We have worked with him in the past to get some plumbing jobs done around our home.  He is extremely professional and easy to work with all the time.  He is priced fairly and is quick to respond.

Technician showed up at the scheduled time, explained the process, setup his equipment, put down protective drop clothes, cleaned up when he was done. Polite, professional. Nice doing business with them. 16 registers, 4 bed/2 bath/2 story house, with finished baseement

They were very efficient. They cleaned my basement out, they removed the oil tank that was there, and they did a wonderful job. I do believe they do good work. I am a senior citizen. The pricing was excellent. I got a couple of other quotes, and they had the lowest price. The quality is also excellent. They were here and got everything done within a week after I talked to them. They are going to clean the furnace every year, and double check it.

    E & V Energy

The men who came to do the work spent several hours in the basement and then left. After they left we noticed an irritating odor whenever the furnace came on, which I thought might just have been new parts being heated for the first time, but the odor remained. We developed headaches, mild nausea, and tiredness. I called the company back. The man who came said he checked the furnace out, it didn't seem to be drafting properly and he thought that we needed to call a chimney sweep and have our chimney cleaned. Instead I called a friend who is a handyman and also works on furnaces. When he came, he
showed me the areas of concern-- the furnace had never been vacuumed out and was filthy inside, the seal around the door had not been replaced and was letting in air and letting out enough flame to burn one of the labels off the door itself, and finally the exhause pipe from the back of the furnace to the chimney had been left sitting propped on the top of the flange for the pipe to attach to, never hooked up. All the exhaust from the furnace was being expelled inot the basement and house.
I paid the gentleman who found the problems and took the photos of them to redo all the work that E and V had supposedly done and do it properly. The nasty odor went away, and our new carbon monoxide detector did not detect any more carbon
monoxide. I want to say that I took my pictures and my complaints and went to E and V and talked to one of the owners. He
kept copies of the pictures, and he not only refunded my money to them but also paid the cost of having the job done the second time by my friend. At that point I was satisfied in general, but my insecurities about the reliability of the staff at
E and V remain. Not only was one person guilty of leaving the exhaust pipe disconnected, but the person who came to check out the problem totally overlooked that situation also. In the winter you're going to run your furnace if you are told that it is
fine and has just been fixed. I consider that I was fortunate to have someone I could call to check the situation out. What
if I had just been another old lady assuming everything was all right? If I had left the funace on and gone to bed, would I have died of carbon monoxide poisoning? I think I would feel better knowing that the men who actually came and were involved in this situation actually were fired from their jobs for lack of knowledge and poor work ethics.
to impress on them the gravity of the situation they caused.. They did not appear to me to be overly concerned about any of this. Needless to say, I do not want any of them working on a furnace of mine again; I had a new gas furnace installed the following fall and have had no problem with it to date. It was installed by Fire Hoke Heating and Air Conditioning out of the Syracuse area; they were very efficient and the furnace is working well and much less expensively than the oil one did..

Chiasson's Heating and Air Conditioning Inc.
The goal of this project was to provide my parents with a reliable heating/cooling system. The existing furnace was a 25+ year old wood burning/oil combination unit that was having continual problems operating properly, resulting in my mom burning wood only.
Prior to this combo unit, the house (an 1881 era two story home) had an old Lennox coal burning furnace - most heating was via supplies on the first floor only, and relied on gravity for return only, with no dedicated cold air return ducting.
This was too much work considering her age and the toll Alzheimers is taking on Dad. I live in Northeast Ohio, a good 7 hour drive away. I set up August 16, 2013 as a travel date to come to my parents house and invited several contractors to come and give comparable estimates/quotes for the HVAC system upgrade - with verbally agreed upon appointment times set before making the trip.
Charles Chiasson from Chiasson Heating arrived promptly at the agreed appointment time, and spent a good hour and a half going over all the things that would be done. I felt so comfortable with the meeting that I would have had his company do the work without holding the remaining appointments. Charles was very knowledgeable and desired to meet my expectations. There was not a high pressure sales attempt during our meeting. My professional job duties include hiring and coordinating work with contracting companies in the telecommunications arena, so this type of interface is second hand to me. I could tell immediately that Charles was genuine, honest, hard working, and one who would stand behind his company and work.
Several of the other contractors never showed up for their slotted times, nor even called to cancel their appointments.
I did have a meeting with a second contractor later that day - but I was settled that Chiasson's would be doing the work.
The following week, Mom and I set the date for Chiasson's to do the work on Sept 23 and 24, 2013.
    The work included the following:
*Disconnect the existing Combo wood/oil unit and move to side of basement.
*Installation of a Rheem 95% two stage high efficiency furnace with a variable speed ECM blower system.
*Installation of a Rheem 3 ton 13 SEER central air conditioning system.
*Installation of an AprilAire high efficiency air cleaner.
*Removal of oil in tank in the basement, and removal of tank from the basement.
*Install supply air sheet metal, install new panning and connect new and existing supplies to new furnace.
*Install new return air drops and connect existing returns to existing. All existing duct work and return air joists were cleaned and sanitized with duct cleaning machine.
*Install new PVC venting through side wall.
*Install new black metal piping for LP gas from the LP regulator to new furnace.
*Install new Honeywell two stage heating and cooling thermostat with large LED read and backlight.
*Install a condensate pump with PVC plastic piping to nearest drain.
System startup, check and adjust all system operational parameters.
The work was completed on the scheduled days, and my mom was very impressed with the professionalism of the installers from Chiasson's that did the work. She is also relieved that she doesnt have to go into the basement to throw wood into the old furnace to take the chill out of the morning air.
I want to thank Charles and the entire team at Chiasson's!

    CNY Superior Comfort Systems
At the beginning of the heating season, our furnace would not start. There was a dead bird in the flue. We also had the furnace and hot water heater serviced.

There's not a lot of detail to provide about the work CNY Superior Comfort has done at my home. The important thing is the work they've done as a subcontractor for my weatherization company. We've worked with more than a dozen subcontractors, and CNY Superior Comfort is the only one that demonstrates excellence in every area -- technical expertise, quality control, customer service.

We've done energy audits (which include combustion safety testing) on several hundred homes, and in about 30 percent, the furnace installation was done so poorly that it's dangerous to the people who live there. Sometimes it's backdrafting carbon monoxide and other flue gasses. Sometimes a loose pipe connection is leaking gas. Most often, it's just a lousy installation done in the cheapest, quickest way by someone who doesn't know what he's doing. So don't trust your HVAC work to just anyone.

One of the owners of CNY Superior Comfort is an engineer. The other has three certifications from the Building Performance Institute. These guys are passionate about what they do, and they do it right. Let them talk you into a geothermal heating system. It'll pay for itself pretty quickly in energy savings.

    Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning
They were very, very fast. They were very prompt and arrived on time. They performed the job a lot faster than I expected them to. They were very nice and answered any questions we had. They explained what they were doing. They had the thing up and running cooling the house in just a few hours. They were courteous, prompt and attentive. We did some shopping around and they had the best price. We will use them anytime we need anything heating and air wise.

    HOME DEPOT
The contractor who installed our window treatments did an excellent job. But shopping for supplies at this store is ridiculous. The three projects required 7 trips to the Clay store. In spite of poor service, we kept going back because it stocks everything we need. We've finally decided to never return, even if it means an extra hour of travel time. The poor service includes their phone service. They usually transfer you to three or four different departments, then put you on hold for 10 minutes before the phone goes dead (this happened all 3 times we called). The customer service people are no better in person. They have no knowledge of what's in stock or in what aisle to find it. They'll suddenly stop helping you to help another customer. What should have been 15 minutes of shopping turned into 45 minutes every time. Perhaps the company should spend a bit of money on employee training instead of giving their outgoing CEO a $200 million severance package.
