    Piskorowski, Dr. Joseph H.
Dr Piskorowski, treated me for several years and by and large did good work. On the negative side he quite often had not arrived in the office when I was scheduled for my exam, so I only saw the hygienist not the doctor, this was disappointing At times I got the impression Dr P was impatient when procedures did not go as smoothly as he would like, made me uncomfortable. At times I felt as though he was doing me a favor by seeing me. Looking for a new dentist.

    Dionne, Dr. Paul L., DMD
Dr. Dionne saved my teeth!  I had two other opinions from dentists and both wanted to extract two of my teeth, but Dr. Dionne was able to save them.  I couldn't be happier and have referred many friends to him. He's really good at what he does and cares so much!

    Manunts, Dr. Marina R.
Dr. Manunts is extremely knowledgeable, informative, thorough, and companionate. She was there for me immediately and I felt taken care of. She is extremely flexible and matter of fact. Her approach is as a mom, direct as well as understanding. The entire office is very clean and well kept. Her staff is excellent, friendly, accommodating, and also knowledgeable.  My entire family uses this practice, she is amazing with my 7 year old son. I highly recommend Northeast Family Dental.

    A Matthew Thompson, DDS.
This was the second broken molar problem repaired by Dr. Thompson.  Both of them probably would have been given crowns, but understanding this senior citizen's need to be fiscally cautious, he replaced the filling and reshaped molars making contact..
Again, I have an excellent and affordable repair.  I am really delighted to find this dentist and recommend him highly for his expertise and for his willingness to find affordable solutions.

    Purdy, Dr. Marc C.
I got professional care from Dr. Marc but ended up leaving because I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being up-sold. My new dentist is competent and noticeably cheaper. For example, Dr. Marc's office's fluoride treatment was a $70 rinse, but my new dentist charges $15 and polishes it onto the teeth. Perhaps the $70 treatment is more advanced in some way, and how do you evaluate the effectiveness of a fluoride treatment? But it seemed pricey to me for a 3oz. rinse.
Again on the modern, professional side was a full mouth scan x-ray. But it was expensive and my new dentist makes do with the old-fashioned (albeit modern and laser controlled etc.) x-ray machine. Another example was a teeth 'sealer'. Seems modern and professional, and maybe it's the best thing since sliced bread but, again, that feeling of being up-sold.
I will say that some work went awry, and Dr. Marc fixed it up promptly and at no charge, and if you like the best care and don't share my discomfort about maybe paying too much then you'll be fine there.

    Shields, Dr. Thomas L
I've been going to him since he started practicing about 25 years ago. I like his attention to detail. He follows up and does good work. I've lost some teeth but I think it is my toothbrush and not him. They do the billing very effectively. I will absolutely continue seeing him.

    Catalfamo, Dr. Martha
Dr. C. and her staff are amazing. They are friendly, efficient, and punctual, and are thorough and gentle in their tooth treatments. My children, who don't relish going to the dentist, love Dr. C. and her hygienists. They explain everything they are going to do, and if you have questions about a procedure, Dr. C. listens and responds. For example, when she wanted to put sealant on my child's teeth and I expressed concern about BPA in dental sealants, she photocopied some of the latest professional literature on the topic and gave it to me in order to help me make a well-informed decision. I heartily recommend Dr. C.!

    Eastman Dental Center
I have been going to the periodontal clinic for over a year. I had deep scaling treatment and 4 surgeries with followup appointments. Services were outstanding. All staff, hygienists, assistants and my periodontist were compassionate, honest, thorough. Because the dentist is training to be a periodontist it does take a while for the office visit and you have to go in for initial consult, etc. however is was completely worth the drive (2 hours from Ithaca) and the quality of care. The cost of services was almost 1/2 of what I had been quoted in Ithaca and Geneva area. I felt I could trust their opinions and recommendations and my periodontist in training was awesome! She really cared about my anxiety during the procedures, my pain levels, etc. The front desk staff were also awesome. All work is supervised by the residency chief of staff. I will continue to do minimal follow-ups in the future for periodontal care/dental cleanings in addition to seeing a local dentist for any acute dental needs and supplemental dental cleanings. Yes it is time consuming to travel so far but as a teaching clinic I completely trusted their treatment plan. They are not in the business of selling you what you do not need and adhere to and quot;best practicesand quot; in dentistry. It took me about 9 months agonizing over where to go for needed periodontal care and I called a handful of dentists over that time trying to educate myself on the best approach. What troubled me was of all those inquiries only one local dentist ( now my local dentist) actually made a referral to a local periodontist (I chose not to go locally simply because of cost/my finances). All the other dental inquiries (Geneva, Ithaca) did not ease my mind . Bottom line is if you have periodontal disease you need to see a qualified periodontist in addition to regular dental care. To do otherwise is like seeing your family doctor for surgery. Cost was about $800 per quadrant for the surgeries...had all 4 done, $500 deep scaling, a few hundred more for follow-ups, tooth extraction, etc so about $4,000. Highly recommend especially if financially challenged.

    Anthony J Grasso Jr DDS
I called Dr Grasso after my bonded front teeth broke, and they got me in the same day! All the staff were lovely, and never felt rushed, they were thorough and patient, and Dr Grasso was friendly and great at what he does. They were very helpful scheduling my follow up appointment, and got my crowns rushed at the lab so I could have them before Christmas. He was very thorough with adjusting them so that they were perfect. I was so worried about finding a good dentist, and I am very happy I found him. Definitely recommended! Not cheap, but I believe on par with what other, less competent dentists charge! Will be writing them a thank you letter for sure.

    Mccutcheon, Dr. Richard S.
Went well overall.  Everyone in the office was extremely nice.  From the front desk to the techs who aren't even needing to talk to you.   The tech who worked on my daughter's teeth was very nice.    She did a good job cleaning her teeth.  The dentist who came in and checked her xrays and teeth seemed to do a thorough job making sure the tech's work was done well.  We had a bit of an xray transfer issue (transferring from another office) and this office was very patient in getting it sorted out!!  Our previous office visit with another practice in town was NOT like this one so it was pleasant to find people who genuinely seemed to care.
