AGaudioso ContractingThey did a great job!! The house painting job took about one month to complete because of the scraping and other prep work that was needed. I have a English Tutor style home that hadn't been painted for 12 years and in some places the wood planks needed to be replaced. Once the prep work was completed the workers applied one coat of primer and two coats of paint. For each job, the cost estimate included the cost of materials. There prices are extremely reasonable given the high cost of all the materials they used to complete these jobs. The house exterior looks great now. They painted the house using Benjamin Moore Regal Select paint. This is the best exterior paint made today. In the fall I had Gaudioso Contracting come back to complete some additional repairs involving securing my yard wooden fence that had fallen down from high winds and some driveway cement work. The guys fixed the fence in one full day and and completed the concrete work also in a single day, In each case there was a crew of 3 men who because of COVID wore masks the entire time and totally cleaned up each work site after the repairs were completed. I was extremely satisfied with their knowledge and skills. I would recommend Gaudioso Contracting for all small and large home construction improvement projects. Their foreman gives accurate cost estimates and the workers are skilled experienced craftsmen who take the time to do the job right!!.- Arthur M.

Everything flowed seamlessly - from meeting the owner (Sheki) who provided references and a certificate of insurance at first meeting to the provision of a fair and detailed quote, commencement of work two days later and completion 8 days later. I even received a courtesy call from the office that the owner was running a little late due to traffic prior to our first meeting. The owner came onsite every day and was available to discuss any concern. Edgar and his painting team were fantastic! AWe needed our stoop top replaced and the entire stoop waterproofed. The job went very well - work began on-time and ended a bit earlier than estimated. Mr. Ismail kindly explained every step of work to be done in advance and made sure that we understood and approved each one. When a layer of very old brick under the stoop was discovered and shown to be unsuitable for a modern cement covering, the workers quickly built a new layer that is much sturdier. The workers also replaced a crumbling stone border at the edge of our garden, sealed the stoop against moisture, painted the interior storerom room underneath the stoop, and removed dirt and debris. I highly recommend Rahat Construction!

AThe process went very well. We had worked with Alverez Masonry in the past with good results. This project was without hiccups or delays from start to finish. Although it wasn't a very large job, it was treated as if it was. The resulting patio has received a steady stream of compliments from the neighbors. They are starting to plan their patios as well. I expect to see Mr Alverez busy for a long time to come.

AFrom the initial phone, Eddie was our guy! His knowledge on home repair, structural issues, water damage and more is second to none. But it is not just his craftsmanship and expertise that stands out, it's his personality. Eddie is exactly what I am about to say and more. Honest, humble, trustworthy, caring, communicative, transparent, and so on. For years I paid contractors to solve my water issues in the basement. And year after year after being fixed, the issue would come back. Eddie explained the reason why year after year I had these issues. He took the time to really make me understand, veins, footings, cement mixing, cracks, water damage, building foundation, wood and moisture. His crew follows his lead! Eddie stays on the site until the job is done. The only part that was difficult, was saying goodbye. Sounds corny, but if you meet Eddie you made a friend.

AI mostly interfaced with Anthony but did speak with John and the company receptionist. All were very pleasant, professional, and super easy to work with. Anthony was understanding, patient, and helped me decide which work should be prioritized in order to stay within my budget. The Essex & Morris work crew arrived as scheduled, did excellent work, and didn’t leave a mess afterwards. I wish I had known of them the first time I had mason work done at my home as I wouldn’t have had to settle for inferior workmanship. My apologies to E&M for not writing this review sooner. The sidewalk sections and driveway asphalt paving were excellent! I highly recommend using Essex & Morris.
