The technician arrived at my home around 6:30-7:00 pm on a Friday evening & my intention was to obtain an estimate for services, but I ended up signing a contract because I wasn't thinking clearly. The tech was somewhat unprofessional in that he was looking at my personal papers and making comments the "I'll be there when you make that soup". He had been looking at a recipe I had on a kitchen counter. He placed 4 bait stations in the basement only & then proceeded to tell me that they (the company) would not block any entry/exits until next visit to allow for mice to eat bait & leave house looking for water. He did not place any bait stations in the garage and told me that he could not make the determination regarding a mud tunnel on the garage wall, that someone else from the office would have to look at it. (which they did- no termites) For the money I paid I did not get the service I expected and tried to cancel my agreement with this company within legal time limit, but was told every time I called the office that I would have to speak directly to the tech that came to my home. He convienently never got back to me within the 72 hours I would have had to cancel the contract. I did not receive even close to $267.50 worth of service. My cats caught a mouse after the bait stations were placed.
I had another company come to the house and this time it was a female tech and she was extremely thorough; she even knew that the mud tunnel in the garage was old and was not of concern. I got a single price for a one year contract instead of the "charge you as we go" type contract with Nature's Way. In all fairness I have to say the first company that came to the house to give me an estimate had the same type of "pay as you go" system. The company currently taking care of my home offers a pamphlet that tells you what "package" deals they offer & you pick one and pay one fee for one year service. I am much happier with this arrangement and with their responsiveness.

We had a bat in our home. The bat was removed to outdoors by my husband but we thought that we should find out if there was a larger problem...was it one bat or more. The Cats Eye technician came to inspect the premises and advised we had bats in the attic. Claimed he saw lots of evidence of bat droppings up there. Told me I should be careful because bats are known to carry rabies. The fact here is that very few bats have rabies (something like less than one percent). He said if they are in the attic, it is likely they are in the basement as well. I asked if he actually SAW any bats, and he did not. He said they could be hiding behind the Sheetrock on the ceiling of my attic. I was very concerned. He said the house is old and there are lots of nooks and crannies where they could be coming in. He quoted his outrageous price to remove the bats and seal up the house. He wanted a deposit check for $2125 on the spot and pressured me because he said if we don't deal with it immediately, the bats will hibernate, and nothing else could be done until next May. I did not write a check. Instead I called a local animal control expert who examined the house three days later. He was highly recommended by two friends. He found NO EVIDENCE OF BATS roosting in our home. He said it was likely a one time occurrence, and that there was a potential entry point on our porch where he can install a device for rodent/bat exit in the event another one should come in. The price for this solution: $250. I do not recommend using Cats Eye.

They totally misdiagnosed what was going on. They tried to sell us a service plan we didn't need; in the end, it turned out to be a dead raccoon in the house.
