General Contracting reviews in Jamaica

    Procraft Design & Construction
It is a pleasure to write a review about my experience with Glenn Feigelman and Pro-Craft Design & Construction. After a devastating fire in my home I interviewed many contractors and at the end of the day I choose Pro-Craft and I am extremely happy I did. From demo to rebuilding it was great having a contractor and designer all in one. Glenn always had innovated ideas that elevated the comfort and look of each room. Pro-Craft customized baseboards and radiator covers throughout my entire home. It all looks amazing. Glenn handles his business with integrity and gives you top notch results. There was always an open line of communication addressing my questions and concerns. Along with his professional and knowledgeable team they gave me back my home from replacing the entire roof, renovating two entire apartments, the attic and the basement. I love my home. My home is comfortable, beautiful and safe because of Pro-Craft Design and Construction.

Was very impressed at the overall experience.Antonio and his crew are very easy going and the quality of work are outstanding.Antonio was very helpful in going with me to home depot to pick up my finished materials. The finished products of my kitchen and bathroom were so outstanding that I hired Antonio and his crew to do the flooring throughout my apt and also the repainting I had to also get done. The price paid was on par with what others charge if not slightly cheaper especially seeing the company is licensed an insured.I was very skeptical to leave any strangers or contractors in my at when I was not there but I must say honestly that Antonio and his crew were very trustworthy and at no time did I have any problems with them being alone in my home..WILL DEFINITELY HIRE AND RECOMMEND.

    Dave's Superior Construction Company
The guys came and check out the kitchen. They listened to what I needed to be done. I was given an estimate and I decided to go with them. They were very patient with me and they accommodated any changes I made. The work was neat and tidy. I would use them again.

    Arta Construction
I am extremely pleased with the entire process . Andy was very responsive when I first contacted him about the job. He came to my house at precisely the time he promised. I very impressed that he presented a typed written estimate on the company letterhead. I thought the price he quoted was fair and reasonable . His price was less expensive than another contractor who wasn't licensed. We scheduled the job one month in advance and job started as promised. Each day the crew arrived promptly and only stopped to have a quick bite to eat. Andy was on site twice a day to see how the work was being done . He and the guys were very approachable and accommodating. Everything was swept and put away at the conclusion of the day. Andy is very customer oriented. Nothing was ever a problem if it made me happy. For instance he and his team stayed late to finish the work so I could return to work. As for the actual work, it is beautiful. I am beyond pleased. No detail was overlooked through the job. Everything was neat and precise ; no shortcuts taken. Extras were done like installation of borders around window and door and installation of towel bars, etc. They even made a new cover to enclose my radiator. I highly recommend Arta to anyone looking for a quality job at a fair price. I have already recommended to my friend . I would definitely use Arta for future projects

    Crisvalih Home Remodelation Inc
Very well. Cris, the proprietor, was receptive to our initial needs and proved to be flexible too. We contracted for one type of first floor bathroom but because of a family matter we had to change the plan at the very beginning of the job, and Cris was right there with us, helping us with the new plan, making suggestions and watching our costs, and executing professionally. He is very good at what he does--a qualified and personable workman. He and his team--Jose and Olman--were always punctual and always cleaned up at the end of a day's work. They made this kind of job, which always imposes some inconvenience, quite bearable for us. Our dog, who met them at the door early every morning, misses them!

    Crisvalih Home Remodelation Inc
This is the second major home improvement project that we have used Crisvalih Home Remodelation for. Please see our review on 9/4/2015 for our first review. Crisvalih Home Remodelation continues to be a company that strives to fully satisfy. The current project consisted of a complete gut and reno of our 3rd floor attic space and installation of new floors and painting on our 2nd floor. The 3rd floor attic space was being remodeled into our daughters bedroom and bathroom. As always Cristian and his team treated our family with respect, class and dignity and took the time to personally tender to our needs. Cristian listened to the plan and vision that we had for the space and he explained all possible options and limitations that could lie ahead. Throughout the project he checked in with us consistently to make sure we were satisfied with the work being done. His craftsmanship is meticulous. His team is comprised of trustworthy, courteous and hardworking group of craftsmen. The end result was beyond what we were hoping for. Cristian and his team not only created a bedroom and bathroom space for our daughters, they created a space that allows our girls to play, dream and grow in.

    Allauca Construction Corp
Excellent - it came out beautifully. Rooms were cleaned and vacuumed after each day's work. They prepped each day/ reviewed the following days work to be accomplished and concurred with us each day to make sure we were in agreement. Would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone reading this review. For any future jobs - they would be the company I would call. Allauca Brithers and their helper were terrific

    Arta Construction
The Arta Construction team was exceptional in terms of the quality of their work and the professionalism. I was always kept aware of what was going on during the remodeling and if I had any questions they were always available. I had a wonderful experience using this company and would recommend them to anyone I know. I intend to use them again in the near future for my basement remodel.

    William & Hugh Roofing
Extremely poor experience. Please brace yourself, this was a very unpleasant experience. Hugh was trying to lock down the job on the phone before even coming here to see it. He asked me if he gives me a good price would I be ready to hire him on the spot? I told him no I won't be and that if that's what he wanted he should not bother to come. He reassured me that he would like to come anyway. He never asked me what I was looking to do. I was going to do two entire new flat roofs and all new gutters and soffits and fascia and wood where it needed to be replaced. My Roof was not in poor condition but it has been a long time So I wanted to be proactive and responsible And protect my fathers investment. Hugh wanted to put a layer on top of my existing flat roofs and oh boy was he pushing what he wanted. He kept telling me what a "great deal" he was giving me. I was not looking for a great deal- I was looking for Professionalism and a job well done and two New flat roofs not a layer on top of my existing. This experience gets worse. He tells me $7500. The other estimates I received were for brand new roofs with new wood and using much better materials than Hugh was talking about and it also included numerous more things included on the scope of work than what Hugh was offering. The prices quoted for all of that was not far off from Hugh's idea of shortcutting my roofs- I communicated this information to him as well. In the front of the house I have a very tiny area of shingles- Hugh sat there criticizing how cheap my shingles are and how they are the worst on the market. Fact- it's 20 years old and the other roofers said it was fine. I wanted it replaced while I got everything else done but nothing was wrong with their current condition. It gets worse. I am trying to get rid of him and tell him that I will discuss it with my father and get back to him at a later time. My father is technical homeowner but does not live here and in no uncertain terms wants to deal with any Contractors ever (I am Starting to see why) but hiring people to maintain the house is something I have agreed to do for him. Well Hugh loses his temper (in front of his teenage son also named hugh). He gets so nasty and says " I thought you were going to hire me Today but you can't even make decisions, you wasted my Time, I can't start the work Today, if I knew that I would have never come here." That's where I had to remind him of our prior conversation where I told him I was not going to hire him on the spot and that he is annoying me And that I can make the decision but wanted to Discuss with my dad which was none of his business anyway. We awkwardly argue for approximately 10 minutes where I had to assert myself and my energy into telling him how much I would never succumb to pressure sales tactics and that he has thoroughly annoyed me. He said "that's ok I annoy my wife all the time." Ahhh.. I was not a client- I was a woman and it was ok to disrespect me. He would not walk away and kept begging me for me to give him a chance and he kept apologizing (realizing he royally messed up) so I finally said "look send me the quote." He still didn't move- so I said I won't leave you a review just send me in email the quote and I told him "I will think about it but it is Highly unlikely that I would ever hire you because of Your behavior." Took so long to get him to leave. I get an email with scope of work and I decided I would give Hugh the Opportunity to do one thing we talked about. (A special Gutter situation for my backyard water issues) on a positive note, he came Up with a smart, creative idea and so I decided to give him The chance to do this small Thing since I felt bad for him (i was embarassed for him for how he behaved in front of His teenage son and he apologized profusely for how he treated me and it was his good idea so I was trying to be nice and give him the benefit of the doubt that although I think he is a jerk, he probably Would do a nice job with the gutter challenge in my backyard. I suggested we do just that and see how it goes from There. An opportunity for redemption that it turns out he truly did not deserve- I never heard back from him. He's total ******** artist, says he's Trying to save you money and then begs for the job and seems desperate and then i try to cut this jerk some slack and I never heard back. I'm so glad I didn't hear back from him. I am confident that I escaped potential stress and aggravation. Please be careful- do not just believe what Hugh says. Some People Have no moral Fiber and truly are out to take advantage of you while repeatedly telling you how much they do not do that. Hey Hugh, you tried to sucker me and bully me and I was not going to leave the review- I guess I too when put to the test can Say one thing and do another. I think you're a jerk and hope that people think more than twice before taking what you say to them at face value. Don't contact me And try to harass me or argue with me over my review. You, your son, me and my surrounding neighbors who heard you barading me all Witnessed your unprofessional harassing behavior.

Very well!! Fabian and Armando are extremely professional, trustworthy and easy to work with. They listen to want you want and explain the process so you understand what the outcome will be. They completed the work in 2 days and they left everything spotless ! The pricing is a bit high but I intend to hire them for all my handyman needs
