Daniel (or "Donnie") as many patients commonly call him is a wonderful physical therapist and human being. He is very knowledgeable, thorough in his treatment and more important, very caring. I was a patient in his office for 10 months for a very painful condition, known as myofascial pain syndrome, which caused a lot of pain and limited range of motion in my arms, neck, shoulders, and upper back. In addition, I developed plantar fasciitis in my right foot during the course of treatment for my primary condition. Daniel had many loyal patients who waited patiently for him, as all physical therapists these days see more than one patient at a time ever since managed care became the norm. I was usually able to go into a treatment room or the gym area right away, but sometimes there were long waits for Daniel while he treated other patients, but that's because he was so thorough and wanted to give his patients the care and treatment that they needed. At first, I wasn't even able to use the gym equipment because I was in too much pain, but eventually I graduated to using the Therabands and light weights, and Daniel always stressed the importance of stretching and explained how to do them. While I waited in the treatment room (there was privacy provided by a curtain in between patient tables), I received various modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation and icing after treatment. It was worth the wait for Daniel since he knew exactly what to do and which areas of my back needed the most attention. He didn't mind my questions about medical terminology or anatomy, since he treated me like the intelligent person that I am, which many medical providers do not do. At times, the hands-on treatments, like mobilization of muscles, such as scapular mobilization was quite painful, but I felt much better afterwards, and Daniel's jokes took my mind off the pain. Furthermore, his staff including Gladys, Elisha, and PT interns such as Ethan, were all very helpful when it came to helping with treatment and easily making appointments for further visits. If I ever needed physical therapy again, I would go back to this office.

She was really sweet actually and was just incredibly supportive. She checked up on me every once in a while, and it was really nice. I had absolutely no problems at all. The ladies at the desk were very sweet and very friendly. Her bedside manner and communication was quite good. I would use her again in the future.

My husband recently died and he was taken over to Forest Hill Hospital. He and I couldn’t have been more cared for. They made sure he was comfortable even though he was non-responsive. He was given medicines to stop seizures and he was covered up like a little treasure. He was given a blanket. He was effectively gone, but they made sure that he was comfortable. When I got there, the doctors pulled me aside immediately and they told me that he was not coming back. They were very sensitive about it and were very clear about that communication. They made sure that I didn’t have any delusions. When they moved him from this hospital to a medical ICU at another hospital, they wrapped him up as it was cold outside and draped a blanket over his head so that the top of his head was not exposed. When they were wheeling him out, they asked me if I would want to kiss him goodbye. It was a lovely thing to do. Not only were they considerate of his needs at a time of crisis, they were also sensitive about how it was affecting me. This is quite contrary of a lot of hospitals and another thing is that when you are brought in on an emergency basis, we can’t go any further than the receptionist because we have to fill up the paper work. There wasn’t any question of paper work when I asked them about it. They said we can cover that up later. I was bowled over by that. I would use this hospital again in the future.

They are a big chain. We pay $1,200 a month. They take children from infant to pre-k. They had no black marks when we researched. We like them because they are state licensed and regulated. The kids are fed and taken care of every day. It is a great piece of mind working with an outfit like them. Their price is competitive and the same as others are charging. They return phone calls and emails very quickly. They do the best they can. We will keep our daughter enrolled until she gets too old for it; that’s how much we think of it.

My friend refereed me to doctor Noori as a primary physician. In fact I had tried another doctor in the area and he made a horrible impression on me, all the bad things you can imagine. The appointment was fast and easy. She was very punctual and all the staff is really friendly. The most important part is that she care about my pain and not only performed a physical but also order additional test to discard any other possible problems.  She really exceeded my expectations, this allowed me to recommend her to my husband  (he hasn't seen a doctor for 10 years!!). Again She performed all the analysis and was able to determine some major problems that my husband had been avoiding. Believe me when I said she is the best doctor I have ever met.

They are very good. They are very friendly. He is so friendly that we call him by his first name. They are very efficient and can accommodate you. I had an accident more than a year ago and was unable to walk but I am walking now. I am a little bit wobbly but I am walking and that is a big improvement. They are all very efficient, friendly and very nice.

He is very helpful and unlike a lot of doctors he will sit down and explain things to you and work with you. One of the problems i have is that I have an issue with workers comp and it is. I had a bad accident at work and took 45 days off from work that I am allowed by law and I took only 31 days and they took all my leave away. A lot of my medical bills have not been paid and I am constantly going to him to try and find out what we need to do to open this claim and get it properly settled. His office staff is very friendly and knows who you are and if you call them on the cellphone, your number comes up and they answer the phone with your name. He is very busy and is a young doctor and is still in quite a good practice and he really tries to work with the patients. He is very good at seeing you on an emergency basis, which most doctors aren?t and he works you right in if you have the flu or a cold, and is very accommodating with his schedule. Generally he sees you pretty quickly and tries to work with you on whatever the issue is to try and get it settled. He keeps telling me that it is okay that I am having all these problems and that he hasn?t been paid, but his staff keeps billing me and that is stressful. I am doing everything I can.

I went to Daniel Arye for a painful swollen knee. The x-rays and MRI showed that it was a bad case of tendonitis. I saw (and continue to see) Daniel before the MRI results were in, and he was absolutely correct in saying that the problem was not a torn meniscus as the doctor originally thought. Daniel is a very outgoing and upbeat guy who absolutely loves his work of helping people to achieve mobility and freedom from pain. And his patients appreciate him and love him right back, from what I've seen. His humorous banter helps to encourage people in pain to complete their physical therapy exercises, which may for the time being cause even more pain. I have seen the pain and swelling in my knee greatly reduced as a result of the therapy, and the knee is now almost normal. I hopefully expect to "graduate" from physical therapy in a few weeks. Daniel is ably assisted by the ageless and indomitable "Gladys", who brings a no-nonsense approach to getting some of the more reluctant senior citizen patients to complete their exercises. Her tough-love exterior hides a heart of gold. And there is Vivian, the other therapist who works there. She is as quiet as Daniel is conversational, as calm as he is animated. But in her quiet way, she also gets the job done, a thorough professional. The office is kept very clean, and is equipped with all the usual P.T. toys. There are ankle weights, hand weights, a leg curl machine, a couple of stationary bikes, an elliptical trainer, and machines which provide electrical stimulation and ultrasound therapy, among other stuff. Daniel made a painful condition go away, for which I am grateful. He also showed himself to be a professional whose love of helping people is paramount. He also has another office, Achieve Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation of Long Island, located in Hewlett. The phone number there is 516-593-4530, and the address is 1800 Rockaway Ave Suite 100, Hewlett , NY 11557.

My husband used his services for several years. The doctor was not helpful with problems that would come up. He was unresponsive and wanted to do what he wanted to do and did not listen very well. I had to call at least ten times to get any action on anything. Our insurance covered most of the costs.
