AThey are excellent. Just the vet that owns the hospital and does all the procedures, is a great vet. She is a good person. She is excellent. This is our third dog that she has had. Our other German Sheppard's had problems with their hips, and she makes house calls to the dogs. She would do procedures in the house.- John B.

AAll the visits have been comfortable experiences. Sometimes we've had to wait, but not horribly, and once the cat(s) were in the examining room, they were given all the time they needed. Dr. Hess is very compassionate and also very knowledgeable, and remembers everything about the cats from visit to visit.- Frances B.

AI've used them for twenty or thirty years. I've worked with these people for twenty years, twenty-five years, probably longer. Unfortunately, about two weeks ago, one of my dogs has epilepsy, so whenever he has a grand mal seizure or something, a lot of times I'll take him in just to have him checked to make sure everything's okay. As a matter of fact, he hadn't had a seizure - I was just thinking about it the other day - for like six months, and then it just happened.- Robert C.

AThe visit went very well. The doctor and the assistant were very knowledgeable about cats and my cat had no problems during his exam. The cost for the exam and his annual shots were far less expensive than my previous veterinarian and we had a very good experience.- JOAN W.

AI have been with them for a long time. It is very easy to make appointments. They seem to have very qualified staff there. The veterinarian I use and they have several is excellent. Her name is Dr. Ottenbreight. She is exceptional. The other vets are okay. They have several clinics and they kind of rotate their vets around, but I always arrange to see her. She has taken care of my dog for ten years and very satisfactory too.- Benjamin G.

ADr. Rosen thoroughly examined my 9 year old cat, Jambo, who has heart problems. A blood test was suggested because of his age, but I never felt pressured about it and agreed since I was concerned about the cat's health. Jambo is a skittish cat, but Dr. Rosen was so calm and gentle with him that he was fine and didn't get overly stressed out.
I have 4 cats and take them all to North Shore Animal Hospital for the past 4 years. My cat, Mao, goes 3 times a week because he has a kidney disease and requires fluids. When we go on vacation, we have to board Mao because he needs medication and fluids, and I never worry about him because the doctors and staff all know Mao and are always kind and caring to the animals - as well as the humans. I have recommended them to my neighbors and have no hesitation in giving them my endorsement.

ASaw good online reviews for Dr Jane Cho, who sees clients part-time at Lincoln Sq, so we decided to take our dog there. Dr Cho & staff in general were perfectly fine & professional, no complaints whatsoever. This was our first & only experience here.
We ultimately ended up going to a different practice because a) this was a bit more expensive than quotes we had gotten from other reputable vets, & b) Dr Cho's main practice (& where the prospective surgery would've been performed) is in Westchester -- not convenient for us as we live in Queens.

AIt went well.
I had previously ( 2 years ago) brought in my older cat who was very sick. The vets were very thorough and went over all options and procedures with me. One day when I was waiting for results on a test Dr Luger called me around 9 that evening so I didn't have to wait until the next day(he had a couple of emergencies that day so he couldn't call earlier)
I also boarded my current 2 cats while I had work done in my house and I would board them there again if needed.
Everyone there is very kind, helpful and knowledgeable.

AAppointment kept on time. Dr. Hanna is extremely attentive and seems to genuinely love animals. He is thorough and explains everything he is doing and what he feels is the best course of action for your pet. My first visit was on June 9th. When I called to inquire about the services Animal Empire provided and stated I had a very tiny abandoned kitten that was a rescue - I was told I didn't need an appointment and that the first visit was FREE! When I arrived I waited only 10 minutes before I saw Dr. Hanna. He did a quick and thorough exam - informed me that it was a male, approximately 4 weeks old. He checked for ear mites, fleas, his eyes, took his temperature, weighed him (he was only 6/10ths of a pound) and felt is spine, stomach and hip areas. Luckily everything was OK accept for a minor discharge that was coming out of his eyes - considering he was cold, wet (it was raining the day he was found) and quite hungry. Dr. Hanna recommended milk replacement bottle feeding for the next three weeks and he gave me eye drops to be used for 10 days to address the discharge of his eyes. In one day of using the eye drops the discharge stopped, it took a little convincing but the bottle feeding went great and by the time we had our revisit on July 1st, eyes were all clear and he had gained a whole pound and was extremely active. I then decided to start the vaccination program and I plan on using Animal Empire when it comes time to neuter him. Normal office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and all staff members from the receptionist to the vet aide and the doctor himself are very professional, courteous and friendly. I originally found Animal Empire doing a web search and reading comments on Yelp which had very nice things to say about this place.

ALook past the old facade and decor and this place is top notch. The vets are caring and excellent and not motivated by price - like some other vets Ive used. They truly care about your animal, and do whatever it takes to ensure you are happy. I highly recommend their services!
