    After replacing the sewer line, the plumbers (as expected) filled in the trench roughly, using the dirt that was dug up, which contained stones, roots, etc. After letting it settle for a few months, in the fall of 2017 I hired Callahan's to remove the stones, level the ground, add topsoil as needed, and reseed the lawn. At the same time I asked them to reseed a patch in the back yard. They came one day and did the back yard--perhaps 20 percent of the total work. I waited for them to come back and do the front, but instead received a bill for the whole job. I called them and they came and did the front. It didn't look great, and the grass seed didn't take very well, but it was late in the year and I thought it might come back in the spring. Over the winter, however, the ground shifted unevenly, and many stones worked their way to the surface, ranging in size from an inch to 4, 5, and 6 inches (the largest about 10 by 8 by 4 inches). All these had been left just below the surface and covered only superficially. I called to ask them to go over it again. The receptionist said she would send a manager out, but no one ever came and they never contacted me. When I called back and left a message they never called me back.

    He no show,no called three times. I then requested my large deposit back and he would not refund all of my money even though no service was ever provided because he repeatedly did not show up or even call. I would call after the fact and they would repeatedly promise that they were coming on Monday, then Wednesday, then Friday. It was not in any way the delay because of the weather that I was upset about. It is the fact that he just never showed up each time he claimed he was going to and I would have to call the office and/or hunt him down. He did in fact call at one time and was not able to leave a message. I called him back but he didn't answer. For all I know, he was calling to say "see you first thing Monday morning." He could have had his office call first thing Monday to explain the delay which would not have been a problem. He promised to come Wednesday, no call, no show. The third time was for an assessment prior to all of this. We had an appointment for 5:00 pm on a Thursday evening and he didn't show so at 6:00 pm I left a message on his phone. He later called me back and did finally come later that evening, but it was obvious that if I had not called that he would not have been there. I had hung on so long because a personal friend of mine had recommended him and I didn't want to make things awkward with my friend. Anyhow, he provides a poor service, I finally request my money back and then he tried to penalize me for his bad service!! I also caught him in a lie. He told his secretary something that was entirely not true. Unreliable, untrustworthy and a scammer. Hire this one at your own risk. Good luck.

    They wordsmithed the quote and only did the garage and charged me full price. It took 4 months for them to do the work and they blamed me for not moving things from there way when they never contacted me to tell me when they would be there. When they finally did call me, the stuff was moved so they could do the work and they only did the part I didnt even care about!!! When I followed up with the rep. he blamed me for them not calling me and said the confusion was entirely my fault.

    Anthony and Kyle arrived on time and got right to work. They carefully cut out all of the weeds, wild grape vines, tree saplings and trimmed up the good trees. They cleaned everything up and it looks amazing!! They did an awesome job and I couldn't be happier.

    The whole process went very smoothly. We had it installed within about a week of when we signed off on it. They finished the entire project in two days. It was over 200' feet of space. Nick was very responsive to emails and phone calls, showed up exactly on time, and even helped my wife unload groceries from her car at our first meeting.

    We have a 950-foot paved driveway. Since we're up near the Lake in Hilton, we get a LOT of snow drift as well as snow fall, and today it was particularly bad due to a snow storm. I called six plow services on Angies List, most of who didn't respond to my calls, said they didn't plow in Hilton, or wouldn't be able to get to me by the end of the day. 
    North Coast Sealing responded VERY promptly to my email and voicemail -- in just three minutes!! -- and was at my house within half an hour. He did a great, quick job plowing, including clearing snow away from our garage so I could get out, and was very friendly and professional. I definitely recommend them and would use this company again.

    We loved it! Our lawn is small, but it's tough for my husband to do it now at 89 and I refuse to mow. It was music to my ears to hear D&D out in the yard mowing and edging! Dave is very nice to work with. We highly recommend him. We'll see him again in the Spring!

    Before going to the store, I did a little price shopping online which I then compared to Brodner's Web site. As expected there were some places that the parts were less money but then had shipping. As someone who likes to support small local companies, I decided to go into the store to buy the parts. Once in the store I quickly learned that Brodner's charges more for in-store purchases as opposed to purchasing through their Web site.
    I consider this to be quite deceiving and will find somewhere else to purchase my ATV parts even if I have to order them from an online retailer and pay the shipping. Otherwise I found the people there to be nice and helpful. However, not enough to get me to pay that much extra (even from their own Web site).

    TruGreen Lawn Care - 5030 door to door sales stopped in my neighborhood last spring and I was given a price I couldn't refuse. I had just seeded my lawn the year before and knew how much it cost to fertilize much less do any grub control. So I took the chance. They stopped for the first treatment weeks after I signed the contract and I was excited to see how my lawn would look that summer. The results were less than pleasing. My lawn did not have any sort of deep green I experienced the year before. I decided to give it another treatment or so to see if it would change. It did not. I contacted the office with disappointment and stated I needed resolution. I asked for a treatment of granular fertilizer over the liquid they've been using up until now. The lawn was finally starting to react. The next treatment went back to liquid and I had to ask again for a granular treatment as the liquid did nothing for my lawn. This time, my lawn looked like a football field. I never expected an experienced company like this would stripe my lawn like they did. I contacted the office and they sent a representative to my house to view the lawn and told me it was "frost" related and that they were not at fault. I've seen a striped lawn...I did it myself the year before and knew what caused the problem and how to fix it.
    At this point, I had it. I soon after received a bill stating how great of a deal I was getting this past year and that treatment for 2015 would be much higher. I contacted customer service and immediately cancelled service.
    I was extremely disappointed in the service level. The management in the field office was great to speak with and they did exactly what they said they would, but it appears the field service reps are nothing more than college kids looking to do something over the summer. I expected more. I was warned prior to signing up for service to avoid this company, and now I know why. For what you're paying for, I learned it was worth just buying a spreader and doing the job myself. If you can't do it yourself, look elsewhere. This company isn't worth your time or money.

    They're always on time. If they have a problem, they'll take care of it right away. They're very conscientious about taking care of the lawn and the weeds as well as putting the bushes in. They were very good about that. They're all in all a good company. If I have a question, they usually get back with me. If they can't get back at the time, they'll have a reason like doing the lawn care. They're a little bit pricey but they do a very good work.
