Job was completed in short order. Basement is completely, FRP paneling was installed and looks great throughout. My only complaint is that there was a ton of concrete dust left behind, both in the basement and tracked through the family room. I would still recommend them.

Had Paul come out to give me an estimate to do some drain tile work in our front yard. Was very punctual and showed up when he said he would. Discussed a couple of different options and took the one that he recommended. Gave me a price and an approximate time when he could do the job. He actually came earlier than he said he would.showed up with 3 other workers and went right to work. He actually didn't use a piece of equipment that he said he needed, so he adjusted the price accordingly. Finished the job in a timely manner, cleaned up, reseeded the dug up area and left. I must say that I have had absolutely no problems with standing water since he did the job. Even tied the downspouts from the gutters into the drain tile. I highly recommend PJK construction if you need any drain tile work done.

Shaun was not only on time, but was early. He was extremely personable and professional. He gave my basement a thorough inspection and made some recommendations. We then went outside to look at the foundation and the areas around the basement windows (my area of concern). Shaun pointed out some problems, explained how he would remedy the situation, and then provided a written estimate. He answered all of my questions and left me with the estimate and no pressure to book today.
I appreciated his demeanor, candor, and professionalism. I appreciate the time he took answering my questions and addressing my concerns. While I didn't book today, I have a feeling that once I get a few other ducks in a row I will be calling him in regards to performing the work talked about.

Everything went well; however they were supposed to come back next day to seal up a missing block on outside of house. Never came back. We weren't charged for it so no real complaint - juSt disappointed. Would have cost another &75 or so. We'll just do it ourselves in the spring.

They had a very busy season so it took them a while to get to the work - however they kept me informed of the delays. When the work was scheduled, they were very prompt and professional. There was a necessary two day wait for the mortar to dry before they applied the Thoroclear and they again were prompt in returning to do the finishing work.

Cut wall open, installed drain tube, cut channel in basement floor to sump pump. Installed drain tile from crack to sump pump. Filled crack and covered with plastic shield. Poured concrete in trench and finished. No more water.

Called Paul to get an estimate to install drain tile in our front yard. Returned my call promptly and we set up a day and time for us to meet to discuss our problem. Showed up on time and we discussed the two options that he recommended to solve our drainage problems. Suggested the one option that he would do if it was his house and we decided on that option. He gave us a price and approximate date when he could do the job. We agreed on both counts and waited to have the job done. Had some landscape work scheduled for the front yard and gave Paul a call to inform him of our intentions. He sent his crew over to do a partial part of the project so he did not have to deal with the new landscaping as per my request. He then called and asked if it was convenient to finish the job on the 5th of Aug. Showed up that day and told us what his plans were to finish. Installed drain tile according to his specs, tied it into the storm sewers, cleaned up the yard, installed grass seed and left. Very friendly crew, great owner, and very professional from beginning to end. Readjusted the price of the project because he did not have to use a specific piece of equipment . Highly recommend PJK for any of your drainage problems.

A few things were left out by the estimator.  He failed to mention that the crew would jackhammer open the basement floor to test the drain tiles before any work would be completed.  The crew chief said if the drain tile system does not work properly they would need to replace all the drain tiles ($$$$) around the inside perimeter of the basement.  Fortunately our drain tile system was okay except for the corners.  They said corner repairs would not be guaranteed.
The other problem I had was the amount of dust generated.  The estimator did not stress that point.  When speaking to the secretary to schedule the work she answered my questions concerning how dirty things could get.  Upon her advice, we removed almost everything we could from the basement and wrapped the furnace and storage shelves in plastic and covered things in dropcloths. I might have been very upset if we had not been well prepared. The company does cover your floor in plastic to prevent any dirt or damage.
It has been a month and our basement is dry for the first time. We solicited 3 companies for the job.  All of them had approximately the same price.  The reason we choose Young waterproofing is because they are a member of National Association of Waterproofing Contractors and Structural Repair Contractors and have had several articles published in the Buffalo News concerning basement water repairs for homeowners.

Came when they said they would and performed the work satisfactorily.  It is now several months later and have had no water on the floor.
