Glass Repair reviews in Jamaica

  • Alberto is a true professional. He always called 30 minutes before his arrival to tell me he was on his way. He worked fast and knew his stuff. I will definitely keep their number and recommend them to anyone needing window or screen work done. They also made two glass replacement panes for me.

  • He was excellent. He came and gave me an estimate and was not pushy. We told him we wanted to shop around and he said that was fine and to take our time. We felt very comfortable with going with him because of this. He came back and did the job and did an excellent job. He cleaned up after the job was done and we couldn't be more pleased. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

  • Excellent communication. Professional & clean installation. Make sure to ask for the Diamond Fusion application to repel water and prevent buildup on glass. Its worth the extra expense and it lasts up to 4 years.

  • I was very impressed by the speed and quality of their work; I was told the job would be done in 6-7 days and that's exactly how it went. There were a couple of hiccups: the exhaust fan they provided was for me too noisy (1.3 sones) and I had to replace it (0.3 sones); the LED light fixture I bought which they installed for me made a constant humming sound after installation which I'm told may have been the result of an incompatible switch so I had to replace it as well (Note: to anyone planning to install new LED lighting, ensure your switch is compatible before you turn on the light). But I think overall Majors Homes is hard to beat. Budd Shamroth is a master contractor, organized, detail-oriented, a problem-solver. Anthony Belmonte and his assistant (Wally?) did all of the carpentry & tile work and it is beautiful. One look and you know it was very well thought out, not thrown together. Anthony and his assistant are truly artists. Everyone on site, including the demo crew, was respectful of me & my home. Hire these people!!

  • Just when I thought I had a feel for the width of my car, a bus proved me wrong. Thankfully, my passenger side mirror flipped inward on its hinge without breaking the housing, but the glass of the mirror was shattered. I called Accurate Auto Glass on Monday morning to get some information about replacing the mirror. They had the mirror in stock for my car (2004 Kia Optima) in both heated and non-heated mirror varieites. They were very polite and informative over the phone, and quoted me a price for the mirror and installation. They said I didn't need to make an appointment; I could just stop by. I was in and out in about 10 minutes, and they charged me exactly the quoted price.

  • During the process, I had to wait on them and call them on several occasions for them to start working. After they installed the windows, they demanded payment immediately. I said I didn't know I had to pay them immediately. I signed paperwork on December 30th that I would pay them on January 7th by check. I was then reviewing my credit card statement and realized that they had charged by card for the amount on December 30th. They had my card on file due to a deposit I made on the windows, but intended on paying for everything with a check. I made an agreement to pay them on a specified date and they went ahead and charged my card. I have asked them to refund the charge and let me pay by check and they refuse. The work they did was fine, but I feel they were unethical when they charged my card without me knowing.

  • He is a good man. He is very good. The price was good. The quality of the work was absolutely correct. He cut the glass immediately. He was very good to us. He was nice and respectful. He said the right words and he was obliging. We would absolutely use him again.

  • They were down to earth and a pleasure to do business with. We called the week before and I was given a price right over the phone! They came out and measured and they said my measurements were off by about 8" (I was trying to eyeball it) but they still stuck with their original price. The time slot was a bit long (three hours) but they stuck to it. They arrived four days later with a custom glass unit which they manufactured in their own factory and popped it in. Took about 30 minutes tops. Everything fit perfectly and you can't tell we ever had a broken window. Price was awesome. I had other companies quote me double and they never even showed up. They were able to preserve the original frame and they didn't give me a song and dance about needing to replace the entire window. They just replaced the insulated glass portion with a new double pane unit that is hermetically sealed in their factory. What else can I say? I am very happy with them.

  • Booby's Glass went above and beyond my expectations. He showed up when he said and he completed the job on the day he said he would. I would highly recommend them and I would use them again if needed.
