    I go to them because they are reasonable. I keep going back. They are pretty good guys. I never have to take the car back. If sometimes I call, is it busy and if it's a good time to come and they will let me know. Very professional guys.

    Standard fee for inspection which is $37 by the States. Every year you have to have your car inspected. I have used them before. They are pretty nice. You can't go into this area where they do work. I was in waiting room with a TV. I waited little bit more than normal. Something that they needed they had to send out for the parts. They order it and then some people that bring the parts to repair places, they brought it. That took longer than normal. I didn't know that was what they were doing. I was wondering what was going on. I get up and inquired and asked why was it taking so long. They were saying that they had to get some type kind bolt or plug or something they didn't have in stock.  I didn't know that they sent out for the parts. They were a little pricey. It's convenient in some way, so I will use them.

    I was charged $228 dollars for mounting four new tires which I supplied.  I also provided a new wheel worth more than $400.  The wheel was delivered in new condition and ended up badly scratched by someone at the shop.

    Paul gives the world of auto repairs a good name, and that is hard to do because so many places try to take advantage, especially when the customer is a woman. Paul is honest and his prices are always fair and sometimes surprisingly low. And he believes in trying to accommodate customers. He always makes room on his schedule when my car needs emergency repairs. My husband and I have gone to him for 20 years and have never been disappointed. Dealerships, take note.

    This service station is right around the corner from my house. I was getting gas one morning when the man operating the full service pump told me they also do oil changes. How convenient to be able to walk home from there instead of waiting! Only, I barely needed to wait. When I brought the truck in, they quickly changed the oil and also advised me that I would soon need an inspection. I will definitely use them again. 
    However, they charge more than other local stations for gas, and in the morning (when I'm rushing), they take their time pumping. That can be a little annoying, and is the reason they get a "D" for punctuality.

    They had trouble diagnosing the problem but kept at it until i was satisfied and on the original estimate. I know that they took a lost on this repair but they have always stood by their repairs.
    They will tell me "this has to be done now", "this should be done soon" and "this will eventually need to be done. "
    At first I'd get second opinions, now I just trust them.

    I keep going back because they are available, and the hours are comparable to what I need. Price is reasonable enough. They do tell you how much it's going to cost and then if you feel that you don't want to get something done they don't pressure you. You go there and you don't have to make an appointment. Sometimes the wait is a little bit long but they take care of whatever you need to have done. If you need to get there at the last minute, they will accommodate you.

    This wasn't my first visit to Venturi; I've gone there intermittently over many years, and they've always fixed problems no one else acknowledged, much less attempted to fix.  I've officially lived in Massachusetts since 1965 but this is the best service station I've found anywhere (including the famous bright Cambridge public radio brother team!).  This was my father's favorite after his first visit and the owner, Frank, still remembers both my parents well, though my Dad passed away in 1998 and Mom followed in 2010.  
    Yesterday's emergency was that the circular grip for my oil dipstick broke off over a month ago while I was in New Hampshire and I haven't been able to get (or assess my need for) oil or find anyone at the 15+ service stations (in NH, MA, CT, NJ and NY) I visited since it happened willing to even try to dislodge the lower part that was stuck in the tube.  This includes the local Long Island Chrysler dealer/service dept - where I was told (when I went there yesterday to pick up the dip stick I'd ordered the day before because I was promised that someone would remove the stuck piece yesterday) their first opening is November 30th - in 10 days - and I'd have to leave the car with them all day.  I am about to drive to NJ for Thanksgiving, then back here to NY, then home to Cambridge next week and knew I couldn't wait that long for oil.  
    Fine automobile mechanics are artists.  The work sometimes requires a rare degree of invention.  Frank worked carefully and gently to avoid further damage to my car, realized that drilling into the rubber piece (which was what the dealer's service department said they'd do) would only push the stick in further and after three very different methods he devised, he was able to get the stick out in about 45 minutes and then gave me a discount in honor/memory of my Dad.  
    Frank and his son, Peter, run the best family service shop anywhere.  We're selling my parents' home next week, but I can easily imagine driving 4-5 hours to consult them should I encounter automotive mysteries in the future.  They're great.

    Lou Paulmbo the owner of Gullwing is an expert in the care and maintenance of the Mercedes line of autos. 
    My car is a 1995 E320 Cabriolet that I purcased from it's second owner. 

    The car was starting to have issues and I heard from a friend that Gullwing would be able to sort out the problems and get me going again. 

    Gullwign exceeded my expectations and my "baby" is running like a new car.  The car currently has 64,000 miles on the odometer.  I am confidant that Gullwing can keep this car going for many more years and miles.
