    C&G Restorations
Guy, Operational Manager and Al, Sr. Field Supervisor did a great job on my remediation project that was needed as a result of water damage in my attic. Within minutes of my call to his company, Guy responded and scheduled an appointment for a visual inspection. As he went about the inspection he explained the process and clearly communicated his observations and recommendations on what was needed to be done to resolve the issue. He also gave me some helpful advice and consciously responded to my questions and concerns. Following the inspection, Guy emailed me for my review a proposal with detailed tasks and time frame for the project. This also included work guarantee, EPA certification, license and insurance. I did not feel rushed into making a decision as he allowed me time to discuss the project with my family. Overall, I found Guy to be responsive, cordial, communicative and thorough, an expert in his field. I also appreciate the fact that he was timely and respected my schedule. The price was much more reasonable compared to that of other specialists. I highly recommend the professional and well organized team of Guy and Al.

    DUR-ALL Environmental Inc
I found DUR-ALL ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. on Angie's List. It was the most highly recommended asbestos removal firm doing business in the area. In late April 2018 I called the number and gave the necessary information to the answering service. Richard Mucelli returned my call within two hours and set up the appointment for the job estimate. On the day of the estimate he was running a little late so he phoned me a half hour in advance to let me know. When he arrived he quickly assessed the job and gave me his estimate. I quickly accepted his offer and he scheduled the appointment for the work to be done. He and his crew arrived early on the appointed day and quickly and quietly removed the asbestos then painted the steam pipes. Upon inspection, my brother was happy to pay the bill. They did an excellent job at a fair price and took all the debris with them when they left. The entire experience was good. I would be happy to recommend Richard Mucelli and DUR-ALL ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. to anyone who values excellent work at a fair price with a professional attitude maintained throughout.

    Precise Home Inspections, LLC
We were very happy with both services and highly recommend Precise Home Inspections. They gave us detailed info on the home we were purchasing and communicated any major concerns/issues so that we could make an informed decision on our purchase and we were happy with the results.

    Gotham Builders of New York
I had previously been stood up for an appointment with another contractor, but working with Gotham Builders was much more organized and professional from the initial phone conversation with the lady at the office (sorry for not having her name handy!). Jay the lead contractor was an extremely good communicator, and showed a lot of flexibility in dealing with the particular situation of my family. I trusted in Jay's word from the get go due to his overt professionalism. He was able to properly assess the situation from day one, and start work very soon afterwards. Having demolished the moldy wall, we found that a few electrical lines and bits of plumbing in the basement were rusty and needed replacement. We were informed of this, gave approval, and this too was quickly remedied. In total the job consisted of Basement Waterproofing, Interior Demolition, Reframing, New Electrical, New Plumbing, Insulation, Interior Sheet Rock and New Windows, and the project was completed over the course of a long weekend, and the weekend immediately afterwards. Throughout this process Jay would send photos so we could understand the situation in full (my family and I was unable to be present during the work process). To be honest, I can't imagine having a more positive experience with a contractor. I would highly recommend working with them, it is absolutely worth the money for the peace of mind, thoroughness and consideration.

    Symbiat Inc.
Excellent experience, from assessment/estimate through abatement process. Chris was complete in assessment of asbestos/pipe insulation in the basement. Crew was polite, considerate, efficient in removing the pipe insulation, following procedures to ensure there were no problems with contamination, and cleaning up after their work. Everything was done on time and with minimal hassle.

    Gotham Builders of New York
Gotham came out within 24 hours gave my husband and I a verbal consultation explaining the problem and what need to be done. They helped us to understand what the process would be and the time frame of the job. They put everything on a legal contract in detail along with a excellent price we was shopping for a good price and quality professional and they came in the best. It has been a few months that the job was completed and I'm very happy with the job no more water in my basement. We plan to use Gotham Builders to finish our basement this up coming year

    A-plus Environmental
Everything went as planned. Junior did a pre site survey the same day I called him. He arranged to have one of his workers to come do the job. They were on time, professional and cleaned up the worksite when finished. The price was very fair for a small job.

    All Dry NY
I used All Dry NY when I had waste water back up into my basement through the shower. Martin came right away to my house and took the time to explain to me the process and the machines he was using. He was extremely knowledgeable which made me feel confident that I chose the right company for the job. I hope I never suffer another disaster like this again but if I do I know All Dry will be my first call.

    C&G Restorations
Mr. Reed violated the contract and also damaged and removed areas of wood(basement windows) and removed my staircase platform and its preceding step in my residence without my permission nor were they specified for removal in the contact for removal. I was explicit verbally to Mr. Reed also in conversations about what wood was to be removed in my basement a few days before the mold remediation. We stood physically in the basement and he pointed out the areas he would be removing mold from. He assured me that only SHEETROCK REMAINS and LOWER-COMPRISED WOOD STUDS would be removed. Also in the contract it stated sheetrock and lower-comprised wood studs would be removed and the staircase would be washed and disinfected. At no time was removing my staircase platform or preceding step discussed with me nor agreed to. When he finished the mold remediation he insisted I not enter the residence until the post mold test was done which was another day and a half away. He never told me he had removed the staircase's and preceding step. Also he did not tell me that he had cut the sill of one of my windows, it was done crookedly, andthat he removed the interior wood and sill of another window. Also he did not tell me that my metal drop ceiling had been damaged and was hanging down. He also did not remove a lot of nails sticking up out of the floor and sides of wood. Also 3 garbage bags of paper were not removed. On my first floor and top floor the post tester and I discovered debris in my sinks' drains and my tub drain when she arrived. Also window sills were dirty and had not been cleaned. All rooms were to be washed and chemically treated to rid them of mold. My plumber had cleaned my kitchen sink drain a few days before and checked other drains since Mr. Reed needed water to wash walls, and ceilings. Mr. Reed read my pre-testers air report and also did a walk-through to search for mold. He was not thorough and did not find mold under the kitchen sink which was a room area the pre- tester had stated had high mold levels. I had a plumber check my sinks a few days before Mr Reed did the mold remediation and he pointed out the mold in the cabinet and then I told Mr. Reed and he added this area to the mold remediation. Also, I had a room with paper on the floor about two feet. I told him I would remove it but he did not want me in the apartment due to high mold levels so he added removing paper and bagging it to the contract. However he did not clean this room to the last day of the mold remediation and then noticed there was mold on the wall above the desk about three feet above) and on the top of the ceiling above the desk and water damage on the ceiling. At that time he stated he would not do a mold remediation on this area until the source of the leak was found and therefore compromised this room and the room above exposing it to mold. When the three floors were tested for mold two days later this room and the room above it still had high mold levels. The mold tester could not believe that he did not see or remediate this room with exposed mold on the wall and ceiling! I contacted a lawyer who read the contract and he stated that C&G Remediation violated the contract since the contract specifies what wood removal was to be done .He contacted Mr. Reed about this and Mr. Reed responded and made made false statements , for example he stated that the contract gave him the right to remove ALL LOWER COMPRISED WOOD even though it states only lower comprised WOOD STUDS! My lawyer told him that he was only allowed to removed sheetrock and lower-comprised wood studs! My lawyer has tried to seek a resolution of this matter but Mr. Reed has refused to compensate me in any manner. Therefore further legal action will be pursued and Mr. Reed will HAVE TO COME TO COURT! .Mr. Reed was hired to make my home have acceptable mold levels but he did not succeed! He stated to me that the room with mold was not stated in the contract to be remediated! However, it is his job to find any mold present and remediate it! He made excuses and lied that there was too much paper for him to see the mold( I believe he said 5 feet, which is a lie!) The contracts states he was to bag and remove all paper so therefore it was his job to remove before he examined the room! He sent me only three photos prior to the remediation and only one of the staircase(a back view) He sent my lawyer about 5 photos of staircases' that looked like they were in the process of demolition He told me he was working on vacant homes in Long Island these are probably their photos! He then stated that my staircase was collapsing! My plumber and other workers used this staircase a few days prior to the mold remediation and will confirm that the platform was functional and not collapsing! His worker know he was not suppose to remove any wood from the staircase. One day he told me the step after the platform was weak and thought it was dangerous to use. I gave him permission to only remove this step. Mr. Reed had not arrived yet that day. Mr. Reed stated he was available every day to consult with me about what he was going to do and did so. He came everyday but many times it was later in the day, and was not present a lot of times to supervise his workers . If he was available and consulted with me every day. How come he never told me of his plan to remove my staircase platform and preceding step.??How come he did not tell me that he was cutting and removing wood from my windows. He stated he left a paper sign on the top of the staircase stating he had removed bottom of staircase. However my basement did not have lights and this paper sign could not be seen and I did not see it and fell when I tried to descend it the day of the post air test. Who leaves a work site and does not tell the owner that he has removed the bottom of the staircase???? Mr. Reed did not want me to enter the premises when he finished. He stated that if I did it would contaminate the rooms and would affect post air test results. The post stated this was not true. It is obvious he did not want to be present when I discovered he had removed the lower portion of my staircase and other damage which I have described!! His actions are truly UNPROFESSONAL!
