    Geek Squad - Best Buy
Hard to know where to begin. I bought a Frigidaire dishwasher on line from Best Seemed like a very nice unit for the first 3 uses. Then something seemed to be wrong with the door and bottom pan. Loud banging upon closing door. Called Best Buy who told me to call A&E. First question from A&E was "which Sears or Walmart did you buy the dishwasher from?" After 1 hour on the phone I somehow got them to send a service tech out. Service guy comes out and promptly declares "what a piece of junk!" Nice to hear after spending over $800 on what I thought was a nice unit. His 2nd question was "so which Sears store did you buy this from?" After removing the door inside panel he says the insulation was glued in so poorly (because Frigidaire has such bad quality control) that it was binding in the door hinge. He orders a new door panel. It arrives 2 weeks later. A&E sends out a second tech. This guy tells me right off that I bought a piece of crap. I feel so much better now. He takes apart the door and declares "the last tech didn't know what he was doing and there is nothing wrong with the unit." He installs the new door liner and leaves. These two techs have now dented the outside of the door and the inside bottom pan. My wife and I load the dishwasher up and run a cycle. After opening up the door to remove the dishes I notice a 8" long piece of gasket material on the floor under the dishwasher. Called A&E again who of course wants me to tell them which Sears/Walmart etc. I said I don't want either of those techs to come back and and I would like to talk to a manager. She told me I can not talk to a manager. I asked her politely 3 more times and she flat out said "NO". Sent me to Sedgwick claims department who wanted to know did I buy it from Sears or Walmart?! I finally gave up, it seems to be working. I would never recommend buying from any store that uses A&E Factory Service.

    Bill's Appliance Repair
Mike was fantastic! He was timely, knew exactly what was wrong with both appliances and fixed them quickly. He even swept and swiffered behind my fridge for me! I would definitely recommend this company.

    Bill's Appliance Repair
He was very good. He came in and tried to fix it and when he could not fix it, he recommended exactly what we should replace it with. We took the old one out and replaced it with the one we got. We saved a lot of money by replacing it- repairing it would have cost a lot of money. He is very competent and has a lot of know how. In the past we have had him repair a washing machine and he did a very good job.

    Bill's Appliance Repair
Bill's son came to do the repair. was very knowledgeable and polite. He found that the tabs that hold the tub up had bent under the weight of the water and clothes while doing a load at the maximum load setting. The frame was not strong enough to hold a maximum load that it should have been able to handle. Instead of ordering and charging me for a new, expensive, tub holder, he simply bent the tabs back into place, and told me not to use the maximum load setting any more because most washers can't handle the weight. He charged me only for the house call and saved me hundreds of dollars.

    Bill's Appliance Repair
Mike showed up right on time, installed the splash guard components, inspected the unit and provided some recommendations that have been implemented. Since then the dishwasher has been working perfectly.

I am quite sure the problem is fixed. He removed the ice build-up, made changes to the drain system and showed me how to check to see if problems were reoccurring.
When I called I noted to the receptionist that I was temporarily disabled and VERY dependent on my freezer. She made sure I had service on the same day I called. Many thanks to H L Snyder!!

Jeff Lowe Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning
We met with Fred from Lowe's to discuss and then arrange for the work to be done. They broke down everything as we asked about different things such as the central AC, humidifier and air purifier not knowing what exactly we were going to do. They did this for 2 different systems. They had to set up for asbestos abatement as the old furnace and duct work was wrapped in asbestos tape. The company they hired for that was excellent.
I found each of the workers to be polite, friendly and most willing to explain things to me. We had some delay due to weather holding them up in setting up the condenser for the AC. We have used them in the past for minor things and I would not hesitate to use them in the future for any large or small job.
I really can't say if they were the cheapest, middle or most expensive. I called 3 other didn't even have an answering machine and I was not willing to trust such an expensive endeavor to them, The others wanted nothing to do with the asbestos saying there wasn't any company in the area who did that. Obviously there is.
    I highly recommend Lowe's.

    Bill's Appliance Repair
The Whirlpool washer wouldn't start when the on-button was pressed and so it immediately turned off. Using the manual I tried to troubleshoot the problem but couldn't resolve anything. Made an appointment with Bill's Appliance Repair and he was able to send someone within the week. The repairman reset the code and temperature sensor and there have been no problems since he was here. I was very pleased with the rapid results and would use Bill's repair at any time in the future.

    Earl B Feiden Appliance
Called Earl Feiden this morning and the problem was fixed this afternoon. Plus helpful advice on future problems (NOT including "don't take it apart if you can't put it back together," I figure I will get that advice separately when my wife gets home.)  I will definitely call Earl Feiden again.

    Earl B Feiden Appliance
My washing machine did not work. I didn't know how old it was, as It came with the home I purchased in 2006.  I called Freiden and  made an appointment.  The initial service charge would be $95.00.  When I made the appointment, the clerk told me I would get a call in the morning from the Tech who would tell me what time to expect him.  I received a call in the morning.  He showed up on time and looked at the machine.  He told me the unit was over 20 years old, but that he would replace a few parts, for another $90 or so, and that the machine would work fine after that.  I did get a call a few days later, telling me that the parts were in and the repairman would be here the next day.  Again I received a call in the morning telling me what time to expect him.  He came, he fixed, I am a happy camper!

Considering the age of the machine, I was surprised when the tech told me that it was one of the better built units, and would be  worth the cost of repair instead of replacing with a new model (which I certainly cannot afford). I am very happy with the result and thought the price was well worth it.
