    They did a beautiful job. They did a wonderful job. The first time the guy came there gave me a measurement, and gave me an estimate and I decide to do it. Then another guy came back before they start awning and they came to a second measurement to make sure everything is correct. Then they came in again and start the awning. It was wonderful. They were very professional and the people I talked to in office were very pleasant and professional. And they did a beautiful job. I'm happy. Because next year I'm gonna do awnings in front of my house and I will call them again. Everything was done perfect I had no problem. I even take day off for me to be there when they come to install it. I tell them how I want it, when I want. And I went in the house, next thing I know they was knocking on my door letting me know they was done. And I came outside, inspect it and everything was beautiful.

    There was a leak, the lead was on my floor. I asked for an extension to avoid staining on my floor. My pillar was okay, they told me that I needed to change it.They offered 60 inch awning. They insisted that it would be fine. He never contacted me back after the awning. Once the rain came my floor was stained. I kept calling and they did not respond. I spent fourteen hundred dollars, they practically robbed me. They're father and son and are robbing people. People should consider going into all details before using the provider. They're not trustworthy.

    The aluminum awning for our carport was failing so we contacted several vendors on Angie's List to replace it. I found Custom Windows & Doors to be very professional - for the estimate Valentino was on time and was careful to explain all of the options and answer all of our questions without feeling rushed. And there was no hard sell during the visit to do the estimate, which I really appreciated.
    After reviewing several bids we decided to go with Custom Windows & Doors. We had some scheduling challenges due to work commitments and the fact that we were having our roof replaced at the same time and Valentino was very flexible, never got annoyed when we kept changing dates. And during this time when communicating with his office they were very organized, none of of our updates "fell between the cracks". Eventually we got the date figured out and Custom Windows & Doors came on site and knocked the job out in a day.  And our awning looks great!
    Valentino himself was here all day to supervise the work and answer and keep us up to date. And his crew did a nice job cleaning up afterwards. At every level (communications, punctuality, workmanship, etc.) I was really impressed with Custom Windows & Doors and would highly recommend them.

    The Dart Awnings installation crew arrived right on schedule. 
        They worked, in earnest, on building our car port and an extended door canopy.
        The crew worked non-stop: no breaks, never wasting a moment, and working smoothly, together, effectively, and efficiently.
        The crew was in a positive frame of mind, good natured, polite and professional,
    at all times. Everyone knew their job, and performed it very well.  They kept me apprised of the work progress, and made some very helpful suggestions to improve on the original plan. 
        I watched the entire process, asked questions, and photographed all phases of the job.  The crew was very cooperative, and pleased to explain what was being done.  The final product is astounding!
        I would heartily recommend this crew to anyone contemplating a project such as this.

    They promptly scheduled and we signed with them that very day. The rep was very detailed in explaining us the product.  
    They even came by again to re-measure and made sure if anything needed to be changed. There was an entrance light that had to be moved lower which we did.
    We did not end up installing the awning as cameras installed in my house could not be moved.
    I called them to let them know about cancellation and was expecting to lose the deposit given as this order was placed a few weeks ago. However they decided to refund the entire deposit. This is really a business that takes care of their customers.
    In the future if I do need an awning, this is the only company I am going to call.

    On July 15, 2013, I signed a contract with Tip Top  to install an awning and two (2) security doors. The total price for the awning was $3000.00 and a $1000.00 deposit was given. The total price for the security doors was $1700.00
    and a deposit of $600.00 was given. The approximate start date was suppose to be in one (1) to two (2) weeks from the date of the contract. The awning and security doors installation were suppose to be in August and Tip Top called me
    to delayed because they claimed they were very busy installing other awnings for the Jewish community because of their religious beliefs, when I objected and complained they told me they would get back to me.  When I didn?t hear back from them, the original date they gave me was no longer good. I received a call from them a day before the installation day I was given which was approximately a week later I told them since I haven?t heard back from them I was no longer available.
    I was told they would get back to me again for a new installation date. It took them approximately two (2) weeks to get back to me and on September 7, 2013, the awning and security doors were installed.  The balance for the awning was paid and
    appeared to be installed properly. The security doors was also installed but the door locks were not the ones I ordered, I told the installer I wasn?t going to pay the balance until the job was completed to my satisfaction because of the history I had with them.  Of course they objected and I received several calls from the office threatening to take the doors back off but they backed off since they knew I wasn?t budging.  The office told me that I wasn?t charged for the locks I wanted and if I wanted the locks there was going to be an additional charge of $250.00. I agreed it could?ve been a miscommunication and a new contract was sent to me. On September 30, 2013, the locks that I ordered were installed and the balance was paid off.
    During the months of November and December, I noticed that every time it rained or snowed when the water drained off the installed gutter from the awning it would drain onto my steps. This caused a very hazardous condition when the temperature went below freezing (which was every night since we had a cold winter). My family slipped several times on the steps because of this and was very fortunate no one got injured. I also noticed some rust on one (1) of the security doors.  I contacted Tip Top in January to advise them about the hazardous condition and rust on the door, I was told that the workers will come out when the weather breaks. Since I didn?t hear back from them, I decided to call them again to find out the status early February since the weather improved and I was told they had my complaint on file and they haven?t started going out on jobs. I once again told them about the hazardous condition.  Since still not having heard from the company, I placed my last call to them late April and
    once again was told my complaint was on file and that someone should be calling to make an appointment.
    On May 15, 2014, I decided to call my lawyer Feldman, Kramer & Monaco, for assistance since Tip Top has not called back to address my complaints. My lawyer advised me that they will send out a letter on my behalf. The letter was sent out around May 21, 2014. On May 28, 2014, I received a call from Tip Top and they wanted to make an appointment on 06/07/14 my wedding anniversary. I told them that was my anniversary. Once again they told me they would call me back for a new appointment. I'm still waiting for my call back. This is one of the biggest problem with the company, they try to punish you if you don't accept their date.
    The work is suppose to be under a 25 year warranty. They have the worst customer service I ever dealt with in my life time, I don't know how they're still in business!!!

    I had a problem with them.  The installation of the doors was fine but they also installed an awning over the door. They showed up before the time they told me that they were going to come and removed the old awning and replaced it with the new one.  My home is brick and my steps were white.  They came and drilled holes and got dust all over my steps, they turned my white steps pink.  They also got dust all over the new doors as well. The installers didn?t clean up after themselves, the sales person came back to do the clean-up but used my supplies; the stairs are still slightly stained.  

    I would give an A for the installation of the doors.  They were punctual and did a good job with that. If they came at the time we agreed the mess would have been prevented.  For the installation of the awning I would give a grade of a D because they didn?t clean up or come at the scheduled time.

    I have not chosen the one who I want to use yet.  I want three estimates first.  My experience with them was excellent.  Bob the owner called me right away and we set up an appointment.  The estimate was for $11000.  The only issue I had with it is that my roof, my chimney and awning were damaged.  My insurance company is paying for it and their estimate included the chimney and awning.  Bob’s estimate did not.  What swayed me a little bit from him is that I would have to go outside of him and find somebody to do the chimney separately.  So what I am looking for is someone that can do the whole package.
