AMetropolitan Moving & StorageExcellent. My wife and I moved our family (two kids and one large dog) from DC to Connecticut in the midst of a pandemic this summer. What was anticipated to be a high-stress series of mishaps turned out to be a no-stress smooth ride. Metropolitan was on time on both ends, respectful of the current health norms/protective measures, and did not damage or lose a thing. Seems like a low bar, but these days it's anyone's guess. There’s this online service where it had 5-10 different moving companies contact me back with an estimate and this company came in a couple of hundred bucks lower than everybody else. The movers were fantastic. They were very conscientious and careful with the furniture, and the made the move and everything very smooth. You can trust them they will not break your trust. ATikTok MovingTikTok Moving managed to move us very quickly and carefully. We had to move everything we had in our four bedroom house, and that meant that packing would take longer. The team is very organized in how they assessed my furniture and belongings so they knew how to load and unload the boxes and furniture in a way that wouldn't make it difficult for me to unpack especially in such a tight space like my studio apartment. ATikTok MovingThe TikTok Moving sent his crew and they arrived early with smiles and introduced themselves to us. After walking through the 3-story townhouse that we moved from, they started to work. Within a few hours all of our furniture and belongings are in their truck, and after another few hours they are sitting in our new home quite a long distance away. ARob The Mover made moving so much easier than I expected. The team arrived with a very large truck early on time, moved everything very quickly and was helpful putting back tables together in the new place. Everything was done much faster than I expected. The guys doing the move were extremely good. Cannot speak highly enough of them. They took control of all the heavy lifting. No fuss. No damage. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

DThe company was good until the movers damaged the flooring and some furniture. The movers themselves admitted to the damage. Schleppers requested 2 estimates for there-airs which we got. Full premium coverage was paid for and now Schleppers is dragging their feet for months by not willing to pay what the cost was to make it as it was prior to the move. The floors were 3 years old and new planks weren’t longer available so the floors, part of approx 700 sqft needs to be sanded and redone. Schleppers will not even pay 1/5. We have witnesses and the movers own admission. Think twice before hiring as your full insurance premium payment gives you nothing at Schleppers. If thinks how they treat their customers as we have experience then run if you have nice stuff and like to keep it in one piece. After the move we also miss 2-3 boxes.

ABetter than one could ever expect. Three guys (some movers are only using two right now because of Covid), they were so helpful with some items that weren't completely ready to go, took great care over some cartons with fragile items, were excellent about repositioning the furniture if I changed my mind about where I wanted it. The new apartment involved using an elevator, which was not reserved for the purpose, and with all that, the entire job took only 3 1/2 hours. I was a nervous wreck but once I got there I realized I was in good and patient hands. Also: When I submitted a quote request online, I got a reply phone call within less than two hours. They weren't cheap but boy, you get what you pay for.

AOutstanding! The nicest folks, both in the offices and on the trucks. When the move was completed, we had the following situation: nothing broken, nothing missing. The move took 2 days as it was a multi family home. These guys, without exception, worked non-stop! There was no fooling around, no cell phone conversations, no wasted time, period. They had the truck unloaded in approximately 2.5 hours. I had estimated that it would take most of the day! How wrong you can be! 🤣🤣. These guys are fantastic, flexible and understanding. The women who manage the phones........can’t ask for better!! I would recommend them without hesitation! 👍👍❤️
