After having them check on our backyard and help us decide what to change, we found that the prices are very good, for our area, and that they are very welcome to changes and helping you constuct your yard. They will give suggestions and help you every step of the way. They shortly arrived after calling them and I would recommend anyone in the area to hire them for Fencing, Paving, and Landscaping.

    Knockout Masonry Corp
When I contacted Jimmy he set up a date to come to my house to see what the job would entail.  He discussed with us what needed to be done and thought the pavers would look really  nice in the yard.  we agreed and signed a contract a few days later.  Contract was signed in early April and Jimmy thought he could do the job in July some time.  Jimmy called me in early June and was able to do the job sooner than we expected.  On the first day Jimmy and his crew came early in the AM to start the demolition.  Jimmy's father, Bobby was there to supervise the job.  The men that Jimmy had working for him were some of the nicest and pleasant men I have ever had working on my house.  They all worked very hard and really knew what they were doing.  The job took 11 days to complete and we are very pleased with the results.  The back yard looks fantastic.  Bobby was there every day to supervise the work.  These guys did a fantastic job.  I would definitely recommend Knockout Masonry to anyone who needs concrete work done.

    Clearview Tree & Land Corp.
This was the second time we had this company come out. The first time they guranteed that by trimming back a tree it would solve our problems (thousands of mulberries being dropped in our yard). We paid almost $1000 to have the tree trimmed back only 2 months later to have the exact same problem. They also didn't trim as far back as they intiially claimed they would. I had to make numerous calls to the company to get them to come back out and to agree to finish the job (removing the tree) for the price of an addditional $1000.
Well they came on Friday and did a fine job removing the tree. My neighbor and I were splitting the cost however and therefore I handed them $500 for my half, plus $100 in tip. When they went to collect from my neighbor they claimed I only paid $300. THen when she threatened to call me they and quot;foundand quot; an additional $200. Notice no mention of the $100 tip.
Completely unprofessional. i had numerous issues with this company and although they may seem cheaper, they will steal money from you in the end. Go with someone better.

    Clearview Tree & Land Corp.
Provider came and provided a thorough and thoughtful estimate.
On the day of the removal, his crew showed up on time and removed the tree quickly and professionally. They did everything they promised and kept the house clean, which was difficult given that they had to carry the branches through it. The tree was located in the corner of the yard, abutting three neighbors properties. The Clearview team took it down without disturbing the neighbors yards at all.
I'd hire these guys again for sure.

She is the most attentive person , she has referred me to other people . Other landscapers did not even get back to me with an estimate , yet she has really gone out of her way to help me . If she is like this when she is not working for you , I can imagine how attentive she is on the job .

    Clearview Tree & Land Corp.
The guys that came to cut down the tree and grind the stumps were extremely quick and clean. They got the job done without making a mess or causing any damage to the property surrounding the work area. Only issue was with the scheduling department, who I had to call 4 times to get my appointments set up and to get information out of. However, I'm willing to deal with that, due to the excellent work and professionalism of the actual laborers and Oscar (the guy who gives the estimate).

    Jim's Tree Service
We didn't use him because his price was higher than what we wanted to pay. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful but we wanted to pay less. He told us about the tree itself, he knew about the tree, he wasn't interested in doing the work but he was helpful in telling us what was good for the tree itself.

    Clearview Tree & Land Corp.
Overall it was a good experience. Had some trouble with the scheduling but the guys themselves who did the work were great. Very efficient, professional, and quick.
Also I had 4 different companies come out for quotes and Clearview was by far the cheapest. Great rate and great work!

    Arborpolitan Tree and Garden Care

Again, Arborpolitan did not do the work - they only provided an onsite estimate. If I had more money perhaps I'd go with Arborpolitan because of how friendly and knowledgeable they were. But at $1000+ price difference, we needed to go with what makes sense for our budget.

    Urban Arborists Inc
Urban Arborists advertises a free consultation. So on 05-17-2013, I called them at 09:10 hours to schedule a visit.  I was routed to voice mail and left a message with the details of my reason for asking for an estimate.  By 10:15 I had not heard back from Urban Arborists. Since I had to leave the house for a while, I again called them at 10:15 and was once more routed to voice mail so I could again repeat my message.
When I returned home at 13:00 hours there was a message on my answering machine asking that I return the call. I did so an spoke to Eliza. She informed me that what I wanted was not an estimate but an assessment and for that there would be a minimum charge of three hundred and fifty $350..00 dollars.
Since this exercise in semantics struck me as a sleazy "Bait and Switch" tactic typically employed by disreputable contractors, I made the decision not to follow up with an on site appointment. Now I will either go to a free and reputable USDA Extension agent or my local store for a consultation.
