    The service has been terrible. I'm sorry that I switched. I can't even use their remote. It's antique. They have a guarantee now. If they show up half hour late, I get a $25 credit on my bill. They were half hour late. I felt terrible because we had snow that day.

    The price that they charge is really expensive. I think it shouldn't be as much as it is, I think it's crazy. We always have the problem that they drop CBS because they said CBS is asking them for too much money. I don't know if I'm getting credit on my bill because the latest bill I received was a couple of days ago and it was still the regular price and I don't know if it was gonna be prorated later or what have to be nothing has been said but I actually am paying for premier cable which is Showtime that adds up the last bill and I don't know when then the cut off that's what I'm saying. I hope to get a credit for the channels that they are not providing. It's with Showtime and it's also with Cinemax and those are items that I pay separately for them but so far I have not been given any sort of credit for that service that is not available for me.

    Geoffrey did a thorough investigation, and concluded that the outside line needed to be replaced.  He got on the phone with Verizon and, speaking their language, convinced them to replace the outside line (our experience has otherwise been that Verizon will do a makeshift patch, and service will go out again).  The line replacement was indeed what we needed, because the signal is much clearer now, without the static and other interference we'd been getting.  Geoffrey called a few days later to follow up.  He's a retired telephone man, and really knows his stuff.  He's also a real gentleman.  We can't say enough good about him!

    I like the service but I hate their prices. I have called them several times about what they charge me. I have had their service since the early 1990's and I think they should give something to their old, loyal customers. The technical part is okay.

    Verizon has fair service. It's like anything else; if you get somebody that knows what they are talking about, it's great. And if you don't, it's a mess. It's kind of like a roulette wheel. We last went in to their office about five months ago to upgrade my husband's phone but they didn't have the new iPhone yet. So we are waiting. We got this fellow there who knew exactly what he was talking about. He was very helpful and very professional. We had a good experience; we were definitely in the right place at the right time. Because I've also had just the opposite of that experience. We also have internet service through Verizon and it's okay. They are competitive as anybody else and their service is okay.

    They are polite, and they are helpful. They helped us over the phone when our internet was giving trouble. Now I know how to do that myself because they explained it to me. Their price is about the same as everybody else, but my son complains. He is the one who pays the bills. They are very responsive, they get right on the phone if I call. We constantly use them, we are hooked up to them, and we have no other choice, they are here to stay.

    It was $167. Then they told me they would do it for $142. But I was so fed up already, tired of just telling them and not leaving. I switched to Time Warner.
