    Interior Moving Services
This was a big task and the crew of Curtis, Charles, and Justin did an amazing job. They worked fast, efficiently and carefully. They needed to pack for and move to two different locations. They managed it all very well. In addition, they were very pleasant and upbeat the whole time, which was much appreciated as it was a somewhat stressful and emotional day for us. My location was actually 2 hours drive from them and it was still worth hiring them even for the extra cost of the drive.

    Hired Hands Moving
It went as perfectly as I could have asked for. The movers that arrived, were professional, courteous, and hard-working. They got the difficult job done quickly, safely, and without complaint. I couldn't be more happy with how it went. It was well worth the money for the ease with which this difficult and stressful job was done.

    Jordan River Moving & Storage
They are sub contractors and they worked with the other moving company that we used.  They were super good.  We had a moving situation in terms of the property that we’re 8.03, and they were really patient and creative resolving that situation.  This is the first time we used them.

My experience with them was excellent.  This is the first time I used them.  They called me and their prices were lower than the other people.  They were really professional.  They 1.37 to 1.38 my husband’s company and so they were willing to give a 30 days invoice.  I thought they were excellent.  I will definitely use them again in the future if I need to.

    Truckin Movers Corporation
James arrived on time in Morrisville with a crew of 5 and wrapped every piece of furniture in pads and loaded up the truck for the hull to NY.  The crew in NC was made up of Truckin Movers employees.  They loaded my 3 story townhome is about 5 hours.  James arrived in Ithaca, NY first thing 2 days later with a crew of 3 to unload they truck at 2 locations.  They were also pros and did a great job.  I had a few items that were slightly damaged that i noticed a few days later that I did not report.  I expected a few dings with all that was moved.
They did a great job and I would hire them again.

Moved out and moved in on (sequentially) swelteringly hot days.  The guys were fantastic - really the best of the best, even under very challenging circumstances (e.g., weather; outside guy they'd contracted to help on this end was a dud but two of them handled it magnificently themselves; I changed my mind about where things should go a few too many times; etc.). They showed up right on time both mornings, and in every way, did exactly what they promised to do. From my first contact with Jack until they were finally out the door and on their way (and I collapsed - moving is not for the faint of heart), they couldn't have been better.  Even turned down the cold beers I offered them, because they'd be driving. They made an insane experience bearable.

    Wheaton World Wide Moving
The movers themselves were locally contracted employees and they did good work. Our experience with the actual laborers was fine, but our experience with the corporate personnel was poor. The people were friendly enough, but failed to communicate clearly or completely. They never told us a solid date for loading our truck and just showed up at our house on the earliest of the estimated loading dates. At that time they had no idea when our belongings would arrive at our new home. On several occasions, they failed to contact us when they said they would. We moved in August, so expected things to be busy for them, but the poor communication was the biggest problem in our experience. Overall quite friendly and mostly professional, but when dealing with people in transition who don't know when their stuff is going to arrive, you've got to call back when you say you're going to.

    Hicks Moving & Storage
We needed to move everything out of most of our house and store it for about 3 weeks so floors could be refinished. In sum that's exactly what happened. They showed up when they said they would. They quickly and carefully protected and removed the furniture, including a piano and several pieces with a lot of glass. They seemed to be very experienced and quickly solved problems like getting a large refrigerator through a small door. Everything was returned exactly on time, being very careful with our furniture and and with our newly refinished floors. The final price was a little less than the estimate. This seems to be a family business with a genuine attitude of respecting people and their possessions. Highly recomended.14850

They were real people who responded to requests, gave eye contact and treated us and our things with respect. It was at the end of a long day for them and they were tired and a bit rushed but nothing was damaged and they were still very careful with our house and things.

Pick Up & Go Moving International Inc
In the middle of October 2012, I searched Angie's list for a mover to pick up a large, round table from my mother's house in Ithaca, New York to take to Potomac Falls, Virginia.  I live in Florida but was visiting her to assist with this. I chose this company based on the reviews on Angie's List. The company did not do what they agreed to do in their contract that I signed and sent to them.
My initial conversation with Antoine, in October, was very pleasant and he said they could do the move for $500 if I could wait until a truck was going to be in the Ithaca area.  I told him that would be acceptable if it could be picked up by the end of November and delivered before Christmas Day. He agreed and I received a contract from the company stating a PICKUP DATE of 11/30/2012, between 12 and 3pm. The DELIVERY DATE said TBD, however, there is a note to customers that says Attention: Allow 7-10 business days for all interstate move delivery (which would put delivery no later than December 17). I gave them a deposit of $250 plus a $30 processing fee (which had not been mentioned previously).
On November 29, now back at my home in Florida, I called the company to confirm the time for pickup the next day so that I could alert my mother. Antoine told me that there was a problem with the closing of the house they were moving (this was why he said they could offer the move at $500) and that they would pick up between December 5 and 10th. I asked him if the table would still be delivered before Christmas and he assured me it would. He told me he would call me prior to that window to give me the exact date and time.
On December 5, I called Antoine again to ask for the delivery date. After repeated calls and conversations and promises of return calls by specified times  (none of which were received nor shown on my phone as being missed even though Antoine said he made them), I finally reached Antoine on the morning of December 7. He told me that the table would be picked up on December 19 or 20th. When I expressed my alarm at yet another change, he said it would still be delivered before Christmas. I stressed to him that pick up was more important than delivery (as I had expressed in my initial emails which said pickup was needed ASAP and delivery within two months (which would make it prior to Christmas). His pleasant manner disappeared and I ended the call.
I called back  to speak to a manager and was given Kim, who listened to my story and was very compassionate and helpful. This was on December 7. She promised me the table would be picked up by December 11th--and it was. They had a local moving company pick it up and store it until a truck would be in the area. While I was disappointed that the table did not arrive before Christmas, I was delighted that it was picked up so that my mother's agitation and frustration (as well as mine) could be relieved on that point. There were several delivery dates promised by Kim but weather and other issues interfered with a truck being in that vicinity to get the table from storage.
It was delivered a day later than the last promised date (arrived on February 1st) and it made the trip fine and looks great.  Kim also has indicated that she is sending me a check for $100 to make amends for the lengthy process this took.  I do not know how this company does on whole house moves but I do not think I would use them for something small like this unless there were absolutely NO parameters for when the furniture is needed.  Because they have to tag on to a larger move, there may always be issues with the dates.
