He was fine. He could never figure out what exactly what was wrong with my knee. He treated what he could and it hasn't me bothered me since then. He is considered for sports medicine. I'm much better than I was.

    Klein, Dr. Bruce P.
My husband blew out his knee playing soccer several years ago but didn't get medical treatment at that time. He had been suffering from bouts of knee pain that went away when he wiggled his leg (torn miniscus) but he put off seeing a Doctor until working on a ladder for a few days sent his knee over the edge. Went to our PCP and she said he needed an Orthopedist. She recommended the practice (Canadaigua Orthopaedic Associates) because of her past interactions with them as referring physician and patient. My sister had ACL repair surgery done by Dr. Klein about 20 years ago and highly recommended him. Everyone at the practice was very friendly and helpful. They are the most prompt doctor's office we have ever been to (we have yet to wait more than 10 minutes to see a doctor after entering). Dr. Klein is extremely friendly and clearly spelled out for us what my husband's injuries were and what treatment options he had. It is not exaggeration to say he has the best bedside manner of any doctor we've met . He wasn't pushing one treatment option over another, just gave us the info we needed and told my husband to think it over and let them know what he decided. My husband was able to speak to his PA when he called the office 2 days later with more questions. When he decided on the treatment he wanted Dr. Klein met with us again to go over what would be the procedure for the surgery as well as the steps he needed to take afterwards in order to make a full recovery. The day of the surgery he came out to talk with us before my husband was even admitted to see if we had any other questions or concerns. Dr. Klein checked on my husband several times while he was in the post-surgical recovery area and helped me clear up a billing/insurance error that had delayed a piece of medical equipment my husband needed post-surgery. We have nothing but good things to say about this doctor.

I have a problem with my knee and had a huge flair up. Dr. Silver examine it, had me x rayed and reviewed the results with me, comparing them with x rays taken last April. He didn't suggest knee surgery, but told me to continue exercising and do what I am already doing, since my knee improved greatly since the flair up. He was very nice and answered any questions.

    Peck, Dr. Bradley K.
After wrenching my knee badly going down the basement stairs I went to my doctor and she recommended I see an orthopedic specialist to rule out permanent injury. I called the practice my husband went to for his knee surgery. The doctor with the earliest available appointment was Dr. Peck. I got hurt on Thursday, saw my PCP Friday and went to Dr. Peck's office Tuesday. Everyone at the practice was great (No waiting!) and Dr. Peck was very personable and knowledgeable during my appointment. After doing a physical exam he was able to rule out major injury, and offered to write me a script for physical therapy to help with my recovery. When I asked him if it was possible to just do some therapy exercises at home he prepared me a list of things to work on and told me to call him if I felt any worse or had any concerns. I was very impressed that he didn't just send me off for a battery of tests straightaway. It was nice to have a doctor do a real physical exam and not just send you off to lose a day of your life waiting for scans and tests at the hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Peck and his practice.

    Kircher, Dr. Mark T.
Right from the start I was not impressed.  When he came in, he opened up my folder and said that he saw I was having a problem with the left knee...and I had to point out to him that the right knee was the problem.  Then he went into a spiel about his own problems and told me I had "to redefine myself and adjust my lifestyle".  As I am an avid hiker, I found this unacceptable, but he appeared to not have much more to offer...I couls continue shots, but not to expect to continue wuth the type of activity I was used to.  I happened to be heading over to AAA for some travel info right after that and the agent mentioned she was about to have knee surgery.  It seems one doctor had said she "had to redefine herself and adjust her lifestyle".  Guess who? Someone she knew recommended someone else to her and a more aggressive approach was taken.  I have since learned of at least two other women who heard the same from him. I went to the doctor the above agent was seeing and was sent immediately to an excellent physical therapist, encouraged to hike to keep the uscles strong, and receive injections on as "as need" basis.  I have hiked throughout Patagonia, and the Catskills and Adirondack High Peaks in New York since then. Thank God I went elsewhere!  (To his credit...most men I know of who have gone to him have only praise for him)  I did let his PA Chris know  I wouldn't be back and why.
