    Jimmy Same Day are committed to solving the problem till the end. He worked on my built-in microwave, which many repair outfits would not do. He took the time to wait for my control board to be refurbished which was blown by another repair person. He knew exactly what the initial solution should have been. All parts ordered, he put that thing back together and it runs perfectly now.

    The company should be called Unable and Never Ready. Like others have said, avoid Able and Ready at all costs!! First off, they are unbelievable unreliable. Every time -- EVERY time -- I have booked them, the tech either just didn't arrive, or the office called the morning of the appointment to say the tech couldn't arrive during the scheduled window of time. Second, the tech guy (Gary) just downright sucks. He will talk you ear off and then fail to fix the issues. Earlier this year, Gary charged me close to $400 to repair my ice machine. Two days later, the ice machine malfunctioned again. When I called back to tell them, they said it would cost an additional $100 for another part -- a part that Gary somehow forgot to tell me during his first visit would be necessary to fix the issue. Unless you somehow enjoy major aggravation, stay away from Able & Ready.

    I was quite satisfied with this repair. I called at 8AM as soon as they opened and got through to an answering service. They took a detailed message and Vinnie called me back very quickly. He made an appointment for later that morning and called me when he knew he was going to be delayed. Vinnie was very professional, knowledgeable, communicative and efficient. I would recommend his service.

    MTE Mechanical SVC
    Do NOT, under any circumstances, call MTE Mechanical for anything!!!! Tony, the owner, is nothing less than an incompetent crook. I have never had an experience like the one I had with him. I called him on 4/15/16, and he came over to my home a few days later to diagnose my stove problem. He took a look at my stove, looked perplexed, told me he needed to order parts, and then charged me $85, promising that he would deduct that amount when he came back to do the fix. He said he would call me the next morning with a price for the parts.

    3 days later, he called and left a message asking me to call back to discuss the prices. I did. FIVE times over the course of the next 2 weeks. All 5 calls went to voicemail. And he never called me back. Not once.

    So here I sit, a month after he stole $85 from me, with no recourse.

    So, unless you liked having money stolen from you, do not call MTE.

    Recommended we replace the machine due to black mold, and not do the repair. Charged us low fee for the visit; offered good advice; said he was happy to provide free advice in the future. Would call again.

    My usual repairman didn't call back after 48 hours. As a new Angie's List customer, I figured this was the right time to try it.
    So I called Vinnie at 8 AM and by 10 AM, my dishwasher was back in service.
    He quickly figured out the problem and fixed it fast. Neat job.
    I can't think of a single reason why' I'd hesitate to call him again the next time I need a repair.

    It was the one of the best service calls I have ever received.  The technician was prompt, courteous, professional and best thing, he was straightforward and to-the-point.  He explained what was going on inside the dryer, how he was going to fix it and gave me an expectation of the costs upfront before he did the work.  He replaced drive belt, ball bearing, and the blower blade assembly.  I will use him again for sure.  Price was fair for parts and about 1 hour of work.

    I' ve called Jerry from Gem Appliancea few times to fix our appliances. He has always been punctual, friendly, and very hard-working. Most recently, he installed a gas pipe and connector so that we could install a new gas cooking range in our kitchen. He worked very hard to make the connector work properly. The quality of the work was excellent. I would definitely call him again.

    It was a pleasure to work with Denise.  She researched the availability of parts before sending out a man to make sure they were repairing all that would need to be repaired.   This would have saved us the cost of the  initial evaluation if the repair could not be done.The repair men were prompt, came when scheduled.  The office called us twice to confirm their arrival time.  They were extremely knowledgeable and professional about the job.  The were very careful of the floor, of the rest of the stove.  They worked clean and were careful to collect and take away all debris.I would definitely hire them again .

    Mark was very professional, prompt, and pleasant. He quickly identified a problem with our fridge and tried to fix it. Unfortunately, after a week, the fridge kept having problems. I called him again and he did not show up, despite saying that he would come. I finally gave up because he was not reliable.
