Hvac Repair reviews in Flushing

Terrible. I did my research on the part he replaced and the valve was $90-$150 dollars. I was overcharged by $420 dollars. Never again. I got ripped off by this company. I will be taking them to small claims court to get my $420 dollars back. The job took 20 minutes to complete and replace the valve. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Below is a picture of the valve that he replaced. That was all he did for $650 dollars. During our conversation, he said he was a honest man (yeah right). I requested a detailed receipt from him and they failed to provide it to me. He never gave me a written estimate neither.

My boiler was not working in the middle of winter so I called CCH mechanical services and helped me to fix the boiler problem thru the phone, the person on the other line was very professional and he suggested that my problem was the thermostat and suggested to replace batteries, Problem solved! They were honest and saved me money. Any problem in my house heating or cooling will definitely use this company.

My building requires a certificate of liability which they wanted to pass on the fee of $100 to me basically saying they did not want to do business with my buildings management. I cant use them if they cannot give me the certificate of liability without charging me the fee. I have never had this C.O.L. with any other company.

I've contacted Rapid Heating and Cooling after reading the reviews, Corey was able to come the next day and fixed the issue (expansion tank). He replaced it and the heating worked again on the 2nd floor. He further diagnosed the 2nd zone issue to be a pump, which was also replaced and re-mediated our heating problems. He was very responsive and knowledgeable. Will definitely hire him again.

CCH Mechanical is a highly professional, and more importantly, trustworthy company. I had interviewed and dealt with other HVAC companies and I know a few horror stories from selecting the wrong ones. All Nick, Rick, and entire crew were always professional, patient and courteous. The office staff showed a high level of responsiveness and respect. They did an amazing job of replacing my old furnace with the new one. Everything went exactly to plan; the way Nick had described it to me during the estimate. The work was completed with high level of attention to small detail and quality. The pricing was very competitive and I got good terms on the warranty as well. I enjoyed working with all of you CCH Mechanical.

Honesty goes a very long way, and I can not stress enough how GRATEFUL I am to have called Amtech. It is December 11, 2018 and unfortunately, my gas boiler's pilot light went out sometime in the middle of the night. By early morning our home was was very very cold. I called my regular plummers located here in Queens, but they were unavailable all day, as it is the middle of winter and naturaly, the boiler repair demand is at an all time high. I came across the Amtech on Angie's list but noticed they were out in Brooklyn. Having absolutely no cash, I was very worried they wouldn't come out to Queens unless it was worth their time by fabricating some "repair job", even though I knew it was only a matter of lighting up the pilot.(But unfortunately, sometimes a home owner is backed up against the wall with no way out and has to take a leap of faith). After no other choice but to accept the risk, I agreed to have Arik from Amtech come out to my home. Arik was at my Flushing, Queens home in approximately 1 hour. When I first saw Arik in front of my home, I felt this very sense of sincerity and kindness, I just can't explain, nevertheless, I knew he still had to come inside and give me his opinion. Once he got inside he went straight to the boiler. He immediately took a look and began to explain to his assistant the process and what has to be done. In SECONDS he lit up the pilot, and the boiler turned back on. That was it, the boiler and heat were back on. I can not stress enough how relieved I was. At no moment did Arik waste time by trying to look for some "repair" excuse. But the good news didn't end just here for me, there's more.... When I initially called Amtech, Arik had quoted me $175.00 for the visit plus any repair parts and a %5 credit card processing fee. So, after he lit up the pilot, I asked him if he would please include cleaning/vacuuming the boiler in the $175. price, when he informs me the job will only cost me $99. (to honor a maintenance promotion I had originally found on Angie's List, but wasn't sure it could be applie).. Well, he did apply the promotion and my cost turned out to be $99. I was overcome by relief and happiness, that I literally could hear "Angels" singing. He could've easily charged me the $175. and due to the weather and a newborn in our home, I would've been stuck charging it to my credit card. But he never did me wrong. Arik, then asked me if I would like to learn how to turn on the pilot myself to which I agreed. Arik was very kind, and proceeded to teach me the necessary steps. Once finished, he didn't run out, he stayed and advised me on the thermostats that would best regulate my heating costs in that space. By the way, his assistant was very kind and professional when Arik step out. I can only say that Arik from Amtech did not take advantage of my situation, NOT EVEN ONCE, and helped me in more ways than I can say. He was never out to get me. Thank you to Arik and his assistant, for coming out here to Flushing, Queens, and doing right by me throughout the visit. You have gained my TRUST through your honesty, kindness and Expertise. To Angies' List members, don't hesitate to give them a try. I took a leap of faith, and am very grateful. I will be using them in the future for sure!

I have an old gas boiler that couldn't produce any more heat. Corey arrived within the time frame he had scheduled and right away was able to detect a couple of things wrong with the boiler. He told me exactly what was wrong and was able to fix the issues and saved me a lot of money in the process. I would definitely recommend him.

Very professional, came quickly, polite, worked neatly. The compressor is in the attic, little more than a crawl space but he kept me apprised of everything by texting me pictures. Discovered reason for musty odor was a leaking clogged copper pipe. He offered to repair the problem on the spot, saving me time and money by not having to hire a plumber.

Price was very fair and entire project was professionally handled. I own a brick Tudor home and was very concerned abut preserving the character and beauty of the home. HVAC plus designed a system that barely interfered with either the inside or outside architecture. Every step of the Installation was performed in a timely, efficient manner from the design stage to the tutorial. Highly recommended.

This is an update of my previous post of 6/24/2017. I just had another HVAC Co. look at this A/C unit, because it made strange noises. When Gabriel cleaned the unit last year, he claimed he couldn't find a filter for this unit. Now, there was debris inside the unit and certainly no filter installed. This is really infuriating! Gabriel should have had a machine to clean up the dirty compressor, instead of just using water. He should have made sure that there was no loose debris inside of the duct, AND HE SHOULD HAVE INSTALLED A FILTER. - Consumer beware!!!
