    The car had low mileage, 10,000 miles. The fact that they claim that I needed new front brakes, and it was not under warranty. I strongly believe they overpriced the job. I had to pay over $700 dollars. Its excessive for an brake job.

    Competition Subaru of Smithtown
    Subaru repaired a vent in the Dash Board on the passenger side.  Repairs were made while I waited and were covered under the new vehicle warranty.  My only problem was that the service group kept calling my home and cell phone sometimes twice a day to tell me that the parts were in and that they wanted to setup an appointment to install the new part.  When I called the service group back all I ever got was a recording to leave my name and number.  I never did get a LIVE PERSON until I left my name and telephone number and waited for the call back from the Subaru Service group!!  Its seems like everything runs at Subaru's convenience when it comes to service!!

    didn't know if tires needed to be rotated at 5000 miles but service provider strongly recommended it. Checked a/c and they showed me it was running correctly  waited for car an it took longer than expected. Waiting area wasn't the most comfortable I have been in

    They have been doing excellent work. Prices are a little bit on the high side but since I'm getting good service I think it's worth it. The quality of their service is good. They are topnotch in responsiveness. I am more than satisfied with the service I'm getting.

    In 2010 I had a headlight replaced at Pep Boys in Lake Grove, approximately 1/4 mile from the Smith Haven Mall. The replacement went quite uneventfully. A week later, another headlight went out. I could not remember with certainty which of the two headlights was replaced, so I looked at my receipt. The receipt did not indicate whether it was the left or the right that was replaced. So, I went back to the place in person and enquired. The man I spoke with, an elderly gentleman named "Patrick", looked through the records to try to discover which headlight bulb had been replaced. His record showed no accurate accounting: the database only showed "headlight bulb replaced," and did not in any way indicate which was replaced. "Patrick" obviously wanted to treat this failure dismissively, and he advised that I allow them to determine for themselves which had been replaced, without ever acknowledging that theirs was a very obvious error. This carelessness about auto repair is not what one expects from a place like Pep Boys!!! When leaving (on the day of the enquiry), I simply said, "Okay" and began to leave, and Mr. "Patrick" treated me as belligerent. I was simply not going to either argue nor was I going to accept their shoddiness. I should not be denied a detailed record of my service, nor should I be treated as a belligerent, disagreeable person when I decline to accept shoddiness. I give this Pep Boys an F rating, and I will NEVER return there!

    This is the second bad experience with them. They are unresponsive and not customer service oriented, although they claim to be. We try to give business to small local merchants, but will NEVER use this station again. The car was towed to them the night before, they never called us in the morning, although we left a message. They told us it could be as simple as needing a starter to the possibility we'd might need a new electrical system. We had to follow up with them throughout the day. They ended up charging $290.53 without fixing the problem. We went to another mechanic, who diagnosis took less than 10 minutes. It was a simple issue of a fuse not firing which was causing the car engine not to turn over. Fifteen minutes and $60 later we had a car back and running smoothly. We have not had another issue yet. Fidelis doesn't know the first thing about servicing a customer and they will never have our business again. Hopefully we can spare someone else from this shop.

    The work that they did was good but the service people over there weren���t very good. I would tell people to use their services but to be very upfront with them about your expectations. The manager called me and resolved everything. So in that sense it was good, but I wasted a lot of time dealing with them. I would use their services in the future too since I bought my car from them and it���s under warranty. So I have no other choice.

    He is friendly and recognizes me. He gives me a lot of information. He is helpful and doesn't try to sell me anything that I don't need. He is trustworthy. I go there because at other places it seems like there is one mechanic and the next day another, and they don't know me and I don't know them and what kind of job they are going to do on my vehicle. Anthony is always here and running things even though there are others that work for him.

    Cadillac is one of those places where you get what you pay for. You get a more expensive car, and you get a place that will take care of you. I will only send my car to them because I am comfortable doing that. They treat me right. They treat my car right and they are very accommodating.
