DShe has done my pets for years. Suddenly refuses to respond to phone messages, emails or text messages! Just ignores instead of being professional and responding to say I don’t want to do your pet anymore! If something better comes up she will cancel you or just not respond to you at all! Unprofessional so be careful how she may be with your pet! Insist on watching her groom your pet! Beware

DI started as a patient in October of 2019. In January of 2020, I started as an employee. That employment opportunity did not work out, however I wanted to remain a client. I was let go as a client for no valid reason and then when I called to have my pets medical records transferred to their new vet, they were never sent. I made this request on at least 6 different occasions, to no avail. My dogs had been heartworm tested in April and I had been buying their heartworm medication on a monthly basis. The fact that they gave me no notice that they were going to drop me as a client left me without heartworm medication for my dogs. Dr. Foley did agree to sell me some last month to keep them on the schedule until we got the records switched over so the new vet could sign off on the prescriptions. Well here we are again with them needing their medication and the records still haven't been sent. I shouldn't have to keep calling and requesting these records be sent. Not only is it unprofessional but it is also putting my pets at risk. This is uncalled for and unacceptable. Be upset with me that is ok, don't take it out on my pets. Your supposed to be in the business of helping animals.

FI'm writing this on behalf of Thomas. I promised our little boy in my heart, and my daughter that if his story could save another cat and its family this tragedy, it is worth sharing this experience. . That classic rock n roll music hit: "Just one look, That's all it took, Just one look, That's all it took......and I fell in love with you.......forever and a day.....". It was obvious 14 year old Thomas had problems, he was going outside his litter box, his poop wasn't healthy. He was losing weight. Previously he wasn't ever over or under weight. I took him to see the vet at All Cats in Webster. Our relationship with the staff was fine, we were always polite, respectful and paid our fees immediately. Our hearts were in our hands for him. There it began. He was treated for dehydration, ear infection. We adjusted his diet, he was eating. He rallied a bit, acting more energetic and gained back a little weight. But he began to lose ground again. In a series of visits, he was treated again and it was determined he had constipation...vet said she could feel the hardened stools, he was really packed. He also received an X-ray. The vet showed us the X-ray, saw something and said she didn't know what it was but would research, (In the moment I appreciated her extended efforts) and if she couldn't make a diagnoses would send the X-ray out for further assessment. Of course I agreed. We adjusted his food. In following additional visits Thomas had 3-4 enemas (2 in one visit). He supposedly had blood work, another X-ray, and a urine test. At a following she looked confused about my asking about his first X-ray, I reminded her what she said about researching and possibly sending it out for analysis. She said she hadn't gotten to it. Once, after leaving him so he could be treated for dehydration I picked him up and there was blood on the edge of the entrance of his carrier. I asked the assistant what is this? Expecting that maybe they took blood for testing. She looked a little distraught and said "Oh... he didn't want to go in the carrier and his nail caught". Later I was to learn the procedure for rehydration and a vitamin boost took only a few moments, and it was totally unnecessary to leave him at the vet all day. This was also true for his enemas. This happened 3-4 times that we were told we could drop him off early and they would call us when he was ready. The calls came at 5/6 pm. During following weeks we never received results of any tests. I called several times and talked to staff and they were unable to give me results, and seemed a confused....but said they would get back to me. I asked for a return call from the vet, they said she would, she never did. During all this there seemed to be confusion around the staff , I noted it but I thought maybe they are so busy, stressed, dealing with issues around co vid. After 6 weeks since our first visit, my daughter came home from college, this little boy was her baby. We did not have any answers/results about tests (now 2 X-rays, blood, urine, examinations). It was apparent he was sick. We decided it was long enough, we would make an appointment for us, all together, to get some clarity about Thomas's condition, in person, since we had no other information, and about what we needed to do to help him. I talked to staff on the phone to be clear about the reason for this appointment. We needed an over all assessment, and test results that we never received. That was to be on a recent Friday at 3;45 pm. We knew he was not well. Between us decided if it was very serous we would not put him through **** to extend his life. The vet walked in, with no paperwork or reference, and now, for the second time called him by the wrong name. We had to explain why we were there. He was losing weight. She said his weight looked great. We talked about the X-rays, there was nothing for the first one and no explanation. She quickly left the room and quickly brought out a second X-ray, showing something, as she said, in the lungs. It struck me ....it wasn't his X-ray... to me this was a cat but not Thomas, not his proportions, his shape, the repose that could be seen was not him. She again said he was constipated. She then contradicted herself said he was losing weight. Took him away for an enema. Came back. Felt him and said there was still hard fecal material. This now occurred after several previous visits for this same problem. Then she decided to check him again and said she felt there was something else there, and couldn't determine what it was and recommended the following Monday to set up Thomas for an ultrasound at another facility at South Towns. We agreed! I asked about previous test results, she looked a bit confused and simply said "Oh, they are fine". This, after 6 weeks. Before we left Thomas was given his first dose of pain medication and we learned how to administer it. "Just one look...that's all it took" My daughter waited with Thomas nearby in his carrier as I waited to pay the bill. I heard "Mom! Mom,! Somethings wrong! Help! I looked in at Thomas, his face was distorted., he was shriveling in a corner. I tried to find someone, looking down the corridor. no one was there. While I was looking she saw and told the Dr. The Dr. glanced in on him and said "Oh, that's normal". "THAT"S NORMAL" We got him home and he struggled, terribly, walking , falling, restless and so uncomfortable, We tried to call the vet, they had closed early. We left messages begging for a return phone call. I researched a number everywhere to reach the dr.. The evening wore on. We had the pain meds, i wondered if another dose would help. I looked it up, it was a drug regularly used . The warning was for it not to be given to animals with certain conditions. Those conditions had never been determined for Thomas. My daughter begged me not to give it to him, feeling it would make matters worse for him . During the night I left messages pleading for a return call when the office opened so we could help Thomas. I called the emergency number left on All Cats recording. They were adamant they could not put me in touch with the vet. They said we could bring him there. Thomas was deteriorating, suffering. We knew we could not move him any more. We were up with him all night. My daughter sang her song for him, whispering, crying, "Just one look. that's all it took, was just one look, I fell in love with you"... (That little girl had carried him in the skirt of her dress, like an apron, and Dad simply couldn't say "No". Thomas was to stay.) I finally reached someone at "All Cats" in the morning when they opened. The receptionist heard my plea and said the Dr. was not in and had a 9:30 appt. and assured me she would return my call immediately after the appt. We waited. No call. I called, pleading with my explanation, we needed some guidance, again. The receptionist said the Dr received the message from her, she talked to the Dr., and the Dr would call me back. The phone was at our side. No call. We watched Thomas suffer, terribly and saw him cry out in his discomfort. He couldn't be moved. We helplessly watched his final breath that morning. Before all of this we had known we might have to have him put down at some time. It would be humane, it would ease his suffering. No ethical, humane care was available for that innocent little boy. Later that day, after dinnertime, the vet called. "How's Thomas"? "Thomas passed this morning"......... She gushed her sympathies. I told the Dr we called the office and were waiting for her return call.......................Dr Peggy simply said : "Oh, I had a 9:30 appointment, and one thing lead to another, You know how that is". No, we don't know how that is. Beautiful Thomas, our family, my daughter's first love, the little boy who stayed by Dad's side while he battled terminal cancer. The little boy who endlessly cuddled with my daughter as she grieved losing her Dad, the little boy who trusted us, trusted us, trusted us..........As a kitten he showed up outside our door, we all took turns and fed him with a bottle.............."I don't know how that is." All in all , it would have taken "Just one look".........to quote the Dr. with a reason for not returning our call "You know how that is". He could have been here, eat least for one more Christmas. He could have passed peacefully.

DWe brought our lab in for day camp weekly up until they kicked her out for flipping over the water bucket. she loves water, she's a lab! Their complaint was that the other dogs were "slipping" in the water. I think it's because they got sick of mopping it up. Overall the staff wasn't the nicest. They didn't like our dog which made it an easy transition to a different day camp.

AA Dog's DreamWe have tried multiple grooming facilities over the past few years for our two dogs. We are so happy we found A Dogs Dream a year ago. They do an excellent job and the staff is always incredibly friendly. One of our dogs is from a shelter and tends to be nervous and anxious in these situations.
