  • I had a brief power outage and the generator did not go on.  I called Joshua Lerner and he came out to my house the same day and made  the necessary adjustment by computer to ensure that the generator would go on automatically if the power went out,  He also tested the settings to make sure they were all  operating. His service was prompt and effective.

  • They arrived right on time and got to work. They systematically went through each of the tasks and had everything done by around Noon. They were very professional and did good work. They cleaned up and left everything spotless.
    While they worked they explained what they were doing and answered any questions I had. I hope to have them return to do some work on rewiring our detached garage.

  • Ed Reiff, the owner of the company met with us and wrote up a contract outlining all that they would do and supply.  His young staff arrived on time when they said that they would be here.  They set right to work and installed the new generator and the tank for propane.  Others worked on the electrical panel and removed the remnants of the 50 year old generator that we had.  They were very efficient, cleaned up the area.  They did an excellent job.  We are very happy with their work. We felt that his price was very fair.

  • IT WAS HORRIBLE! They are thieves!  They went through the house and  stole over $ 250 cash, opened Xmas presents and did property damage.    Also missing tools and other miscellaneous items.  We discovered this after completion of work.  Instead of calling police, we chose to handle this with company.  We spoke to Ken who said he'd return our call... he never did.  Then we followed up with a letter.  Once again, never heard from Ken at all.  This is despicable and I would never recommend this company to anyone.  A lesson learned, get the police involved.  Never try to be nice to anyone.  
    Also, price gauging when forced to replace cartridge in shower as a result of their incompetence of work.  They charged $315 to replace it - that's highway robbery when you consider the price of a cartridge!
    SHAME ON KEN AND THE EMPLOYEES HE HIRES!  THE FACT HE DIDN'T RESPOND BACK ONLY SHOWS HIS LEVEL OF CHARACTER AND LOYALTY TO HIS CUSTOMERS.  
    I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!!

  • On Oct. 31, after the unit failed, Anthony came out and spent two grueling hours in the cold and dark performing diagnostics to make sure the problem was identified accurately. I did not have a service contract, so LIEP could not give me the highest priority in scheduling the extensive repair work they had to provide to their contract customers due to Sandy. Nevertheless, company president Mike Towers stayed in touch with me even during the worst period in the week following Sandy, explaining why it would take a while to get the parts from Generac in Wisconsin, going over the repair costs (which were later picked up by Generac) and explaining why his response could not be immediate, but assuring me that he would come through as soon as possible. This was followed up by email contacts from company VP Joann Davi and service manager Ben Maffetone to let me know when the parts would arrive and when the repair could be scheduled.
    At last, on Dec. 26, Tony came out with the parts, but was unable to complete the repair because he wasn't satisfied with the operation of the rotor in the stator assembly and contacted Generac to ensure their approval for the return of the defective part. Finally on Jan. 14, Tony returned with another technician, Jason, with the replacement rotor and the repair was competed, the unit tested, and the generator returned to normal standby operation.
    These technicians did careful, professional, outstanding work to restore the generator and I could not have been more pleased with their work. And although it took 2-1/2 months to finally get the generator back on line, the folks at LIEP kept me apprised on repair status even though they had their hands full with other first-priority, service contract repairs related to Sandy. They're a first-class organization!

  • Our experience was excellent. Eddie and his assistant arrived on time.  The work was completed in a timely and very professional manner.  Eddie answered all my questions about the installation. I would definitely use them again if necessary.

  • Well this is probably the 4th or 5th time I've used Lite House so pretty clear I'm a satisfied customer.
    Previously they installed baseboard heating in my mancave, ran cable and phone wires throughout my house, installed ceiling fans and once when I thought there was a problem with a kitchen outlet they came over, found nothing really wrong other then adjusting some wire locations, they didn't charge me----a class act.
    This time I was dealing with the after effects of Hurricane Irene, had lost power, had conduit damaged, and was relying on a neighbor's extension cord and tenuous power supply to keep my sump pumps going after having flushed 8,000 gallons of water from a flooded basement the day before. Guessing that LIPA wouldn't get around to repairing damage for several days and even then wouldn't do final connection due to damaged connection to my meter, I called Damion and asked what he could do for me---well about 6 hours later new conduit was in place and power was restored to my house.
    Oh and having learned an expensive lesson due to flooding that occurred in basement I'm in market for a generator and will have Lite House do the installation, and they're also giving me suggestions on how to select the proper generator based upon my circumstances.
    Repeat customer, several times over---so think that says it all.
