    George Kenny Contracting
I highly recommend George Kenny. He is professional, patient, honest, human and fair. He is an artist and a technician! He gave me a beautiful deck with absolutely no stress or mess. His extra touches like the shaping of the end of the stair banister, added to the beauty of the deck. I'm anxiously awaiting the new bathroom he'll be doing. It is very refreshing to find a contractor like George Kenny. And my dog (a great judge of character) really likes him.

Lucas was very professional! He scheduled an appointment for me for the same day. He assessed the problem, fixed the wiring and changed the outlet. Very efficient work. Would definitely hire again and recommend to all!

JD Home Remodeling and Repairs Inc
Once the work got started Jim was prompt each day, and his guys were a pleasure -- very clean and courteous. Tile work A+. We have recommended Jim to my sister who has since had Jim do a job that came out great, and is having another one done now. We will be calling Jim to come back to our house soon to do a few more odd jobs!

    Paul's Electric LLC
Everything went really well. Paul is not only an expert at what he does, but is a genuinely nice and helpful person! He worked around our strange schedule, even showing up on Saturday, and took in stride the ever-expanding list of projects we kept finding. He also made a lot of good suggestions, and helped out on several non-electrical projects on a couple of occasions!

    Universe Home Services
They called to see if they could actually arrive earlier than scheduled which was wonderful. Both men, Douglas and Tommy, had been to my residence before and they are very efficient, respectful and cleaned up after themselves. And they're nice guys. Overall I gave them an A, excellent rating. A little high in pricing but their knowledge and efficiency make up for that. I feel safe with them working on the electric in my house and that compensates for the slightly higher cost. It was pouring rain so they brought booties to place over their shoes to protect my floors...very thoughtful and appreciated. I will continue to use Universe's services as I am very pleased with them.

    Floria Electric Inc
Review for Pat Floria of Floria Electronics We went through so many contractors to get our house properly cooled (and warmed for the winter) with ductless hvacs, it was mind-numbing. Pat was the only one who was straight-forward, cared about his work and his clients, and demonstrated true knowledge and skill in what we needed done. He made no empty promises he simply did what he told us he would do. Even contractors we interviewed here on Angies List put on the typical sales show, made ridiculous promises, feigned expertise with silly statements, and so on. We even needed him to fix mistakes made by a previous idiot contractor (he from Angies List!!!). Pat fixed so many little things in the house, as well, and didnt ask for a dime. His prices are extremely fair fair for us, that is, because his skill and professionalism should exact far more than what he charged! The best part? He took the time to explain and fill out paperwork to get us $2,000 in rebates as a Cool Homes contractor, another $250 in rebates, and inform us about the federal tax credit for the work he had done for us. In a few weeks we will have him and his crew back to do more work in our basement. Call Pat first, and then hire him. Dont waste your time with most of the people out there. He did so good for our family.

    Brite Spark Electrical Contracting
SCUMBAG! TOTAL SCUMBAG! Along with other past customers of his, I am suing this sly dirtbag. He MUST be stripped of his license. He is THE reason it is so difficult to trust contractors. He endangered my wife and sons lives with his illegal, shoddy, careless, out-of-code, irresponsible, dangerous work. He promised to do a number of jobs for us - wrote up, detailed, and signed a contract. Brought in other licensed friends to give quotes and lie about prices and what is needed (whom I am also writing about on Angies List). Ultimately, he is a conniving sack of doodoo. He did a terrible job, got his pay, and disappeared. He did not respond to one text, wa, or email after I kept sending him so many for two weeks after he disappeared. Of course, he keeps his voicemail box full so we can't leave a message; twice we caught him on the phone. His curt words before quickly hanging up: Im talking to my account, call you right back. Liar: he never even bothered to call again. This, despite that my wife is disabled, my son only 3 years old, and I am bedridden being just off a hip surgery. He smelled of alcohol in the afternoon on second day of the job. He was all over the place, running around the neighborhood, disappearing for hours during the job, lying about when he would arrive to work. He's a real mess. He was actually referred by our neighbor, whom we learned got a cut from Larry. All of the online and government agency reports and licensing on him check out, for Suffolk County, anyway, but I promise you, not for long. Hes not worthy to be allowed to touch Long Island, let alone live and work here. Scumbag. I am suing him for the full price I paid him plus the thousands I had to pay legit contractor (find my positive review of him here on Angies List) to fix his sloppy, careless, out-of-code work that endangered my family. I am reporting him to the Better Business Bureau (as did a police officer who is also suing him). I am suing and reporting him the the NYS Attorney General, Suffolk County where he lists his business address, and reporting him to Nassau County where I live. Keep this wacked out maniac away from your family. And, I just found out that he lied and is not licensed in Nassau County. Therefore, he brought in an inspector (who would've mocked his job) and he never even filed the job. Want more details: defective and even used equipment, careless work; used cheaper items than listed on receipt; numerous dangerous violations throughout his work of installing new circuit board and wiring; never brought inspector as promised; left cleanup to me being bedridden from surgery; I had to hire a professional electrician to undo his garbage and completely redo the entire job to ensure my family is safe.

    Bianco Electric
Benny came into the job knowing exactly where all my electrical were run in our house.  Having worked locally in the area, his confidence in knowing the exact location of the wires in our walls was amazing.  We wanted all new electric for a new kitchen and his knowledge of where to put the hi-hats and other electrical outlets was outstanding.  We learned a lot from this company and now know who to call and recommend when someone asks for an electrician who knows what they are doing!

    DNJ Home Improvement
Absolutely great! They were fair priced, did high quality work, were able to solve all the unexpecteds that come up in a major renovation. They kept ALL promises, were ALWAYS on time, cleaned up after themselves every day and had the highest quality of workmanship. They went above and beyond in working patiently with my cabinet contractor who was not up to DNJ's high standards. They treated my house as if it was their own. I will immediately call them for any work I need done in the house in the future without bothering to shop around. I recommend them very highly without any hesitation or reservation.
