The job was done in a timely manner . Only thing is I would recommend you guys pick out your own materials so it comes out a little cheaper . The owner was more than helpful in picking up the stuff for me after I placed the order for the materials . Will defenitly be calling them on future projects.

I really had a great experience with this company.
When I asked for an estimate for the work we needed to be done, Joe came the next day, showed up on time, was very professional and a straight shooter.  He didn't try to sell me a bigger job, either, like a lot of the other companies I interviewed did.  I really appreciated that, and it was one of the reasons we hired them, even though they didn't give us the lowest price of the bids we received.
Once we scheduled the work, all the paperwork was submitted and they showed up when they said they were going to show up, and the work was done in the time frame given.  The work was neat and high quality.  Everyone in my co-op was very happy with the job and we will definitely use them again.

    Clearview Tree & Land Corp.

I called last Monday morning to schedule an estimate and informed them that a large branch was dangling from a tree and was potentially dangerous. They told me they could get an estimator over in the afternoon. Great. I said we'd make sure someone was home. 20 minutes later the estimator called and said he'd be there in 10 minutes. I informed he that no one would be home, but he said that wasn't a problem. He would just take a look and leave the estimate in the mailbox. Fine. The estimate was $250 which was reasonable but because we were not home, we were unable to discuss whether more pruning was needed. I called to schedule, and was told they could come back later Monday afternoon. Fantastic. Except they didn't show. I called again on Tuesday and they apologized for the misunderstanding and said the scheduler would call back later. They didn't. I called again for the next few days with no response. I had begun to look for another provider when they called and said they could come Monday. OK. I just wanted the branch gone. The appointment was scheduled for 12:00-3:00, but at 11:00 the door bell rang. Which would be no problem except they didn't call to say they'd be early. My wife was in the basement doing laundry so it took a minute for her to answer the door, but they gave her attitude for having to wait at the door. The crew leader was completely unprofessional, particularly about discussing the payment, and also insisted the check be made out to cash. In the end they removed the branch, and the work was done neatly and quickly, but I do not intend to use this company again.

    John Pastore Electrical Contractors
On the first visit, the electrician installed a ceiling fixture in a bedroom. He arrived on time and completed the job in an efficient and clean manner.  I called him back for a second job - installing an outdoor light in my driveway.  This required wiring from my basement through a brick outer wall and placement of the fixture about 20 feet up the house side.  Again, the job was completed within a reasonable time with no mess.   I  was pleased with his work and will use John Pastore again.

    Urban Arborists Inc
He did 3 houses on the same block. He was good. He removed a tree that fell down after Sandy. He cut everything into pieces and took it out to the street. He put small bags into a machine. The big branches he took out to his truck.

    Tim Mills
Tim is very reasonable. He completely cleaned up the job when he was done and showed up on time. They cut down trees by climbing them in situations where a truck cut is not possible and they did an amazing job.

    WATERFALL LANDSCAPING INC
In my town we need to get a permit to pull down a tree and I didn't know about it. They didn't get a permit. They came and started to pull down the tree but somebody called the cops. The cops came but by then the tree just came down so they were able to talk to the cops and actually tell them that we didn't cut down the tree but just trim other trees out there. I paid half price for that. It was controversial for them to cut down the tree. What they did was illegal and nothing else stands out. They were a normal company. Since they should have known, and they didn't come with a permit I think the quality of work could have been better. Though they were the ones doing it, it's the property owner's responsibility when it comes to that.

    Denton Cleaning
After closing on our new co-op apartment, we needed to have a bit of work done (painting and floors) and then a move in cleaning to wipe away the 40 years of previous tenant and the dust and debris remaining from our updates. This cleaning service cleaned top to bottom, inside and outside of all windows, closets, appliances, cupboards, closets, light fixtures and surfaces. Two individuals and 7 hours later, our 3BR, 2 bath - 7 room apartment not only doesn't smell of new carpet and paint, but smells fresh and looks amazing! Windows are clear, screens cleaned, window wells, shower doors, faucets, sinks, under sinks, medicine cabinets, wall shelves, closet shelves all dust free. Even the tops of the windows and door frames! excellent job.

    Arnoldo's Tree Service
The rep did come the same day to give an estimate, which was nice, and showed up on time. But he wanted $550 to trim some branches, and didn't seem to have any ideas about which branches should go without hurting the tree (he seemed taken aback that we didn't want to just cut down the tree). Another tree service did the trimming for $175.

    Hart's Expert Tree Service
Great! I left them a message, they called back promptly, showed up on time the next morning for the estimate (with a call to say they were on their way), gave a better estimate than someone else, and did the work as desired that afternoon. Couldn't be better.
