    Senshi Dojo Martial Arts
Sensei Ken has the ability of teaching what really are life skills in a fun way, yet on a professional level. My son has been with Ken for nearly two years and it has been a positive experience throughout.

    GOLD'S GYM
I think they are terrific. They are providing a huge assortment of classes for different levels of abilities. It is very clean and they are very accommodating. We have had a membership request some time and I still keep the membership, because I don't want to not be able to go. For what they provide, their prices are definitely fair, but you have to really take advantage of what they have to offer in order to get value for your money.

    Aspen Athletic Club-Greater
They have multiple locations. My membership ended in March of '14. They were clean, not too busy but there were always people them. I used more than one locations and I like both of the locations I used. One was in Liverpool, one was in downtown Syracuse. They're not too busy but I wouldn't like going to an empty gym either. They were very reasonable. I'll definitely use them again.

    World Gym Phoenix
It is inexpensive and it is a 24-hour gym so the doors are always open for anybody that has a membership card. The staff is very pleasant. They have almost all of the workout machines I would ever want to use.

    East Area Family YMCA
East Area Family YMCA has all kinds of weight training and exercise equipment, also cardio. They have a pool and a hot tub. They have the cycling and the fitness classes. They have yoga. It's a huge facility. They have some art classes that they do. It's pretty all inclusive. They have youth programs and adult programs. There is child care. If somebody is new around, the staff will show him around on how to work the equipment and get the best workout. They have a whole registration area and they have an orientation. If you want, they can teach you around. If it's the first time, they have staff to help with the equipment. The price is very reasonable. The membership is done monthly.

    CNY Yoga Center Inc
CNY Yoga is fantastic. Absolutely wonderful. I was intimidated to go, as I had never done yoga before in any form whatsoever and had no idea what to expect. The atmosphere they've created at both of their studios (downtown and Liverpool) is relaxing and welcoming, and I immediately felt at ease. The instructors in the beginner classes do a wonderful job of both just letting you get down to doing yoga poses, as well as explaining why certain poses are done, the benefits of the poses, and proper form. It's a perfect combination of information and activity. I've attended just 3 classes now and was able to go on my first knee-pain free run in over 7 months this morning, and my posture and mindset are both much improved as well. After 3 classes! The instructors are amazing, and I am so glad I followed the advice of other reviewers on here and went!

    East Area Family YMCA
The facility was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. There were plenty of cardio and weight machines to go around. The gym was crowded, but the locker room was clean and tidy. It was a Saturday and the place gets pretty busy on Saturday mornings so parking can be an issue.

    Gold's Gym Dewitt
One of the things I really like is that they have a pool and have a water aerobics which is great because I have had knee replacement and it is great for that. They also have a lot of equipment; we don't use weights but use the elliptical, stationary bikes and walk the track. They have all kinds of classes including yoga, racquetball, exercise and Pilates. You can hire a fitness trainer and we have been members there for about 6 years. They have always done a nice job, we have been happy with them and they have clean locker rooms. I have had two knee replacements so when I can't go they put my membership on hold so time doesn't elapse; then I can pick up again when I am ready and not lose any membership time. I will use them again in the future.

    GOLD'S GYM
They are excellent. I really like all their equipment. I like the way the gym is configured. If I do want to ask any questions, they are very courteous, and they are always willing to talk to me. They say hello to me when I come in the door, and they say goodbye to me when I leave. Their customer service, from what I have observed, is really good. My feeling is that they have always been a very good operation. They keep it clean and neat in there. They have a very good supply of products for people to buy. Their service is really attentive and courteous. The staff is very friendly. I do everything by myself but my husband did go to personal trainers there, and he had very good results. I would recommend them.
