    Physical Therapy Center of Excellence
Over the past several years Physical Therapy Center of excellence (PTCOE) has repeatedly provided me with a outstanding physical therapy for multiple issues. They are truly "a cut above the rest" compared to other PT Groups I've dealt with in the past. The culture of this organization, is one of inclusiveness where the Therapist truly listen and educate the patient; hence, a team is formed to facilitate the best possible outcome on the healing process. I highly recommend PTCOE to anyone who is looking for an outstanding PT Group which is lead by Rick Richardson, the backbone of this culture/excellence in physical therapy. Rose T.

Following a motor vehicle collision I had neck and shoulder pain limiting my ability to drive long distances, lift heavy objects, and even sleep. I reconciled the idea of being stuck with a "bad neck and shoulder" until I went to PTCOE. The good-natured staff members; Kristy, Gabi, and Adriana, were friendly and pleasant. Kristy especially went out of her way to advocate for me, the patient, aiding me in navigating insurance claims and responsibilities. Therapists Rick and Karin were both terrific. Most of my sessions were spent with Karin who proved to be a knowledgeable and efficient therapist. She was rapid in her assessment and diagnosis, explained treatments to me and balanced different forms of therapy; electric stimulation, hands on and exercises. Karin was professional, empathetic, and worked magic on my neck and shoulder. Discharged from their care I felt incredible and was able to get back to normal day to day activities pain free and the hobbies I love! I'd recommend PTCOE to anyone. Thank you Rick, Karin, Kristy, Gabi, and Adriana!

    Connecticut Family Chiropractic
I came to Connecticut Family Chiropractic. We looked at X-Rays of my spine. I got an exam. Dr. Sclafani discussed what type of treatment I required. I went for an adjustment, and received physical therapy. It is easy to get an appointment, and these doctors at Connecticut Family Chiropractic know that if you are there, it's not because you want to's because you need to be. They focus on getting their patients better.

    Silberman, Dr. Marc R.
For emergency saw me same day. He is awesome. He is an athlete and runs iron man and marathons. He does performance testing for sports people although I am not one of them. He did not keep me waiting and is not arrogant like many orthopedic doctors. He even has a pinball machine in his waiting room to keep childen occupied.

Dr Kramer was great. He spent time with me and really listened. Then he outlined all of my options, complete with advantages and disadvantages for each one. I would highly recommend him.

Dr.   Sripad Dhawlkar performed the surgery.  Initially he stated it would take approximately  six hours, however the surgery lasted 8 hours.  The reason for the extra hours (I was told by his Nurse Practitioner, assistant) was he found something that didn't show up on the MRI and said "I have to address this because I have to give her the best mobility and freedom from pain". She went on to say that  he would not "close" until he accomplished that Recovery in the hospital was brutal.   I needed three blood transfusions, and at one point staff thought I had a heart attack (which I didn't) because my vitals were below normal range and my blood count was low. Oh, and yes I was made to walk to the bathroom with assistance (not) Thank God for the morphine drip and two oral pain meds. I was on the cardiac unit for two days.  Dr. D came in a few times a day to observe me and read my chart.  I was rescued and transferred to the rehab unit where the fun of walking continued with a twist of therapy.  I was taken off the morphine drip which left the two oral meds.  My vitals were still low, but I was improving.  I remember once I was left in the big shower room down the hall so I proceeded to take a shower!  It was only until I was walking down the hallway till someone notice I was unattended (that would be one of the Administrators of the hospital. Dr. D. spoke with me several times while I was on this unit. I was glad to be home, but still in a lot of pain, and fighting not to take the pain meds.  I couldn't roll an inch without being in pain. I began in-home therapy after about a month, and was determined to get back on my feet again.  I advanced to out-patient therapy where I went for several months.   scouters weeks went by and I had my first post op visit and my "daggers" (souchers) removed.  Every month after that I received an Xray and follow up exam for a year.   I gave Dr. D permission to give anyone "on the edge" of having this procedure my telephone number to hear my story.  Several people called I put my entire trust in Dr. D. because I saw in him compassion and confidence from the first time I walked into his office.  He explained everything by showing me my MRI pictures and he did not push the procedure.
