    Good for me, not so good for the computer. The motherboard was DOA and it wasn't worth replacing, seeing as the computer was four years old. Mr. Levy recommended the purchase of a new computer and pointed me to a good store that sells them; he is not connected with that store.

    I contact Steve Levy by phone. He promptly called me back. I explained to him I believe my hard drive was burnt out do to a power surge. He asked me to text him a photo of the back of my PC. Once he received the photo, he told me he believed he had a replacement power supply in stock. He came the next day to attempt to replace it. He came on time and was well prepared for the task. He got the job done quickly and my computer is now 100% functional. Steve Levy is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend him for any computer related job.

    Vic helped trouble shoot a wireless network connection to my ISP.
    He remotely logged into my network to fix the problem.
    Amvean originally designed and installed my network and provided a technical diagram of the setup.
    This was helpful in solving the network problem i was having.

    I originally called Michael to inquire about the replacement of an internal DVD drive as the drive in my husband's laptop broke and he needed to burn a disc in order to complete a project.  Michael suggested purchasing an external drive and hook it up to the laptop as it would be much cheaper pricewise than the actual repair. 

    Did this but my husband was not doing something correctly and he really wanted the internal drive repaired so I called Michael back to schedule an appointment.

    Not only did he repair the internal DVD, but he showed my husband how to use the external DVD correctly.  Now he has two options when he needs to burn a disc.

    Michael also suggested other software and hardware that my husband could use for his business that might be a more viable option.

    He was a gem, a true professional, extremely nice and polite.  He really knows his stuff..  Will definitely use him again.

    Great. Was contacted right after purchase and appointment date and time was set. Was sent like to download needed access software the day before. Was called on time. Tech was very nice, explained what he was doing, answered all my questions. although he was paid for only 1 hour stayed for an extra twenty minutes at no extra charge. In addition gave me an antivirus program for 18 months at no cost.

    Affordable Computer Service
    Taz did an awesome job of cleaning up my pc and getting rid of that nagging virus causing constant restarts. Great customer service and I was only charged for an hour even though it took almost 2 hours to fix. Would definitely recommend. A+

    I got rid of Microsoft years ago and switched to EarthLink; as I didn't like Microsoft service and was always having problems with getting connections.  EarthLink also helps me prevent spam from coming into my inbox and keeps my mail onto EarthLink's net until I download it into my computer.  For spam there is a section for Suspect mail and Known spam (the limit for each person is 400 known spam messages that you can list).

    You also have the option of up to 8 different email addresses as well as anonymous.  I've also switched to its DSL for $39.99 a month.  It's pretty fast and so far I haven't had any troubles.  Whenever I have had problems I've called their hotline and they have helped, and in situations they have gotten back to me regarding my problem within a reasonable period of time.  They can also access my computer and fix the problem if the instructions are too complicated for me to handle.

    All in all they provide a pretty good service I just wish it was for less money per month.

    I have an old Dell 8300 Dimension PC with Windows XP.  I purchased a discounted tuneup package from Dave's Computer Service in March, 2014.  He responded to my purchase within minutes.  However, I was unable to work with Dave's service at that time.  At the end of June  I contacted Dave's and once again he promptly responded.  I explained all of my issues to "Sol", the technician:  
    Virus removal
    -I needed to add more memory
    -PC extremely slow
    -At times computer would not boot up at all
    -Computer constantly attempts to access sites identified as "illegal" 
    The need for added memory was the first step.  He asked how much longer I intended to keep this computer.  He said that he could not perform the needed diagnostics with the limited memory on my PC.  He also advised that it might not be to my advantage to spend money on memory upgrade if I intended to keep the computer for several years because, Microsoft will no longer provide support for Windows XP.  He told me what to look for and offered to assist the memory upgrade.   Although, Sol spent a lot of time explaining the cause and effect of some of these problems, the hour did not start until after I added the memory.  I opted for additional time for a full tune up, which took hours.  The cost was very reasonable.  I had to leave my house during the service so I asked if I should pay for the additional time.  Sol said that he would not accept payment until the PC had been successfully repaired.  If it could not be repaired I would not be charged  the additional time.   While the diagnostic was taking place I left the house.  Upon my return I contacted Sol for an update. He had removed all viruses and completed the tuneup.  He left 3 programs on my computer and explained what those programs would accomplish.  
    I cannot say enough about the service. My aging computer has been given new life.  Sol was professional, knowledgeable, highly proficient and very patient.
    I know that there are other computer repair service companies.  However, once you find one that exceeds your expectations, as Dave's has mine, you stick with them.  I give Dave's an A+ for customer service.  I will return to Dave's for all my future computer service needs without reservation.
