AThey are wonderful! The give you the batteries for my hearing aids for life. They work with your insurance. They're very helpful and patient. I would recommend them! They have open hours everyday from 2-3.- Faye E.

F14 NOV 1995 After open heart surgery, my mother was sent to the ICU Post Op area and it took 25 minutes to get pain medication after it was requested.
27 NOV 1995 During a phone call to my mother at St. Francis Hospital, my mother stated she was not feeling well. I asked the nurse if she can help feed her because she is not eating, and the nurse refused. The other patient in the room with my mother fed her that night!
During the night, my mother asked for a bed pan, and no one came, and she finally urinated in her bed. They did not change her bed until the next morning, and made her sleep in her urine.
I asked to see my mother's medical records which according to NYS law they are required to show them to a patient if requested. They refused, and stated it is the law and their policy. Yet their welcome pamphlet says you can see your records according to NYS policy. When I asked the physician, Dr. Petrossian, if I can see the medical records, he gave me the records to look at and the nurse immediately grabbed them and took them away.
15 DEC 1995 I was asked why I wanted to see the records, and I said I wanted to see her ECG and cardiac rhythm. The nurse said it is NSR (Normal Sinus Rhythm). My mother has not been in NSR for 2 1/2 years - she has A-Fib.
16 DEC 1995 My mother asked for pain medication at 6 p.m.; I left at 8:30 and she had not received the pain medication yet.
The nursing staff was vindictive because I asked to see medical records!
St. Francis arranged for home nursing for my mother. After about 3 visits from the male nurse, I became suspicious about his visits because he never called to make an appointment and just showed up at different times. The next time he came to our front door I asked him for an ID, which he refused to show me. I called the nursing office on the paperwork he gave us, and no one there knew who he was. I refused to let him in the house. A few minutes later I received a call from someone telling me to open the door "right f****** now." This home nursing organization was owned by one of the nursing directors at St. Francis Hospital.

My last experience was very good. I have to make an appointment for a general checkup. I have been seeing this doctor for several years. She was very good. My wife recommended her because she was her general doctor for internal medicine.

AI was seen the next day and a sonogram was ordered after which an MRI was also ordered and I've been referred to a surgeon. I have been very satisfied with the doctor and all the staff. The doctor has been with me step by step and is following up with all the oher doctors she has referred me to. I can't be more pleased with the care I'm receiving from them and would definitely recommend them.

AHe is very good doctor. He is thorough. He listens and has very good listening skills and he follows up. He make sure you have all the tests that you need to have. They have got a very tiny waiting room.- Michael C.

BDr. Santo Basileo is good but the service of the front desk people that work for him is horrible. We wait for hours and hours and a lot of people go to the office. I have gone there for many years. They are a little expensive and I am looking for somebody else.- anna p.

He wanted to do a test on me which in the past I had an extremely bad experience with. Dr. Makovsky took his time & explain how he would perform the test & that it wouldn't be anything like what I experience in the past. He was so very kind & gentle & it went exactly as he said it would.
He also doesn't have you come back for test results but will tell you on the phone. I've found some doctors will have you come in just to make the money for another visit..

ADr. Hisler has treated me without any major concerns. When I was recently sick and could not control my asthma, Dr. Hisler prescribed a steroid to help and it worked! Within a a few days, my asthma was back under control.

ABeen seeing Dr. Livelli for several years. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. He may be a bit conservative but that suits me fine. Some may see him as 'old school'. However, he is up-to-date on new technology. For example, I take Warfarin and he facilitated a self-testing device for me which is very convenient.

AIt was smooth and efficient. The nurse practitioner, I believe her name was Stephanie, was straight to the point, comforting, and knowledgeable. When she found out the visit wasn't covered by insurance she didn't try to get me to do any excessive processes, just simply fixed the problem and I was on my way. This was my first visit to a gynecology office, and I was put at ease and taken care of in a timely and personable manner. If I could get my insurance to cover it, I'd go back in a heartbeat!
