She's a physician that listens to what you have to say and bases her recommendations on that. Even if it's not in her particular field of expertise, she will provide great recommendations for other physicians. And, if she has knowledge on something she will share it with you.

The waits are sometimes long and the reason that the waits are long is that he spends a lot of time with each patient, he's very thorough. He was treating my knees and found another problem with my hand.  I had knee surgery and that surgeon told me if it isn't better or you don't see an improvement the only thing I can do is I'll recommended you to somebody that does knee replacement. I saw the rheumatologist and he prescribed me something that I rub on my knees it works like a leaf. You rub it on so it doesn't have to pass through your kidneys to get to the point of inflammation. You rub it on your knees I do twice a day and my knee where I couldn't bent it I had to pick it up to get into a car I can bend knees I can kneel at church, I have two knees again. No surgery.

They have a number of offices. It is a huge practice with a lot of doctors. They have every specialty I can think of. One of the good things about this practice is that almost all their doctors are board certified. The building you would visit will depend on the specialist you would want to go to. They show a high level of professionalism. You can always see a doctor. Somebody will be there to see you. They have an urgent care if you need stitches and such. You can call in 24 hours a day. All the records are digitized. Any doctor you see in the practice will have all your records. They do everything for me. If you need any tests done, it is all done in the practice, including colonoscopy, endoscopy, x-rays, echocardiogram, stress test, blood test; etc. I had an MRI from them a week ago. The cardiologist is always late, though. The others are fine. I go back there because I get good doctors. I will continue to use this practice in the future.

I go monthly. They are professional, the office is nice and the staff is friendly. The doctor is good and she addresses my concerns. I really love their office staff, they are helpful. I've been with them a couple of years.

    Becker, Dr. Alfred
We began with heavy steroid treatment to get the inflammation under control.  In late March Methotrexate treatment began.  When I did not respond to this common DMARD we began treatment with monthly injections of Simponi.  By late August the response to the Simponi was weak at best, he suggested trying monthly Actemra infusions.  I am currently two months into the Actemra treatments and joint use is starting to improve.  With any treatment of this disease is a slow process of finding what works for each patient.  Dr. Becker has kept me informed of what to expect and rapidly moved on when treatments did not prove successful.

I like that she really thinks. She takes time to listen to me and answer any questions. I was very sick and I saw 3 rheumatologist before and no one could tell me what was wrong until I began seeing Dr. Kramer.

My partner ended up going there and he liked him so I started going there. He's very caring. I think he knows this business. His office is in a house but it's clean. I don't have a problem with their billing and administration because I'm on medicare. I'll absolutely use him again.

From start to finish -- fine doctor. At first I was a little put off by his deadpan bedside manner, but now I see him more as a person and get his "subtle" personality. He is on the quiet side. I am not.

    Giles, Dr. Jon T.
I liked him very much.  I have seen him twice and it was worth the trip, which is 2 hours for me.  He is smart, warm, and compassionate - pretty much what you want from a doctor.  I liked him very much and I will continue going to him.  New York Presbetirian is a wonderful facilty.  It is convenietly located and has valet parking.
