ABrian DonovanBrian added a bathroom with tile shower and floor, guest bedroom, large closet, and finished stairs in basement. An egress window was installed. He was always professional and gave evidence of skills with design, carpentry, electrical, tile installation, heating and venting, painting and plumbing (assistant for putting in plumbing through cement floor). He incorporated my ideas along with offering great additional suggestions for design. All work stayed on track within projected timeline with Brian on the job directly sometimes with an assistant. Brian sent daily text updates with pictures. Everything was beautifully finished, works perfectly, and gives evidence of an expert craftsman. If you are considering hiring Brian to work on your home, yes yes ...hire him. I am totally happy with his work and collaboration.- Alicia A.

CRay's Handyman ServiceFrame was installed on date and in approximate time as contracted. A small part from the door was later found missing. I am still waiting for the part to be installed to ascertain whether the door and frame are functioning together properly. It's beginning to be too long of a time for a simple install.- Stephen G.

AFrom the first phone call this was the most professional experience I've had with anything done at my home. Sales person was accurate, office personnel polite and responsive, and installation guys were wonderful. I've had other windows installed and this experience was by far much better. AI was searching for a window installer and checked most of the regulars you hear about. I decided to do a search on Angie's List and Nexgen Widows and Doors were on the list. I had them install half the windows in the house in 2011. I did not know they were still in business until searching in Angie's. I have had zero problems with the windows or installation of the older windows. I invited them over and the price quoted was more than competitive with those I had already received. Knowing my previous experience with Nexgen and finding out that the lead installer Randy was still working for them sealed the deal. I am very happy with the installation of the final four bedroom windows and one bathroom window and expect that I will have the same lack of problems in years to come. I do know that Mark, the owner, will answer his phone and be responsive if the need arises.

AOverall, Northside did an excellent job. Work was completed in a timely and efficient manner and the company was careful to protect the house and landscaping. There was only one job related misstep and the company accepted responsibility. The problem was thoroughly corrected promptly and professionally. Workers were respectful of property, courteous and approachable. Josh, the general project supervisor, a professionals professional, was a pleasure to work with. The estimate was accurate. The contract was detailed and fair. Craftsmanship while unexceptional, was acceptable. Some minor damage to gutters and incomplete post job cleanup was noted, but quickly and completely corrected when brought to the company's attention. Altogether, a responsible, responsive and ethical company. We would recommend Northside to our friends and neighbors without reservation.
