    Midstate Basement Authorities, Inc
I would recommend this company to anyone! From the president, to office staff to the incredibly wonderful workers ---they have been excellent. Throughout the cellar, I had the front wall braced, a sump pump installed, a moisture barrier put on the walls and plywood over all the walls. The company dug out and sealed cracks in the floor and  arranged to have it painted. Midstate also dug around the front and side of my house and installed pipe and stone to wisk water from the front. I sit in an usual place because I get run off from state and county roads and a farmer's 107-acre field. Of course, no one will to do anything about it. For the last three years, after a moderate rain I would listen to my sump pump go off every two to three minutes. I was a nervous wreck. Since the restoration, everything is dry and I really haven't heard my sump pump run. It has been pure heaven. Everyone I have dealth with from Midstate has been caring and professional. They even sent flowers when I had a car accident! They truly are a wonderful company.

    Bussard Plumbing
They came in a day after we called, gave us an estimate which we agreed to.  They replaced the entire drain on the bath as well as replacing the old valve fixture with a new valve fixture we had purchased.  They also replaced the shower pipe which was fractured.  They worked well, made sure everything was as we wanted and did a fine job.  Cleaned up afterward.  Held to the estimate.  The bath now works flawlessly, no leaks.

    KIRKSWAY FARM INC
We think it went well, although we're waiting for the next heavy rain to really test the new drainage. Bill responded to our emergency call for help when storm water backed into our basement floor drain. He came out to review the current drainage and suggested some things we could do to address the problem. Then, as we were bracing for more rain, he sent a crew (and came himself!) to install the downspout drainage. His responsiveness was excellent. His crew took a break from another job, driving 45 minutes to get here, and get the work done to prevent a third water backup. The men worked quickly and efficiently, took away the old clogged pipes, covered the area they'd dug and reseeded. He listened to our concerns, spent time looking around the property to study the drainage situation, offered good advice and shared in our concern about getting something done before more rain came into the basement. We hope we don't need Mr. Kirk's services again soon, but if we do we'll call him first.

So far, so good. I think the work they did has worked, for the most part. We may have to have more drainage work done, but given how rainy it is and how much water there is to deal with, they've done a great job.

His name is Jesse Bussard. He was very competent. His prices were reasonable for the amount of time he spent doing the repair. I would recommend him to others.

Did what he said he would do and at the price he quoted. Worked with my on payments. Work turned out great.

    Halco
Avoid Halco Plumbing at all cost. Here is a list why.... 1. While repairing my sewer drain Gino broke my footer drain. He dismissed the broken pipe, buried the broken pipe and then when my basement flooded, Hal Smith denied responsibility because the footer drain was not marked. 2. Gino was supposed to leave my lawn as a rough grade. There were piles of brush, holes in the ground, and mounds of dirt. My husband and I spent 1/2 day "cleaning" it up. 3. Dan charged me a dispatch fee when I called him to come and problem solve the ground water in my basement. 4. Dan drilled open my sewer cap in the basement and left it. I called Halco back to replace the cap, because sewer gas was leaking into my basement. 5. Dan ran a snake down my basement floor drain and said I had a broken pipe at 2 feet. I then called Drain Brain and they were able to run a camera down the drain and out of my house a full 80 feet. If you choose to hire Halco, make sure you are home and have your camera ready to record everything. I did not, and my complaint at the BBB was not resolved in my favor.
