AFlying Colors Roofing and PaintersSteven and team did an outstanding job turning our home from one with chipped paint from multiple terrible painting jobs and gapping holes from woodpeckers to looking like a brand new home! The team replaced all damaged shingles, removed an old door and added shingles in its place to match the rest of the house, sanded down the old paint (over multiple days) and then painted beautifully. They also took some extra days to remove old wallpaper up our stairs and in our hallways, repaired the drywall and repainted. Every day the team was onsite and ready to work at the time we were told (and usually even early) and the project was wrapped up exactly when we were told, and surpassed all of our expectations. We will definitely be recommending Flying Colors to anyone and everyone in the future.- Matthew M.

AFlying Colors Roofing and PaintersFlying Colors is wonderful! Steven Totilo is incredibly responsive and professional. He provided a detailed contract upon assessment of my home and was very communicative throughout. The team of painters he employs are kind and incredibly skilled! They did everything from power washing, priming, painting the entire house, trim, doors, and gutters, and light carpentry work to replace damaged cedar and trim in just a few days! They worked diligently throughout the heat and were very kind and communicative. The painters did a beautiful job! I appreciated the carpentry work which saved me from sourcing a contractor/carpenter myself. We used Flying Colors about a year ago as well to paint our kitchen and the gentleman on the job was the very same that came to paint my house - and he remembered me! They did a wonderful job then, which is why I reached out to Steven for a much bigger project. The price point is very reasonable for a young person like myself to afford, one of the more reasonable I encountered in searching for a painter in the Stamford area. Not only is the work done quickly, efficiently and of the highest quality, every one of the team seemed to make every effort to walk the extra mile. Every question was answered, every request or change during the project was handled very well. The cherry on top was the fact that they kept the work area clean and organised, were respectful and friendly, even cheerful . It is a group of trained professionals who take pride in their craft and who are treated well by the owners. And no wonder. Jay is just a great guy in every way. They are very good workers, clean and neat and they are very nice people. They have also painted most of the interior of our home as well. AGikas Painting, Roofing and RestorationWe recently hired Gikas Painting & Contracting to perform the following services on our 100 yr old house: exterior painting, wooden window reglazing and new gutter installation. The job was overseen by Hernane Vilaca, our project manager. Under his direction the project proceeded seamlessly. Hernane was always available and responded to emails, texts and phone calls in a timely manner. He stopped by on a daily basis to check on the job's progress. Everyone from Gikas was very professional. Amalia, Gikas color consultant, was extremely helpful in guiding us through our color selection. The painters worked tirelessly. They arrived every day at 8:30 and worked until 6:00. They cleaned up at the end of the day and were very courteous. We couldn't have been happier with the results and have received many compliments. Jay was accessible whenever needed, and listened carefully to some specific requests. His crew was professional, punctual, skilled and seemed genuinely happy to be working for Jay on our job. It was not unusual for one or more members to break out in song while working. The job required the repair or replacement of wood trim. These repairs were handled with skill in top quality wood. AWe had a truly great experience with Surface Resto Inc! Washing and re-sanding our pavers! I completed the form on his website and then received a call to discuss the scope of the job and the various options we had. Pricing is transparent, which I appreciate since it means no surprises. He worked with a face mask and communicated with me via text throughout the process. After the work was completed he explained the next steps ( how long to stay off the pavers) and provided tips for maintenance. I hope to have him return again in several years once the work needs to be completed again.

AExcellent. Precision Painting Plus was not the lowest quote I got, but I chose them based on reviews, on-site meetings with them, and the overall vibe of professionalism & calm I got from them. And boy am I happy I did. They were able to pull off a mini-renovation of my new home in an impossible time frame, with holidays in between, and during a pandemic. I had work-in-progress concerns along the way, but Brendan and Matt assured me that all will go well. And it did. They were able to get so much accomplished and completed in time for my move in date, and ultimately the Christmas holiday. I am very grateful for their hard work and efforts.
