitchen as promised on the specified date. Last minute decisions, like a new back door, were seamlessly worked into the project plan.
The workmen were kind, courteous and respectful.  They were appreciative of simple gestures like donuts and lemonade.  Any question as to how something should be done, was run by me.  They never assumed and never just took the path of least resistance.

My sofa has a broken spring, and I was wondering if it would be worth fixing (as we have two dogs). Alex was very pleasant and knowledgeable to speak with on the phone. He had a job that day not far from our home, and offered to swing by to take a look. He gave us an estimate, and spent a few minutes speaking with us about the sofa. We are still thinking about whether we want to fix it or just replace it. If we decide to have it fixed, Alex @ Rosini and Sons will be our first call! Thank you Alex for the attentive and honest service! We really appreciate it!

This was an excellent job. The ceiling looks better than it ever did. Ray is a meticulous worker who minimized the mess and cleaned up everything afterwards.
