"Very good experience from start to finish.
did a great job helping us find a quality carpet in our price range. They were very flexible in" ordering and scheduling our install. Would use again for any flooring needs.

-Matthew S.

"The only problem we had was there were black fingerprints on the walls when the installers left. We didn't notice them before they left. We were able to fix" the problem ourselves with a Magic Eraser.
was told about it and offered to wash down our walls but it wasn't a major problem so we told them they didn't need to come. The installation was done professionally and the results were definitely to our satisfaction. We would use this company again.

How to Choose the Right Carpet for Your Home

One highly rated provider shares important considerations homeowners should make when choosing the carpet for various rooms in their home.

Carpet and rugs

Wood or tile floors are good in some rooms, but most homeowners prefer to install carpeting in living rooms and family rooms, especially when children are small. Here are tips on the types of carpeting available and how to pick the right one for your home.

If you're looking for eco-friendly flooring, research the composition of the flooring, as well as the adhesives and glues.

Most  reputable carpet stores should be able to help you, they know what is available. and should be able to find a good carpet for a good price. sometlmes they will buy overruns that are a good value. Also,   make sure they do use a power-streacher when they install the carpet! Pat All Carpet Repair

Carpet with pad purchase cost $10-20 for really economy cheap stuff, $20-30 for normal brands, and $30-50/SY (square yard) for high-end carpet, to $100 or more for custom or gold thread and such.

Installation cost does not change much depending on what varpet is installed - generally about $10-20/SY.

So, for normal medium-range carpet I would assume $30-50/SY.

I called
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
early this morning and because he took the time to drive over to our place before his next job our carpet to new tile transitions on concrete floors and our carpet to new tile transitions on wooden floors is done! I actually considered doing this myself, I am so glad I didn't! I would have had to purchase all the materials and what if I'd cut too much of the carpet!
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
also took the time to repair the carpet to tile around our front door and fireplace that after seven years of wear and tear began to unravel. It now looks brand new.
Thank you

I called Clawe's Carpets (Friday, Aug. 21). I was interested in having measurements done for carpet removal and installation. They agreed to send out
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
, who came on Saturday (Aug. 22) morning to measure the townhouse. He updated me about his estimated arrival time and was professional and thorough, as well as friendly. So everything so far was good and I was hoping to get them to install my carpet. However, things from there went downhill as I never received follow-ups on price quotes for the install. There was no sense of urgency (or even a desire to do the job) shown based on the fact that I had to keep calling for quotes but never received follow-ups.
My wife and I went into the store the following Monday to select a carpet. Granted, it was 20 minutes before closing (we work in DC and the store is in
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
) so we quickly selected a carpet (we were out of the store in time and didn't make anyone stay there past closing time). The sales rep in the store was very rushed and printed out a quote for us, which appeared to be for the wrong rooms. Because
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
did the measurement, she said she should check with him and he would give us a call the next day. The next day came and went and he never called. I then called again later that week (on Thursday I believe) asking her if
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
was going to call me. He didn't call until I followed up again a week or two later. This time, he spoke with me, said he would get the quote for the right rooms, and then call back from 6-7 PM. I awaited his call and never received a call or voicemail. I gave up, because I didn't have time to try to track them down if they weren't interested. I can't vouch for their work, which I'm sure is great, but unfortunately I didn't have the
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
to work with them. Their showroom and selection of carpet looked nice.

Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
showed up during the time period quoted. He was very professional and kind when I was showing him the carpet. During the work
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
took the time to realize that the tack boards were not secured to the floor properly . He took the extra time needed to secure the tack boards properly before stretching the carpet and at no additional cost. I would highly recommend

Everything went very well! They did an excellent job. About a week after they left, a little leak came back and they came back and fixed it right away! They carpet and tile is perfect!
- Sandra S.

Overall it was a very smooth experience. I got a quick appointment for an in home carpet sampling, and the options to choose from were good. I was very pleased with the estimate process because they made me feel very comfortable with what I was getting. There was no pressure or stress, and we were able to take our time in choosing the right carpet and color. The installation was performed a week later and was completed in about four hours. Everything looks great. There were a few nicks and scratches on the walls, but I had touch up paint, so it wasn't a major problem, and
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
compensated me with a small discount.

We were relocatng to this new home from out of state. We built our move around the completion of the purchase and installation of this replacement flooring. We diecided on vinyl laminate plank flooring and new carpet and pad for a cost of about $5k. The installation was estimated to be about $2k with the understanding that it may vary a bit due to the cost of trim. The product delivery went off without a hitch and the quality of the products matches our expectation. The problem started with the installation costs and quality of the trim.
Cost for installation ended up at $4k. I would say that is more than a bit higher than the pricing we agreeed to. I was not in a position to just say stop and let's sort this out as the delivery of our household was in progress. My disappointment stems from the fact that the sales person and those whom I spoke with since then have spent all of their time-either ignoring me
or trying to justify or explain away this high cost. So basically providing me with lip service.
If you as the sales person forgot to include the removal of the flooring, which is noted on the floorplan, and if you forgot about the costs of moving a washer and dryer and if you forgot to tell me ...I'm not sure what else I could have done.
I walked in there and spoke with you. I provided you with with a floorplan. I provided you the measurements, told you the house was empty minus a bed in the master , appliances and the washer and dryer. If i had been properly informed I would have and could have easily removed the existing lamintte flooring and moved the washer and dryer but as I've said it was too late once they were here for me to cancel.
I've also sent pictures of the cruddy trim job that was done and asked that it be fixed but as I've already mentioned have heard nothing. When
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
called to ask me how it went I shared my concerns and she said she was going to talk to
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
but nothing came from that other than when I called back a week later she transfered me to the saleguy who did nothing.
Very disappointed.

Worked with the owner
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
and the very nice and professional woman in his office. They are a small company where you don't feel like you are a simply a number. She listened to our needs and showed us several different options ranging from inexpensive to high priced. She never pushed the higher priced line. We went back several times and they allowed us to take samples home with us. We ended up choosing the nylon style which is on the high end. Had an excellent customer service experience. Carpet was installed when it was supposed to be. Their installer
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
is the best I have ever witnessed. I have seen several men

carpet and none of them took the time that
Freehold Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
did to try to minimize seams in heavily trafficked areas. Our carpet was a nylon

which can be very difficult to cut and match seams. But,

did a fantastic job. Highly recommend.

came out to measure and estimate, the price was fair and we had prior experience with him. His crew came out, they called on the way and were punctual. They took care to move the furniture appropriately and installed our rug. The job looked great and we were very happy.

even called a few hours later to make sure that we were happy.
