    To start out let me say that I hate cleaning, so needless to say my apartment was looooong over due for an intense cleaning. Ideal Cleaning came to the rescue and did an excellent job. They knew exactly what to do. The service was professional and they accomplished a lot of work in the time allotted. I highly recommend Ideal Cleaning.

    Scheduling went well, contact was very responsive and worked with me regarding dates. Expectations and duties were clear and transparent. Communications were very friendly and professional. Cleaners did a very good job and we were very satisfied with the work.
    Constructive criticism: Purchased package, but needed additional hours, required to pay cash for additional hours as first time buyer, this was inconvenient and odd. Cleaners did not follow all instructions on printed sheet I provided. This did not impact the quality of the work, which was all very good. Would have been nice to receive a personal call afterwards to discuss service.
    Overall was very happy with the service and would use them again.

    Quality Cleaning Company
    It was a decent first time with this company... My apartment is clean. I explained and showed them everything that needed to be done and it was completed. I will be using this company again, but I will ask for the cleaners that come to be able to speak english, because that is my language and I want them to understand what I am saying without hand gestures and translations from another cleaner (that added too much time on and was frustrating to me). Everyone I have dealt with so far has been very nice and professional.

    Clutter Free Junk Removal Service & Cleanup Pros
    I consulted with a few companies before settling on Clutter Free. I was concerned because I desperately needed someone to
    clear out my mother's home now that she is sick and elderly. Almost immediately after contacting them I got an email from the owner who assured me they could handle the job. I agreed to set up an appointment to see the property. He showed up, did an assessment and gave me a reasonable estimate, which was better than the other 3 companies I had spoken with. I was still a bit unsure & waited for a while. While waiting the owner contacted me to see where I was in the process & I told him I was busy but would let him know. I finally decided Clutter Free was the best choice because they were local & had followed through on everything they said they would do. In the interim I added some items to be removed & the owner agreed to come a second time to
    reassess & amend the estimate. Two days after the second meeting Clutter Free showed up bright and early and ready to work. Unlike some other companies I spoke to, they brought their own supplies and immediately jumped into the formidable tasks. There was no slacking just focused diligence. I feared this would take all day but the work was done quickly and after several hours of non-stop removal & cleaning they finally took a brief lunch break only to return with the same level of discipline. On top of getting the job done, everyone was supportive and friendly since this can be an emotionally draining experience for the customer. The employees worked very hard and all the clutter which would have taken me forever to remove was gone in less than a day. The cleaning was thorough with my mother's home returned to a livable state. Ever since they left I have remained in amazement
    that all this took place in a relatively short period of time and the outcome was better than I could have imagined it. I hope I won't be in a position to request this service anytime soon again, but if it?s ever necessary to undertake another major cleaning and clutter removal job, I wouldn't hesitate to utilize their services and would recommend them with the highest praise and trust me I am no pushover when it comes to these things.

    It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were fine. They did a good job. There was some miscommunication about the starting time and then they came in an hour late. But they did the time that I paid for. They just did a good and thorough job. I have to ask them a couple of times to go over stuff.

    15th August, 2013 Update:

    I just got a call from out of the blue from this contractor today.  she must of read our review, which gave them a C overall and indicated the issues we had with the service.  She was quite angry and immediately started to use very hurtful and unprofessional language, calling me "a liar, a cheat, and a thief."  She claims that I "stole money from her."  Why? Because I wrote a bad review?  Isn't that the point of the List? I'm not sure how exactly to respond to this, other than to say that I have faithfully recorded our experience with this contractor and our opinions, although unacceptable to her, do fairly represent our experience.  We are not satisfied customers, and the review reflects that.

    Her behavior today was, in my opinion, highly unprofessional and indicative of a service that I would not recommend to others. There are many ways to resolve a dispute or respond to a negative rating on Angie's List without resorting to name-calling and unsubstantiated accusations.

    I sincerely hope other customers have not been treated this way.
    The service did a poor job organizing the job and it required a great deal of follow-up to get something even approximating fair value for the money we paid. Specifically:

    1) We rescheduled the first cleaning appointment over the phone because of travel plans. We confirmed the new date with El over the phone prior to leaving on our trip. I still got a call from the woman sent out to our apartment (who had almost arrived) while I was traveling and had to break the news to her that she wouldn't be cleaning that day.

    2) When the second woman came to clean, she was alone.  We were really surprised by this, as this was a deep clean and it should have been 2 people for an apartment of our size.  Later, El confirmed this on the phone as a clear mistake on their part. Unsurprisingly, the second cleaner took a long time to clean a relatively small portion of our apartment, without many of the advertised features of the deep clean service.  In fact, the ad specifically says "service provider will remain as long as it takes to provide the service." She could have been there for 8 hours and we would not received the service as advertised.

    3) I then had to call up the service and request an additional cleaner to be sent.  I was already unsatisfied with the service as received, but at least wanted to recoup some of the value by having one more person come and try to complete the deep clean. She came to clean and. although more efficient than the second person sent to us, she ended up providing what we would consider a "standard clean." The oven and the fridge were never touched by either cleaner. At this point, I knew I would never be calling Quality Cleaning Company again.

    4) A few days after the second cleaner came, El called me to check in and see if there was anything she could do to provide us with better service. I was honest with her and told her that, although I appreciated her call and her desire to improve their service, that there was nothing she could do to improve our experience.  I also mentioned that I would reflect our poor experience with QCC in the Angie's List review.  She then said "Well, everyone has bad days." I was stunned. I have worked many years in client-facing positions and I would never say that to a client, much less a first-time customer coming off a bad experience.

    In summary, we did not get what we paid for or what was advertised.  I definitely would not recommend Quality Cleaning Company to a friend.  Buyer beware.

    Cleaning professional was on time and did a great job in the bathroom. She did great in the home office too, except for leaving a small water stain on a poster. but she was very apologetic and the company offered to replace it.

    Soledad always comes when she is scheduled to come, unless there is a personal emergency and then I receive a call beforehand.  She has purchased cleaning supplies for me and always leaves receipts and change so I know exactly what she has spent.  She is highly reliable, trustworthy, and efficient.

    After closing on our new co-op apartment, we needed to have a bit of work done (painting and floors) and then a move in cleaning to wipe away the 40 years of previous tenant and the dust and debris remaining from our updates. This cleaning service cleaned top to bottom, inside and outside of all windows, closets, appliances, cupboards, closets, light fixtures and surfaces. Two individuals and 7 hours later, our 3BR, 2 bath - 7 room apartment not only doesn't smell of new carpet and paint, but smells fresh and looks amazing! Windows are clear, screens cleaned, window wells, shower doors, faucets, sinks, under sinks, medicine cabinets, wall shelves, closet shelves all dust free. Even the tops of the windows and door frames! excellent job.
