    Wymer, Dr. James P.
Dr. Wymer is friendly and up-beat. He's very knowledgable about Multiple Sclerosis and new treatments. He personally called me with the results of my MRI but I wasn't home so he personally called back later. When I mentioned to him on the phone that I was having trouble with my insurance covering one of my medications he said he would check into it. Later that day his secretary called me back to say that she contacted the insurance company and they would be getting back to me in a few days. A few days later both Dr. Wymer's office and my insurance company called me to say that the medication would be covered. His secretary isn't always easy to get ahold of but Dr. Wymer is worth any frustration there. Fortunately there is other staff in the office that can schedule appointments and handle most tasks.

    Edwards, Dr. Keith R.
The doctor took the time to patiently answer questions and even provided a teaching moment to explain medical terminology. I was impressed with his knowledge and the degree of interest in his specialty. It also appears that his office is a leading research office for MS.

    Edwards, Dr. Keith R.
After suffering with debilitating migraines for years and seeing six neurologists over the course of a year or so - all to no avail - I finally met Dr. Edwards. He treated me with respect and spent all the time he needed to get a picture of what was causing my headaches, no bums rush like I got from so many other doctors. He started treatment right away and I immediately began to improve. Before I met Dr. Edwards there was talk of me being permanently disabled. I am on a course of treatment now that allows me to function normally and I rarely need to take interventional medicine. My life is significantly better!

    Ellis Hospital
They are excellent and I find a number of doctors to be excellent. They have a satellite office in Clifton Park which is a brand new facility and one in Schenectady and they are both equally terrific. His experience with them has been excellent and there are no complaints. They are excellent doctors who are very patient oriented. They always ask what his questions are and are very thorough. They are a great group. They check out if everything is fine such as they thought he might be having a stroke during the whole process which he did not but they also did not take any chances. Using the Clifton Park facility first since it is not a big hospital worked wonderfully. There was no long waiting when I believed there was something major going on and they took him right in and were very responsive.

    The Neurology Group LLP
Granted we have had some communication issues in the past but the staff has worked very hard to get on the same page with us and my mothers care. So much so that we have stopped out search for an alternate practice, once we were able to discuss our issues with Dr. Corbett directly everything got on track very quickly. A good man who I believe really cares. Sincerely, John Corey

    Eugene Kaplan MD,FIPP,DABIPP,MPH
During my time as a patient, I only saw Dr. Kaplan for my inital appointment and for injections.  Jeffrey, his PA, was helpful, but did not have the same overall knowledge as Dr. Kaplan.  Dr. Kaplan's solution to my high level of pain was high doses of medicationo and numerous injections into my spine, neck and shoulders.  Though the injections did help the pain level, they did not take away the daily headaches that I have been experiencing.

    Tang, Dr. Kejian
He was unable to resolve the problem.  He couldn't diagnose it.  The medical condition remains elusive.  I will never go to Dr. Tang, again.

    Edwards, Dr. Keith R.
.Dr. Edwards treats migraines with botox injections, which are a focus of his research. If botox does not work for you (and it does not work for everyone, unfortunately), he has no longer has any interest in your case (or you as a patient). After his office refused to refill my triptan medication following two separate calls over a 3-month period from my drugstore, I finally ran out of medication during a three-day episodic attack. (A triptan is a standard migraine rescue medication, NOT a controlled substance or anything addictive or abuse-causing.) I did try to contact his office during this period, but because he practices in 3 states, his office hours in each location are very limited and it can be very difficult to actually reach a person instead of a machine. During my 3-day attack, I called in after-hours (for the first and only time) to ask for a refill. When I asked Dr. Edwards why the drugstore's requests were denied, he said the office gets a lot of calls each day. When I said that I didn't understand how it could happen twice, he burst out, and quot;Cut the crap. I was in the office for two hours today filling out paperwork. If you don't like it, find another doctor.and quot; Oh, I will, Dr. Edwards. And I hope others do too. Two hours of paperwork? I only wish I could spend two hours of a weekend on paperwork, instead of spending 36 hours lying in bed with my head bursting.
