    WANTAGH ANIMAL HOSPITAL
They are are compassionate. I can't say enough things about them. They have very personalized service. They know us well. Very compassionate, all of the staff. Its high, but everything is high in this area. I am of an age, and I remember when it wasn't these prices. Everything is big business, and have all these fees. They have the right to their business.

The doctor was wonderful and they tell you so much. I have been going there for 10 years.  They are just wonderful and gentle with the animals. They work with you and right now I am on social security and it is real hard for me to spend this kind of money and veterinarian is real expensive. They will try to get me a different kind of medication of the animal needs it. It is cheaper and effective.

    Meadowbrook Animal Hospital
We visited the doc last week for yearly check up, she had operated on this cat a
year ago. Vet had removed the cat colon and saved cats life. During yearly
check up discovered cats teeth were in really bad condition. After discussing
options with us it was decided best thing was to extract some of them. Set an
appointment for today, I brought cat in @ 8am and picked up at 4:30. Paid for
services and got meds. They did want downpayment when I dropped cat off , but
I explained I gave credit card to my wife since she was to pick up cat and we
were trying to keep cat bills on all one card. Girl said no
    problem.

    WOODS AV ANIMAL CLINIC
We hadn't been to the Vet in quite sometime.  Dr Gower and his staff were very friendly and very respnsive.  They treated my pit bull/shepard mix with utmost confidence and patience.  Dr. Gower was very thorough in both his examination and explanation. Gave me as much time as I needed to understand all the information provided. I'd refer any pet owner ...in a heartbeat!

They are fantastic! They are very attentive, and accommodating of your pets in emergencies and otherwise. Also, they are clean and their price is reasonable. They make sure that they have a rapport with your pet. Their wait time is just minimal. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

    MALIBU PET HOTEL
I feel safe with him there and he comes back cheerful. They are very careful about the health of the dogs they board and do a really good job. I wish they had longer hours during which I could drop him off and pick him up, and their prices are not cheap...but i am getting quality care and peace of mind, so I continue to rely upon them. The people there are solid, nice and really care about animals. They also went out of their way when I needed to use them during Hurricane Sandy. I strongly recommend them and will continue to board my dog there.

    Levittown Animal Hospital
Everything went smoothly with our puppy's surgery, but we have also used Levittown Animal Hospital for our other 2 dogs for the past 3 years. Dr. Leon has a wonderful and pleasant manner with our pets, always returns phone calls (which I value very much!) and has reasonable rates for services.

    Crawford Animal Hospital
I find them to be very good doctors but very expensive. They provide excellent care to my pet. They care and share with you what they are doing everyday and keep you up-to-date for the last 24 hours. I would continue to use Crawford Animal Hospital again in the future.

I have seeing two of the vets over there Dr. Perrier and Dr. Foy and both of them are just so gentle with the animals. They expect to give an elderly animal all the shots and they just give them the things that they definitely need. They don’t give the animals the unnecessary shots which is outrageous. They work with the animals; understand the age, what they can tolerate and what they can’t tolerate. So I like that they don’t try to force unnecessary services on us.

    CENTRAL VETERINARY ASSOC
We moved over to Central Veterinary Associates (CVA) recently after a bad experience with our long time Vet. Our 8 yr. old Bulldog Rosie had developed a significant limp in her right leg. In addition, she was lethargic and in obvious discomfort. Her eyes were red, runny and heavy. We were told Rosie was overweight (she is not), probably has arthritis, and was suffering from allergies. We were told to watch her weight and give her aspirin. We started her on the aspirin regime and she proceeded to vomit after every meal. Her leg was becoming increasingly worse and she was unable to put any pressure on it. Her eyes were so bloodshot and runny that she could barely keep them open. Our happy, go lucky, bulldog was losing her spirit and we knew it was time to make a change. CVA came highly recommended to us and immediately it was easy to see why. Rosie met with Dr. Charos who was very well informed and took the time to answer our questions while giving a fair amount of time for the examination, all the while being gentle and caring with Rosie. After being educated on many things that needed attention, we agreed to immediate treatment which included an over night stay. Rosie was given a complete work up which encompassed a full blood analysis, f body x-rays, a biopsy of a growth on her chin, an EKG, and a dental exam which included cleaning her teeth. She was diagnosed with severe arthritis in her spine, the limp in her leg turned out to be a torn ligament that was never properly diagnosed and was now healing itself, and the issues with her eyes were a result of two infected molar. Soon after her release we received a complete diagnostic case report detailing all of Rosie's tests, treatments and results. She was prescribed remedies that took into consideration her weight, breed, age and condition. We received a DVD with her x-rays and a dental chart with photographs showing us where the damage to her teeth was and how it was now corrected. We received follow-up phone calls on a continuous basis inquiring on Rosie's status. The staff at CVA knew exactly what day was her last on the antibiotics and called the next morning to see how she was managing without them. End result, my faithful, joyful clown was back. CVA's expertise and concern cannot be topped. We are beyond pleased by the professionalism of the staff and veterinarians. They treated our pet and us like we are part of their family. As a human I should be so fortunate to find a practice that is this thorough, compassionate and professional and, as an animal lover, I am so grateful that CVA is there.
